Good new car with a lot of features. Best price we got in whole Wien. FullInsurance was too expensive, 60€ for one day and you still have to deposit 500€ with full insurance

If I could rate these minus I would.

I have used rental companies all over Europe (and beyond) and never been treated this way.
I booked to hire a car from Milan Airport. I should have known they were dodgy when they took me to a rental place far beyond the airport grounds (a 10-minute drive) in a small village. They seemed shady from the start but it was late and I just wanted to get to the hotel.
On the return, they tried to say I'd gone over the mileage but I could prove I had only driven to the hotel for an event and then driven the car back to the airport. They claimed that I caused damage to the car, which I didn't, and got aggressive with me. The female customer service agent was one of the most unpleasant people I've ever had to deal with, bullying me, practically spitting in my face and basically they forced me into paying for things that weren't my fault.
Do not hire from them, it was a dreadful experience. They're criminals.

Dryyve keeps deposit in case of speed tickets etc. My deposit was (is still) 600 € and after 6.5 months I still haven’t got the money back. Do not bother to email them… no reply.
Scheme to earn extra damage fee at Torino airport Dryyve
I rented a car in Torino Airport, they made me sign the contract before seeing the vehicle, with no photos of damage.
The guy that delivered the car was smoking and made a damage in the door of the car. At the end they made me pay about 700€ for that almost invisible damage that is difficult to spot both on the videos and photos that I made and also they have made and inspite all the cigarette buts that are seen on the videos He claims not to have smoke by the car. This reaction makes me think that this might be a scheme to charge tired drivers that arrive to the airport and earn extra fees. I have made several claims and decided to go to EEC Consumer Support.
No First Name in Dryyve's Computer - No Rental Car
Summary: If you want to pick up a rental car for which you have a prepaid voucher including full insurance coverage, stay away from Dryyve!
Here is our experience:
We arrived at Palermo Airport on the Italian island Sicily in time and called Dryyve to request their shuttle bus. This worked fine. After a 10-minutes ride covering the nine kilometres to their office, we arrived there.
Besides the shuttle bus driver, there were four employees in the office. We had their full attention, as we were their only customers - and remained so for the next two hours. We presented our voucher, the driving licence, the credit card and passport, all
in the name of the primary driver of the reserved car.
We have rented quite a number of cars over the past few decades on five different continents, but Dryyve gave us a completely new experience.
The problem started as follows: Dryyve claimed that my first name did not appear in THEIR computer system! Instead, the system contained only two academic titles, which also appear on my Unicredit Bank Austria credit card and on the voucher. We suggested simply entering my three-letter first name into their computer and, if necessary, deleting anything else that might been entered in the corresponding field. That should not have been particularly difficult.
Instead, this triggered a lengthy discussion. Fortunately, my wife is fluent in Italian, so there was no possibility of pretending that they didn't understand our English. They gave us vague and contradictory explanations, blamed to booking agent,
and claimed that the first-name field in THEIR computer system could only be changed by the booking agent. We called the agent in Munich, Germany. He spoke to the employees in Dryyve's office, sent them an additional email, and tried everything he could to resolve the issue - all without any effect. Of course, Dryyve then offered to set up a new rental contract for three times the original price. No thanks!
We insisted to be brought back to the airport.
Meanwhile, our friends checked train and bus connections and arranged another rental car. As a last resort, our friends offered to pick us up from the airport.
Once again: Stay away from Dryyve if you really need a rental car.
I would like to put -100 stars!!!
I would like to put -100 stars!!!
Absolutely terrible experience. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this car rental company.
I returned the car on January 26, 2026, and since then I have been waiting for my deposit to be refunded. We are now in September, and I still have not received my money back.
What makes the situation even worse is the complete lack of communication. I have called several times and sent multiple emails, but nobody provides a proper answer or takes responsibility for resolving the issue. Being ignored for months after a company has taken your deposit is simply unacceptable.
Keeping a customer’s money for more than seven months without a clear explanation or refund is extremely unprofessional and raises serious concerns about the way this company treats its customers.
I have rented cars in many different countries and have never experienced anything like this before. Returning the car was apparently easy — getting my own money back has become impossible.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I would never rent from this company again and strongly recommend that anyone considering booking with them think twice. Be very careful when leaving a deposit with this company, because you may end up spending months chasing your own money and being completely ignored.
One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
SCANDAL!!!
