the best essential oil /
This is the best essential oil in the world. The bad Reviews are from people who have been all their lives going to the doctor but who have been brought up using Fitoterapia ( plants ) and those who know that it is a very powerful product. I helped all my family to get out of synthetic medicine that was destroying their life. I am 52 years old and since 1 year when someone introduced this product to me, I don't take any more synthetic products. Instead of bad-mouthing the company I would recommend finding out more or studying a bit of aromatherapy and starting to use them in your daily life if you want to age with a better quality of life. Life is made of choice…
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE JERKS
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE JERKS!
"Who" do they think they are - treating customers like crap?
WELL HOPEFULLY YOU LOSE ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO YOUNG LIVING FOR CHARGING OUTRAGEOUSLY TO TREAT PEOPLE SO DISRESPECTFULLY...AND LET'S NOT MENTION THE NUMEROUS MONTHLY PROBLEMS JUST TRYING TO BUY FROM YOU - NO MORE - ENOUGH'S ENOUGH!!
Customer since 2016-here's what you need to know
I have been a doTerra customer since 2016. Some reviews here are very misguiding so I would like to clarify some aspects:
1. It is not a pyramid scheme. There is an actual product. If one sells the product, gets commission as per a compensation plan that is solid.
2. Loyalty order if set it means one wants to order each month. It's the same as any subscription out there. If a loyalty order is set with payment info and products in the cart of course that it will go out on the set date, it's basic knowdledge.
3. Loyalty order can be cancelled, online too. Some years ago it used to be possible only via calling customer service or email (and setting the payment method to bank transfer, which if never done, then nothing happens), but they upgraded the system. There is a button right there in the loyalty order template.
4. doTerra has always been extremely cautious with the claims on the benefits. In fact, so cautious that it's frustrating to explain how things work sometimes. That's why, it is very unfair to say that they make outrageous claims.
5. As far as how to use the oils is concerned, the end user can always take either doTerra's or a certified aromatherapist's advice. Yes some oils can be ingested in certain ways and in given situations for a given period of time for example. This mode of use is however restricted to some oils and yes only if very pure. It's 2024 with a booming oils industry which means competition and scrutiny. Third parties have been always involved and conclusions presented on doTerra oils' purity and potency.
6. Customer service has always been stellar. They do not control the payment. But they always helped in any rare occasions of such nature as well.
7. I tried more than a dozen brands along the years. I always come back. The potency is an important aspect. One can buy the 10 times cheaper (probably adulterated) oil as well, but will need to use 10 times the quantity for effects too.
I wholeheartedly recommend doTerra.
Behaving like better than docs
There is just so much pressure selling and over promising. Those wellness advocate behaved as though they are more knowledgeable than doctors. A very dangerous attitude to have and gave the impression that all illnesses can be resolved with their snake oil. My last product that I used was PB Restore. It promises to be great for the gut, after taking it on 3 different occasions, I had such terrible tummy discomfort and it lasted for the entire night on the 3 occasions!!!
Great toothpaste
Europe doTERRA Worst customer service…
Europe doTERRA Worst customer service EVER. They do not refund the money back, it’s horrible. It’s a scam company, be careful and aware! 😡
I will never deal with doTERRA ever…
I will never deal with doTERRA ever again!! Their customer service is horrible!! I ordered business cards and I can’t get a hold of anyone to get info about my business cards. They give me a phone number that doesn’t seem to be in service when I email them they don’t email me back will not buy any of their products I wanted to sell doTERRA oil, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. This seems very unprofessional to me.
Fake PR
I havent ordered anything but the fake built school in africa just triggers me so 1*.
I ordered some Tea Tree (melaleuca)…
I ordered some Tea Tree (melaleuca) from Doterra... They charged me twice via Paypal and deducted the amounts from my checking account then refused to repay the overcharge. Yes, doTerra is good, but over the past few years it's been nothing but downhill as far as customer service. Now you get some Indian accent person who refuses to help you. They tell you they'll get back to you, but they lie. They dont follow up. They expect you to forget about it and when you don't they tell you you should receive your refund and it never happens. I've been a customer for years and I don't think I'll be for much longer. They're even delivering the oil via DHL now, and the oil is hot when delivered, so you know your product is ruined (according to what they say about storing your doTerra products). I did a comparison between some off brand 100% organic off Amazon and then bought doTerras ginger oil. They both work the same, except the Amazon brand was much cheaper.
