Scammers, nothing but scammers

My girlfriend has been charged repeatedly for no reason by this company. Her original contract said €18, but that has gradually increased to €40. She tried to cancel this service a month ago and not only did they not give her any consolation for the unknown increase in rates, but they charged her for the cancellation of a phone service - which is the same as the normal monthly rate - for a phone she CANT USE. I went into the local store with her, and the person behind the counter addressed me, who was browsing phone cases, instead of her, waiting patiently by the counter. Clear sexism in the stores if you ask me. They also said in the past that the overcharged amount would be removed from the following months payment, but only half of the overcharged amount was. AI generated phone calls with no real people to talk to, sexist workers in physical stores, hidden fees, false advertising, bills intentionally sent when the store and phone line are closed - so you can’t dispute them, and just straight up lies about the actual rates you agree to.

Avoid them at all costs.

Insane hidden fees.

They have insane hidden fees.

I've tried setting up a contract with them, but then made up my mind within few hours and I immediately contacted them that I want to cancel the contract order.

Despite that, they still charged me over 30 euros "activation fee" (Activation of what???). Then they charged me for "failed payment attempt" where they failed to pull that money from my bank account, and 8.5 euros for "reminder to pay" and all that with fees for "late payment"... while I was still waiting for a reply from customer service whether the fee can be waived as it makes no sense (they didn't activate anything... so why are they charging!?).

This is the worst experience I've ever…

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a telecommunications company avoid them if you can. The mobile app login is a buggy mess. If you enter the wrong password a few times, the system freezes and keeps saying you can try again in 15 minutes. I had my password changed by customer service, but the problem still persists. Fortunately, you can also log in with your phone number. You can’t even see your services properly in the app. For me, sometimes my home internet shows up, sometimes my mobile internet. There’s no proper customer service to contact just AI crap. I went into a store, and no one there knew anything except how to sell you something without your knowledge. For a year, I paid an extra €1.50 a month for a service I told them right there and then I didn’t need, but the salesperson insisted that the first month was free and that it canceled automaticly. You can’t see that in the app either. They draft the contract so it’s hard to get out of, and they list everything as net amounts so you have to calculate the VAT yourself.

The worst internet I have ever…

The worst internet I have ever experienced in Austria!
I had a 500 Mbits fiber optics subscription, and the speed and the quality was even lower than the 50 Mbit simcard internet I had before!

The customer service is maybe even worst than the internet speed itself! there is no phone, just a crazy chatbot with preconfigured limitted answers.

I am very very happy I finally cancelled my subscription with this company.
NEVER recommend

Very very bad company

Very very bad company. Increasing the bills with any reason, and then it is impossible to contact anyone from company. Lack of transparency. I cannot wait that my contract with them ends.

I would gave even 0 stars as they don’t…

I would gave even 0 stars as they don’t deserve it , the biggest scam that you could have as a provider .
My Mom died, they refuse to close the bill and continue to charge a dead person , and now they start offending to take us to the court and place a hand on the property, because my dead Mom doesn’t pay the bill after she passed away !
I could use here really bad wording, however my Mom didn’t raise me this way
Shame on your product policy and how you make money from people that have passed away !

Terrible experience with A1

Terrible experience with A1. My bill suddenly included expensive international calls to places like Paris and even Venezuela – calls I never made.
When I contacted customer service, I received no clear explanation and no real help. As a customer, it feels impossible to challenge these charges.
Even after requesting to cancel my contract and going personally to an A1 shop to complete the process, they kept sending emails claiming additional documents were needed. The cancellation process felt deliberately delayed.
During this time they even added extra charges for supposed “disconnection and reconnection” services that never actually happened.
Extremely frustrating, completely lacking transparency, and one of the worst telecom experiences I’ve ever had. Check your bills very carefully.

Avoid at all costs!!!

Incorrect Billing

The company is the definition of incompetence
So far my experience was:

1)incorrect advice when choosing their services
2) charged me for two separate connections (1 cable internet and 2nd a 5 g internet) even though the technician came to my home and verified that the internet was not possible to have a cable internet.
3) issued me incorrect billing (double billing)
4) They were unable to even collect the money for the double billing with the direct debit resulting in overdue invoices
5)Call center service is terrible with long waiting times and each employee is telling you a different thing and unable to help you
6)sent a collection Agency!!! Even though it was their mistake they double charged me.
7) internet is slow and keeps getting disconected

At this point I am surprised someone didn't take them to court with all this BS that they are doing

I have been a loyal customer for…Dissapointing

I have been a loyal customer for several years; however, since receiving my new Fritz router, I have experienced persistent issues with my internet connection. I have contacted customer service multiple times, but a resolution has not yet been achieved. While some representatives have been helpful, I have encountered instances of unengaged service. For example, one representative instructed me to press a non-existent reset button on my Fritzbox. On another occasion, a representative did not even request my name. I trust that these issues will be resolved promptly.

