Lazy useless and Incompetent (claims department)

(claims department)

Completely unorganized, zero customer support skills, no contact or information unless you make contact, and they hang up when they don't feel like working in the job they applied for

I have never delt with such Incompetence and blatant laziness as I am dealing with them right now

My parked car was crashed into 5 months ago and still have got absolutely nowhere with them.

When they sent someone to come and inspect my car ,I was instructed to "wait 5 days" to hear from them before they left.i suggested taking my car to the repair shop they recommended, and I was told to wait untill I hear from them .

I gave them almost two weeks to "hear back" and then I got sick of waiting so I contacted them, the phone rang out for ages and would "randomly" hang up.after being hung up on 3 different times (all at different call durations,so it didn't time out) I got an answer, only to be told they can't do anything untill I get a damage report from the repair shop .not only was I not asked to get this report,THEY TOLD ME DONT YET!!

So the next day I go there and get the report done ,the garage sends it to them and I wait another week or so ,still don't "hear back" so the following week I called them ."we still haven't received the report, but we will follow up".

Two days later I ring again and I'm told they had the report the past few days (contradiction the earlier update)but the person I was dealing with was not there at the time I was on the phone to them
so the lady on the phone said she would need to review the info herself (fair enough, and she was the only person who seemed like was good at her job)and will be sending an email with the offer (this is how I found out the car was to be repaired not written off,I had to assume this because I wasn't told absolutely anything)

The email explained essentially the car would cost too much for them to fix ,so here's an offer of half nothing to fix it yourself.
I replied (an email) explaining that wasn't even nearly enough money and that amount wasn't even accounting for most of the damage

A few days to a week or so ,no reply yet again,so I had to ring back.i was told their engineers are reviewing it and I will have an answer within 5 days .

A full week later , at least 6 days, no call,no email,no text ,no letter .so I call them myself yet again .and back to ringing out for varying time lengths only to be hung up on .so again I keep going untill I eventually get an answer
"We still haven't heard back ,I will follow up now again"

Another week or so passes , again,no call no text no email ,no letter, so I contact them myself yet again.(This morning 11:44) we have received some information from the engineer but I'm only getting it now ,so I will call you back shortly to discuss it ,I said good ,and I informed them I work from 2pm so before then , otherwise an email, they said that's no problem il get that sent over .

Back to radio silence

I rang them repeatedly, back to back from 4:55 (almost 5hours later)right up untill 5:31 .they hung up every single time , again at different times , sometimes it would ring for 90sec sometimes 2min sometimes 4min ,but Everytime they hung up,untill eventually I got the automated message that the office was closed.

Nothing but lies and empty promises and absolute lazyness.if you have a claim and this company are "handling" it ,just sell the car.

Ivernia very poor company

Ivernia is the reason insurance companies have such a poor reputation, I have a claim which is ongoing over 2mnths, this is the most straightforward claim ever, I have had 5 engineers, an eye witness and Ivernia still dragging this out.So my point is you will pay for cover but they will do everything they can not to pay don't use Ivernia

9 days waiting on new Back windscreen had to do it myself

On November 4th , I requested a back windscreen for A TOYOTA COROLLA 2010 , I got an arrival date for the glass of November 11th .
November 11th came and went no contact . Wednesday November 12th I emailed and rang to ask how long more will it take to come , Monday 17th of November I was told. I then decided to go to a different glass company as I could not wait any longer as you can imagine having three children and no transport and uncertainty about when it would be done . 9 days later I am paying €310 and I will be sending on my proof I had to pay to get it done rather than waiting two weeks in total had I of waited. There was no clear date set of when it was actually going to get done . Autoglass have been informed.I cannot wait any longer. My car now needs a valet over dampness with 9 days rain getting in . I will be sanding receipts for both jobs I've had to get done , while my insurance were of no help to me nor autoglass

No support when you need it

There was an incident that resulted in damage to my car. Two weeks after the incident, without receiving any support (as they have been on holiday out of the office!), and with their aggressive and mean response to emails, I would never recommend them. You shouldn't expect support from them when you need it.
