I must have missed the requirements of…

I must have missed the requirements of uploading images (which I did find strange) until after payment. Now I am stuck in limbo awaiting proper images from my travel-mates. Just a glitch, most likely user error, but possible a need for a different code-flow from personal info to photo uploads to payment.

What a scam!

I tried to canceling the application within 10 minutes as service charge was something I didn't agree on. The site mentions: "Refunds can only be requested 24 hours after payment." and based on feedback / reviews after 24 hours they don't entertain cancelation. The site is charging $127 / person service fee for a visa that is free :) What a scam!!

Unnecessary and extremely expensive bullshit

Evisalegal is bullshit and completely unnecessary to use. I was stupid enough to use it myself because I wasn’t paying enough attention.
I simply Googled “ETA visa England,” and Evisalegal came up. The website looked clean, professional, and official, so I filled in the information I was asked for and was then taken to the payment page. I paid more than £200 for two people because I didn’t actually know what it was supposed to cost.
However, when I was asked to fill in all the remaining information afterwards, such as passport numbers, photos, addresses, and so on, I became suspicious. I then discovered that the official website is gov.uk, where it costs only £40 for two people.
So DO NOT use Evisalegal. In my opinion, it is borderline fraudulent and completely pointless to pay them five times more than it costs on gov.uk. It is the same application, takes the same amount of time, and is just as easy to complete.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. DO NOT USE! A company that misleads customers.
That allows visa's that are free to cost $141. I tried cancelling immediately and it wouldn't allow for 24 hours, and now is refusing a full refund. Misrepresentation and lack of transparency the purchase in reliance on representations made on their website. In particular, the search result and associated webpage prominently stated (see image below) that travel authorisation for Australians travelling to Korea was "Mandatory from Australia." As an Australian citizen, this representation was materially misleading, as Australians are currently exempt from the Korean K-ETA requirement for the relevant period. This representation was a significant factor in my decision to purchase the service and is clear misrepresentation.

Dear customer,

We're sorry to hear that your experience was not satisfactory, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Your K-ETA application was processed and approved before we received your cancellation request. As stated in the official K-ETA terms, once the authorization has been issued, it can be used until its expiration date, and the application fee paid is non-refundable. For this reason, we are unable to process the refund requested.

We understand your point regarding the clarity of the information about this requirement on our website, and we are sharing this feedback with our team to review how it's communicated based on the traveler's nationality.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

This is not the government website but is easily mistaken for it

This isn't the government website, it is a private firm that charges high fees for making an application for you. It isn't a scam exactly, they say they are a private firm in small print...although the country flag logo and "evisa" next to it makes it look like it is a portal for an electronic visa for a government. I got my visa and it does look legitimate, so I can't say I didn't get what I paid for. But the firm obviously exists because people think they have to pay more to get a visa and they just do not.

Warning: Scam – Avoid This Company

Please be extremely cautious when dealing with this company.

I have been trying for the past four months to recover my money after the British Embassy informed me that no UK eVisa/ETA had been issued in my name, despite the company claiming that my application had been successfully completed. They have refused to provide a refund, even though I requested cancellation within minutes of placing the order and in accordance with their published refund policy.

Based on my experience and the many similar complaints from other customers, I strongly encourage anyone considering using this service to do thorough research before proceeding.

Dear Yiannos,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we take the concerns you've raised seriously.

We would like to clarify that our company is a private, independent visa processing assistance platform. We do not present ourselves as a government agency, and this is expressly stated on our website.

Regarding the specific issue you describe — namely that the embassy has indicated no application was filed under your name — we would like to look into this directly, as this is not the outcome we aim to provide and we want to understand what happened in your case.

Refund eligibility depends on the status of the application at the time the cancellation request was received, and the applicable terms are outlined in our Refund Policy, available during the application process.

We invite you to contact our support team at support@evisalegal.com with your application reference so we can review the specific details of your case and provide you with an appropriate resolution.

evisalegal is a scam

Do not use evisalegal.com.
Visas to the UK ONLY COST $30. They are charging you over $100. I paid, and then their site kept rejecting my passports. So now this scam house has my passport information and I didn’t get a visa. They are a fraudulent company that is just trying to get your money and passport information. If they truly mean what they say in their reply they would work with Amex to reverse the charge since I was never able to receive my three Visas from Evisalegal. I took nothing from them and yet they are fighting Amex to reverse the charge. A legit company would not do that.

It is OK

It is OK, but I'm not exactly sure how to proceed with uploading the passport file and headshot.
