In the event of a win, the property is handed over to you ready for occupancy. All acquisition-related costs, such as notary fees, land registry fees and real estate transfer tax, are already covered.
If you decide to sell the property after winning, any costs and potential taxes associated with the sale would need to be borne by you.

Entry confirmed but lots still showing as zero
I recently purchased entries for the Omaze Berlin Penthouse draw (order confirmed and payment successfully processed), but I am currently concerned about the transparency of the ticket allocation system.
After completing my purchase, my account still shows:
Total number of lots: 0
No lottery package ID assigned
I understand that backend allocation delays may happen, especially close to the draw deadline. However, from a participant’s perspective, seeing zero entries after a confirmed payment creates uncertainty and reduces trust in the process.
For a regulated charity lottery under German supervision, I would expect clearer visibility of:
Entry confirmation
Ticket allocation timing
Whether purchases made near the deadline are immediately included in the draw pool
I am not suggesting wrongdoing, but greater transparency would significantly improve user confidence.
I hope Omaze can clarify how ticket allocation works and reassure participants that confirmed orders are fully included in the draw.

After each ticket purchase, you will normally receive a purchase confirmation, and once your verification has been successfully completed, you can view your ticket package ID in your account’s order history.
If this is only a display or technical issue on our side, your entries are of course included in the draw from the moment of purchase — provided that your verification has been successfully completed.
