Racism??

Been subscribed to monthly for nearly a year. Nothing won and upon reflection the amount of coloured people who have won just goes to show hand picked winners 🤷‍♂️ going to BOTB!

wasted time and money

wasted time and money
’ve been playing Omaze Competitions for quite a long time, but "unfortunately I haven’t had any luck winning so far".The chances of winning are extremely low, even if you spend more....( all Subscriptions paid in the same time...for every single month, and extra entries purchased on every prize MONTHLY BY ME so over 1000 entries..., )! However the false...discount is a very cheap and disappointing tactic and you have no consideration to regulars at all in my view! Will be really appreciated some transparency about when the draw happens, any reassurance that all entries are properly included, and how the winner..is selected as clear evidence that the process is genuinely random and fair. Cheers , I m out.... now

I signed up to win and during that hope I was lead to believe I was also helping charity. But I’m confused..we all purchase tickets, have been given a personal winning number..then it’s draw day and a winning number is drawn!! This number is not published until they have supposedly contacted the winner and confirmed they meet the winning criteria! Then the winning number is published with an email saying ‘check to see if you have won’ and we all know we haven’t won as we would of been contacted 🤷‍♀️ I have already contacted their customer service to ask why they wait to publish the winning number and it was because they want to make sure the winner is legit 🤣

How do you rate a game of chance?

It's a bit weird being asked by someone like Omaze how I rate their service. The simple answer is 5 stars and fantastic if I win, one star and terrible if I don't - so a 3 in the middle seems about right as I've not won yet - but might!

The idea of it is great

The idea of it is great. But realistically most ppl don’t play for their money to go to charity they play in the hope of a better life for themselves. I find it frustrating how they tell unhappy customers they have contributed money towards charity. Again, I’m sure if that was their goal donations they would donate directly to charities of their own choice. I’d stop saying this in responses to unhappy customers because people don’t play for the charity aspect of the raffle, sorry Omaze just an honest review.

I’ve played for years, since the beginning, small subscriptions, one offs, £50 subscriptions. But don’t win anything not even vouchers (really don’t want vouchers or Omaze credit - this is a poor move on Omaze part). Maybe way back I might have won £10 or a voucher.

As much as I love the dream, spending £55 on a raffle monthly and never winning nada, it’s just not practical, if I play this amount on the lottery I get quite a few small wins each month. It eases the pain of paying out what adds upto £660 a year for no single return with Omaze. It doesn’t make sense.

If I were paying out £660 p a to a business I’d want a service in return. A raffle is not a guaranteed win of course we all no this but still £660 is alot of money to give away if your not rich already.

So many people I know have stopped playing because it’s always someone else as one said. Another said Omaze check people’s social media before awarding prizes. I don’t know how true that is but I don’t have a social media presence as such so if that’s the case I have little chance of winning. 😬

I’ve actually, reluctantly cancelled my subscription today. I’d like to see something change so there’s more transparency around the draw taking place such as Tramway Path were they draw live so you can see it’s not judged on you social media presence and better chances for people to win life changing amounts which for some could be £50000 - £100,000.

Also instead of doing one house at 4 Million, maybe do a draw a few times a year were they have 8 or 10 smaller houses at 500k each. So people could afford to live in them. Not have to go through the stress of selling up because it’s impossible to pay the upkeep on the property.

Imagine if Omaze said next month they are giving away 10 everyday homes, how many of us would enter it. I absolutely would!!!

At the end of this I have to say, I love Omaze, I love the idea of what they are selling - the dream home. Yes, charities get help - that’s a bonus. But I cannot keep throwing money away on a dream that clearly isn’t going to happen for me.

For all those who continue to play - I hope Omaze makes your dreams come true 🙏

Is it money wasted?

Nothing went wrong. Maze encourages you to buy additional chances to win in multiple competitions. I pay my monthly fee and forget about it. Wouldn’t know if i have won, wouldn’t know how to check

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We do email to let our customers know the winning entry code is out; we always contact our winners by email and we also phone major prize winners, if they have provided us with their number.

If you want to check your own code, you can log into your account at omaze.co.uk, head to 'my account,' 'my entries' and see your entry code, and then cross-reference it with the winning code, which can also be viewed in the 'draw results' area of our website.

If you would like more information or guidance, please reach out to us at team@omaze.co.uk, we a re happy to help!