SCANDAL!! I booked a car for 24 hours for 28 euros, but with hidden costs, it ended up costing an additional 175 euros.blääääääää
Payment taken without explanation
I have had my credit card charged an unexpected additional charge a month after we used dryyve in Austria (Salzburg Airport). I have emailed them 3 times to request an explanation for what these additional charges are for, and received no response. I have now opened a dispute claim against dryyve with my credit card company. Avoid them at all costs and go with a 'reputable' car hire company, or at least one that provides some basic level of customer service.
The fact that they don't even respond to negative reviews to defend their actions highlights the level of contempt they hold for their customers.
Avoid, avoid, avoid, unless you enjoy being hit with additional stealth charges, weeks after the rental period has ended
Dryyve is withholding my Traffic Fine…
Dryyve is withholding my Traffic Fine Deposit for over 6 months without explanation and ignoring all email communications regarding Reservation No. 5HJE4A,
Unacceptable customer service
This company is a complete scam
This company is a complete scam! They refuse to return the deposit and, despite having purchased full insurance and unlimited mileage, they charged me an additional fee immediately after I returned the car!
They also claim that they need to pay a traffic fine on my behalf, but when I asked them to provide proof of the fine, they simply ignored my messages.
Stay away from this company in Bergamo! I strongly advise against renting a car from them..
Unjustified €320 charge after return – Avoid this company
We rented a car in Palermo (Rental agreement RNT-14814) and were forced to purchase their highest, most expensive full-coverage insurance at the counter. When we returned the vehicle on time and without any damage, the staff confirmed everything was fine and mentioned no issues regarding the deposit.
To our surprise, they later withheld €320 from our deposit without any prior notice, explanation, or detailed invoice. The return report only vaguely noted "Cleaning" for normal, standard use over six days—no photos, no itemized breakdown, and no proof of actual costs.
Customer support has provided zero justification for this abusive charge. We have already initiated a chargeback with our bank and reported their practices to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).
Completely dishonest practices and zero transparency. Avoid renting with Dryyve Italia.
Hidden fee be aware!!!
When I rented a car at Salzburg airport everything it was great but I had to pay a hidden fee 200€ for potential fines while driving in Austria. They told me it's just a deposit which will be refunded within 6 months. This has never happened since! They don't want to reply to my emails so if anyone pays this deposit at their rental desk must ask them to provide a document which shows this fee along with the refund date, otherwise it will be very difficult to get it back.
Dryyve car rent in Cagliari airport-…
Dryyve car rent in Cagliari airport- scammers, awful experience, terrible customer service- they wanted to force me to buy extra insurance for 360 EUR although we have had paid before online.
In the end we lost 200 eur for car rental- no car and destroyed first vacation day! Avoid them !!!
Very good service
Very good service, allowed me to return the car at 21:00 when my original return time was 17:00
Amazing
Amazing! We were stuck without a car because the other company didn’t accept my license at the last minute and this company saved us!!!
Issues with Damage Claims, GPS Fines, and Deposit Refunds
I have rented a car from Dryyve at Vienna Airport twice now, and unfortunately both experiences have been disappointing.
During my first rental, I was charged for a mini scratch. During my second rental, I was charged for allegedly exceeding the speed limit based solely on GPS data from the vehicle, rather than on an official speeding ticket or speed camera record.
Another major issue is the deposit policy. Dryyve keeps the security deposit for up to six months after each rental, which I find excessive and inconvenient. I am still waiting for the return of my deposit from my most recent rental.
Based on my experiences, I advise to not rent with Dryyve - they always find a way to charge you extra. Thats their business model.
esperienza pessima
A terrible experience. I chose not to spend €450 on insurance, knowing I am a careful driver. There was no joint inspection of the vehicle's condition at either pickup or drop-off. After the rental ended, they demanded €700 for wheel damage (even though I had driven only on expressways and parked in a garage). Then, using data from a sort of "black box," they identified minor instances of speeding and charged me another €500 for hypothetical fines and administrative vehicle impoundment fees. The total charge came to €1,589, even though I hadn't damaged so much as a single valve cap. A terrible experience. Now a legal battle begins, because unfortunately, they are holding €1,400 of my security deposit, which has been blocked on my credit card.
Terrible experience with Dryyve
Terrible experience.
08-Aug, my transit flight from middle east to Vienna was delayed for 3 hours. We booked a 9 seaters in this company Dryyve and the payment had already full paid. When we arrived to the airport, we were told that our booking was cancelled and the car was given to others. With no other choice, we, a group of 6 with 6 luggages was forced to accept a small 6 seaters, ending up passagers had to holding a 20 kg luggages on their legs for a 2 weeks road trip. And the money differences between 9 and 6 seaters were not returned. Please everyone avoid this company