Unclear fees

To keep it short, they have a good satellite coverage across Europe but the service itself is super awful.
They make you pay more than you expect regardless if you get the carrier package or you make a contract for a device, etc.

Super annoying and not clear from the very beginning. I was a user for 2 years and now I will never become one again. I will never recommend it to others either.

By far my worst experience with a…

By far my worst experience with a telecom company in my life … customer service is completely incompetent and every call results in a different answer. First attempt to get landline internet to my apartment went horribly wrong. After getting a contract in store I was told in 2-3 days I’ll get my wlan box in the mail . It never came , then I was told I have to wait for their technician to install it , they never called . 30 days after I went to their headquarters’s in my city , they cancelled my old contract because it wasn’t made properly and made a new one with a set time and date for a technician appointment. Time for the appointment came , nobody showed up . I used the live chat to ask what’s going on : lady told me they are in their way and will give you a call to let me know . 1 hour after the time for the appointment expired I called their service number on my contact. The person on the phone told me that I don’t have an appointment in their system . Hahaha at this point I’m fuming it’s been more than a month , multiple calls , messages , promises on their side and nothing . Currently I’m still waiting for a new appointment god knows if it’s ever going to happen at this point . I am left speechless!

absolutely useless, and total scammers

This might be the worst internet we've EVER had, customer service? useless, trying to pay? impossible, or always have to pay more even if you have a plan... The web is catastrophic, when you try to write something, it messes up everything... Total robbers as well, they make up excuses so you pay more, it's so expensive and they just want you to pay more and more, even trying to pay is hard, if you click 25€ it goes up to 40€, and also the WORST OF ALL, we have a plan of 9,90€, and we had 7€ on our account, EVERYTIME WE PAY IT JUST KEEPS DECREASING OUR MONEY, TAKING IT AS A TIP! WE PAID 7€ WE PAID 5€ MORE, STILL NOT WORKING absolutely horrible, making up excuses just for us to pay more they actually don't care about customers, not only that when we paid 10€ WHICH WE SHOULDNT HAVE DONE THAT BECAUSE OUR PLAN IS 9,90€ WE JUST DID IT TO HAVE ENOUGH INTERNET, IT WAS STILL 5€, mind YOU, they DIDN'T ANSWER OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Overall, if I could give this company 0 stars I would, worst internet, customer service, payment method, horrible, thank you for the horrible service you have given us, we'll make sure to tell everyone about the horrible service that you give to your customers. :))))) It looks like you don't even know how to make an actual good company, uhm sorry but this is absolutely useless, hopefully people don't come to this company anymore, so they don't receive this poorless service.

witholding funds

witholding funds:
A1 decided i need to pay an additional fee even though i quit the contract. they said this is standard practice due to their system but are now postponing to refund me AND keep promising to repay an incorrect, lower, amount.
if this persists it will require legal action.
this has been promised for months now.

Review for A1 Slovenia

Review for A1 Slovenia - Called customer support twice over trying to get port forwarding - as CGNAT doesn't allow that - first time, I simply asked if they could allow port forwarding, the answer I got was that I had to change it on my router. Second time, I tried to use more exact language, asking if I could get an IP that can be publicly connected to, even specifying if they could removed me from CGNAT, well, they once again said I had to change that on my router. When I asked the "technician" if he even knew what CGNAT was (I'm guessing he doesn't) he just said " have a good day". Now for people who aren't tech literate - or work as a "technician" at A1 - CGNAT is not something that can be changed from a router, it is something that the ISP needs to change.

Currently, I'm just thinking of how I can convey my needs in more simpler terms, I went from Port forwarding to a publicly connectable IP and now I'm thinking if I should just ask for a static IP - as CGNAT is mutually exclusive with it.

I also want to point out that I am not someone who works in an ISP center, I am a teenager. A teenager who seemingly knows more than the experts at A1. God help us all.
