Not the service I expected initially, but then redeemed
I started with this company in June 2025, as was very impressed with their initial talks, letting me know what they would do and what to expect, so I signed up with them on a 12 month contract. My account manager was Sam Carter, and although very nice, it quickly became apparent that he was not experienced in my type of business which is holiday lets. My goal was to get on the first page of google, no-one said this wouldn't happen, and in fact I was given the impression this would be achievable and I would see results in 3 months. Unfortunately 12 months later, I still haven't seen this happen, and I think I am on about page 8, who looks on page 8!! I also had a problem when I asked for my reviews to be imported from AirBnB, and unfortunately Sam sent my customers off my website and onto AirBnB, showing all my competitors. I asked for it to be rectified immediately, and it took Sam about 8 weeks, and a complaint to sort it. Whilst everyone I have dealt with at First Found have been really lovely, that hasn't brought in any business for me, and after £1800+, I am no further on. It may depend on what business you have, or who your account manager is. I asked for a report showing what has been done on the website, and it shows the last edit was done in December 2025, and all that has happened since has been Search Engine Management Monitoring. So not a lot for the last 6 months. I am very disappointed with the service.

So I now feel I need to update this review. On reading my review the Manager Gavin contacted me as he wanted to discuss my experiences and to listen to what I had to say, so he could help. He was obviously very disappointed with the review, and genuinely wanted to help me. He explained that I hadn't been given all the information, and work had been done on the website since December 2025 in fact by Gavin himself. He also explained that when you put in 'holiday cottages near Withernsea' my website 'cosycottageretreats' comes up on the first page of google, and it does. So Firstfound have actually achieved my goal, and have been actively working on the site, just unknown to me for which he apologised. He has also been really helpful with further suggestions on how to improve traffic to the site, and even sent me examples. They were obviously very keen to make things right, and I actually have the greatest respect for them in doing so. They could have left it, but they didn't, they are very proud of their company and this shows it. So yes now I would recommend them, but if you have any queries get in touch with them as soon as you can, they really want to help sort it

FirstFound has made a real difference for my small UK vaping accessories site, Vaping4Health.co.uk. It's a tricky niche with dry herb vaporizer parts and upgrades, so standard SEO doesn't cut it. Andy and the team took time to understand our products and the weird terms people search (like WPA adapters or dosing capsules). We've had better visibility for specific brand searches now, and traffic feels more on-target. They're easy to work with and seem to know what they're doing in this space. I contacted FirstFound because I needed a new Website building, and to move hosting over to them as a matter of urgency. Everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful and made sure our site was up and running in not time at all. The whole team listened to my requirements and the site is exactly how I wanted it to be. The SEO is great, we are already getting a lot of new enquiries. I also needed help with our emails, as our previous host was not contactable. Will Harper has been a tremendous help throughout the entire process. He responds quickly, he's very friendly and patient and nothing is too much trouble. I can't recommend FirstFound enough!

I have taken the service of this company- for SEO and social media marketing-the person who took phone in beginning was persuasive enough to make you sign the contact.
After one year of service and pathetic social media adverts-the person assigned will call weekly like a robot ,didn’t post anything for 4 months and then came up with the worst -I received 0 calls/0 engagement after paying 4000£ pounds.
Disappointed and lost money for no service.
I wouldn’t recommend.

I highly doubt that the 5 star reviews are genuine.
FirstFound are scam artists that get you to sign up and pay a large deposit before they design you a new website (Wordpress) and then charge you per month for SEO which they don't do. They then buy your web address without you knowing and transfer ownership. We only knew this once we tried to cancel our package. We had no new enquiries with the website and the old Wix website which we had done ourselves before performed much better. This company need to be shut down and reported to Trading Standards.

Like many agencies, our service structure includes an upfront cost to set up and build a website, followed by a monthly fee to support ongoing SEO and site maintenance. This isn’t unusual in our industry and is always clearly outlined at the start of any engagement.
In your case, we were working to reverse a significant drop in traffic and search performance that had already occurred before you joined us. These situations take time to recover from, and while we fully acknowledge that progress wasn’t immediate, the data was showing a positive upward trend at the time your service ended. It’s unfortunate that this momentum wasn’t allowed to continue.
We also want to clarify that your domain was never purchased or transferred without your knowledge. We only worked with you on several occasions to implement requested changes to your setup. While there were some technical challenges in doing this at times, we did our best to assist whenever possible and always kept you informed.
It’s regrettable that your expectations weren’t met, and we sincerely wish we could have aligned sooner so that you might have seen the full benefit of the work put in. I signed up with FirstFound for SEO services, hoping to attract more customers to my business. Unfortunately, despite making significant payments, I saw no return on investment. While I understand that SEO is a long-term process, I expected some measurable improvements over the months I was with them, but I did not receive any leads or inquiries.
The company emphasised their upfront work and long-term strategy, but in my case, it did not deliver results. When I requested to end the service due to financial hardship, they initially insisted on further payments despite my concerns. After multiple discussions, they eventually agreed to close my account, but only after significant back-and-forth.
Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I would caution others to carefully consider whether this service is the right fit for their business before committing to a long-term contract.

We feel it’s important to provide some context for others reading this review. You signed a 12-month agreement for a custom website and SEO strategy, fully understanding and agreeing to the terms. We delivered exactly as promised – a new website, and increased visibility of 445% in the first month alone and continued growth thereafter.
Despite this progress, you requested to cancel after just three months, even though SEO is a long-term strategy, as discussed in our initial consultations, and your acknowledgement in your review. When you informed us of your decision, we made every effort to discuss potential solutions with you, trying to find ways to help you. However, you refused to engage in meaningful discussions and instead insisted on cancelling early and non-payment, despite the clear terms of our agreement.
As a small business, we invest significant time, expertise, and resources into each project, and we also have employees and operational costs to consider. When agreements aren’t honoured, it impacts not just us as a company but also the hardworking people who rely on us.
The website and SEO work we provided required substantial time, expertise, and resources from us. These are services we fully delivered in good faith, yet instead of acknowledging the work done, we received this one-star review and refusal of payment. We take all feedback seriously, but it is disappointing to be portrayed unfairly when we acted professionally and delivered measurable results.

First Found is a company that is true to its word
We have been working with them for about 3 months now, and they are by far the best company we have worked with.
First Found has just set up Google ads for us and Lynsey Grogan, who has been very helpful and Iam sure will do as good a job with Google ads as Sam Carter has done with SEO. We feel sure that working with FirstFound will be as rewarding in the future as it is at present

They seem to think that 'service' is taking money to do nothing, then to feed you with Guff to take even more money to do even more nothing.
Do not waste your time and money on this disingenuous company.
Their response is merely more tosh.
I waited a week for the phone call they promised.
However, no call was received.
I did however, receive a demand for a direct debit.
STEER WELL CLEAR OF THIS 'COMPANY'.
