Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 83 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently report that buses are unreliable, often being late, cancelled, or failing to show up at all, making it difficult to depend on the service for essential travel like work or college. Many people found the scheduling inconsistent, with buses driving past stops even when not full, leading to significant delays and frustration. This overall poor service and lack of adherence to timetables created a very stressful user experience for many. However, some customers also noted positive interactions with staff, describing drivers as friendly, helpful, and going out of their way to assist passengers. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that some drivers were rude, aggressive, or ignored passengers at stops, with instances of drivers not stopping or being unhelpful when issues arose.

Ghost buses. Bus arriving soon, then disapears, for over two hours. Shambles of a company

I was getting the 3.30 bus from knockbridge into Dundalk bus station I was stood up and waving and the bus driver just drove past me and I ran after him and tried waving the bus down and it never stopped I ended up paying a taxi 15 euro for the exact same distance when I could have paid 77 cent on a child’s leapcard absolutely fuming worst service ever !!!

We whad a very disappointing experience…

We had a very disappointing experience with both the app and the bus service in Cork. The app is poorly designed, difficult to navigate, and not user-friendly at all. It was confusing not only to locate where we want to go, to figure out how to buy a ticket in the first place, but even access tickets that had already been purchased. We spent around 15 minutes trying to find the approximate location, and figure out how to find the operator name, which was missing in the list. To make matters worse, the 208 bus route was missing from the list, making it even more difficult to use the app properly.
When we asked the bus driver for help locating our purchased ticket, he was extremely rude and unhelpful. Rather than assisting us with an issue caused by the app, he insisted that we buy another ticket. We ended up paying twice because of a problem that was not our fault.
A ticketing app should be simple and reliable, and staff should be willing to help passengers when issues arise. Unfortunately, neither the app nor the customer service met even basic expectations. I hope significant improvements are made to the app's functionality and that drivers receive better customer service training.

This company is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace. You simply can't trust the timetable of this garbage service. The buses are never on time—never. They're not just 5 or 10 minutes late; sometimes they make you wait more than 30 minutes, or they don't even bother showing up at all.

I've been living in this country for three years now, and since the day I first set foot here, nothing has changed. The service is still absolutely terrible. PURE GARBAGE.

Unreliable Company

So sick of this company between the 103 and 105 routes. I could name 20 complaints about them between showing up whenever they feel like it, driving by stops when the seats are full and not just letting some people stand. I’ve been stranded by this bus company multiple times. Funny how I never have an issue with Go Ahead or Dublin Bus.

Very poor service

Price of the trip is rising, but the service is very poor. To start, the bus station in Letterkenny closes at 8pm, getting the midnight bus to Dublin airport, which is 4 hours trip. The bus has no toilet onboard yet doesn't stop at night except for the pick ups. So could you hold a pee for all this length of time especially arrived at the bus station at 11:30 which is closed mind you, or just piss against the wall in the bus station or onboard in the seat? This is just a basic human needs, not talking comfort and reliable internet as advertised. C'mon guys some improvements are needed instead of just rising the costs blaming the fuel. A customer should get what he paid for. In third world, the buses are getting much nicer and for half the price.