Buy Onguard from Doterra--the company who makes it
I have been using Doterra's Onguard essential oil at my dental hygienist's request for some time now--a number of years. I would always try to find the best price I could from someone selling it rather than through Doterra. The last bottle I purchased on either ebay or Amazon tasted so different that I decided to go to Doterra itself and buy a bottle. Boy--I don't know what kind of concoction I was getting from other places, nor what they were putting in those Doterra bottles, but having just gotten and just begun to use Doterra from the source, I know I have been getting a dud product from other places. Onguard from Doterra tastes wholly different from the versions of it I've bought from other places. I made a huge error in judgment trying to save money. But I paid for it in bogus products. What I was using tasted like lavender oil or not even that. Don't do what I did.
This is a trap
This is a trap. I trusted a person who agitated me to create an account telling "You will get bonuses for orders, bla-bla". What I didn't know is that it's impossible to get out of it! They do everything to block your exit from the system! Also, if you are in a Loyalty program, they will charge you automatically every month. Even if you don't want to buy anything. All those 'details' were never mentioned by a consultant. Dear all, there are so many oils brands, please protect yourself from interacting with this company.
The purity of the oils is the best I have tried.
The purity of the oils is the best I have ever found. You can tell by the smell of each oil and you also know that it does what it is claimed to do. I am not sure of some doterra products sold on ebay which I have purchased because of their smell. I think maybe there is away to reproduce cheaper because the low prices seem to good to be true and plus the smell is off. I can't prove this!
Unscrupulous
After hearing that DoTerra oils claim to be the purest essential oils in the world, I wanted to order some frankincense. I became suspicious of their website at the offer of a 25% discount with conditions attached. I looked at other reviews on Trustpilot and was led to a documentary, ‘Inside the wellness industry’ by vice news on YouTube. I suspect this is some kind of pyramid scheme, given that the founders of DoTerra are the Mormon church in Utah, the DoTerra advocates enticing people on instagram seem reluctant to mention that. There’s an air of desperation if you mention this on social media, you get jumped on by other church members, trying to shut your opinion down. The potty-mouthed promoter of their scheme, ‘ginger Kate’ deletes comments and unleashes a tirade of insults to anyone who doesn’t bow to the façade. My eyes were opened and my shopping basket was now empty. Thanks to reviews, I was saved from what could have been a costly mistake.

doTerra lost 2 clients today
doTerra has good products but the marketing proces is really horrible, really I pay 300euros for 50ml of oils and you are getting 18 euros for the profile reactually station? And 9euros for the shipping? Are you serious? And doTerra's site is a really lottery you have to complete 10 Times the cart 🛒 to do it like you want. The payment proces is horrible I completed the card data clicked on pay but the site given me the bank transfer, without any notification of unsuccessful payment... PS doTerra lost 2 clients today!!!!!!!!!
Pass on the sunscreen
Sun screen not worth buying. Don't waste time on it
I received the wrong product and when…
I received the wrong product and when called to return, Melissa W, was the greatest customer service representative ever! She listened to my return issues and instead of saying sorry, this is best we can do, she went to her supervisor and resolved the issue perfectly for me. The customer service employees are on front lines and are the most important part of any company. If they are crap, the business loses! As I was searching where to review, I came across some disappointing information re the pay rate/ wage rate at Doterra. I pray that now, 2024, Melissa, her supervisor, are making a great, better than fair wage with excellent benefits as the company professes wellness. If you can't make living wage, there's no wellness.
Thanks.
Total annoyance to deal with
Total annoyance to deal with. I paid with a virtual credit card and they rejected my order for "security reasons". They act like they are doing you a favor to deal with and make the purchase process extremely bureaucratic. It seem like they are trying to lock the customer into a subscription instead of a simple purchase.
