Not responding to emails or phone call
Not responding to emails or phone call. I’ve been trying to cancel a plan that I didn’t even activate. They have sent me a bill which I disputed and are not even allowing me to cancel my subscription, saying I have to call them which I did (paying international rates) and they don’t even pick up. This is a scam, do not even go into their page or attempt to create an account with them as they will set you up with a plan and billing that you didn’t even know was active and will not let you cancel it. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved and may have to open a case with consumer protection company (which costs 30 francs) in Switzerland (I don’t even live there).
Update: they replied saying to use their chat function, which is non-existent. They have also issued me with a 0.15 franc (no joke) bill and I don’t know what for as I have 0 active plans. If I have to pay it, I will have to pay an additional 6 francs to cover their hidden international payment fee (and then probably they will charge me another 0.15 francs next month for the same thing). This is so ridiculous, I wish it were a comedy.

Website malfunctioning and no customer service
I cannot validate the SIM card because the website is malfunctioning and I get absolutely no response through email after 3 working days.
To be specific, a photo of ID is required to activate the card and the "Start Camera" button simply does not work. They don't offer any other method of validation (like uploading a scan of the ID or anything).
And funniest of all, in a reply to another complain here, they suggest to use the "chat function" on their website to contact them, but there isn't one.

Horrible experience, avoid at all costs!
Horrible experience. The plan was advertised as having no contract duration (“0 Vertragsdauer”), yet I was charged CHF 130 for an alleged early termination. This feels misleading and unfair. While the prices may seem attractive, the service and transparency are not worth it. I would strongly advise others to avoid this provider.

Impossible to cancel an order, they ignore emails
I ordered a plan on 5 July, mostly by accident – I just wanted to check the details and suddenly the order was placed. Fine, my mistake. So I did the responsible thing: I didn't upload my ID, the eSIM was never activated, and I sent them a written cancellation the same day.
Since then: complete silence. No reply after several days. The only "official" way to cancel is their phone hotline, which I'd have to call from abroad and pay per minute, and people here write you can't get through anyway.
Today instead of an answer I got an automated email saying "billing has started" – for a service THEY are blocking until I upload my ID. So they want to charge me for something that never worked and never will.
Order no. 03143992. All I want is a simple written confirmation that the order is cancelled. That's it.

Bad internet connection / sometimes work, sometimes not.
Unfortunately, this mobile provider is the slowest in the market.
As we have so many problems with chmobile, for example, I was 3 weeks without the option to call anybody, just the internet was working (slowly), we decided to change the operator. As I discussed with the customer support, they guaranteed me that, because I have so many problems, I can leave this service provider right away. As I did this, I received the bill from chmobile in the end for 129.99chf. (100chf penalty for early determination, 20chf some fees, and 9.99chf regular montly abo.) Now they want to delete this amount??? I will pay this amount if the system was working and if we said that we want to take another provider, but If you guarantee me something, plus I didnt have3 weeks my number online, than is problem with your system in general.. So my recommendation take another one, not chmobile.ch

The handover from my previous provider…
The handover from my previous provider was, due tolno fault of chmobile, a bit more complicated than expected. They handled everything as expected and I'm satisfied with the outcome and the service.

DO NOT RECOMMEND
DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT BUY.
Yesterday was my first day using CH Mobile. I already had a phone number and requested a migration. The promise was unlimited internet, unlimited calls and SMS, and some roaming within Europe. As soon as I inserted the SIM card, it did not work. I had to remove and reinsert it several times, and the only support option is a call center that only starts answering after 9 a.m. Eventually it started working and showed Sunrise as the network. Yesterday it seemed to work normally. Today, however, the network name changed to CH Mobile and the problems started. The internet is extremely slow, voice calls over data have delays and constant dropouts, YouTube videos, Instagram and websites keep interrupting, music takes five times longer to finish and then stops completely. Even when I turn airplane mode on and off, it works again for about one minute and then the problem returns. I am stuck because there is no customer support on weekends, which is extremely frustrating. This is unacceptable in 2026, in Switzerland. It is a shame. I regret switching. For now, I do not recommend taking the risk with CH Mobile, and if the problem continues, I will obviously have to change provider. If on the second day the service quality is already this poor and there is no support, it is impossible to remain a customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT BUY.

Catastophic onboarding process
Catastophic onboarding process. Previous line was disabled as contracted, but ChMobile has not migrated my phone number. I have been 24 hours without connection and no one is able to help. Useless customer support.
Update 07.01.2026 : 48 hours without a subscription. No reply to emails.
Update 07.01.2026 (bis) : support still has no clue what is going on. Still no replies to emails.
Update 08.01.2026 : line enabled and working. 3 full days without connectivity, however. Terrible service.

I transferred 2 prepaid number to Chmobile and hoping that it will take maximum a month to activate.
Received the SIM card pretty quickly but 2 months passed, coming to 3 months. Nothing.
I do not even have any existing subscription that they have to wait! And I change my provider before 2x and most of them takes less then a month.
I have a feeling I will wait till 2026 and longer….

Diary of an eSIM
I'll use this as a diary of my experience.
Start: ordered an eSIM.
Day 1: CHmobile deactivated my contract with my old phone provider. However, I received no eSIM. Contacted CHmobile via phone (with friend's phone, since I have no phone now, clearly) and they said that they don't know what's happening but even if I had an eSIM it would not be active until the next day.
Day 2: Contacted CHmobile via mail. Very fast reply, now I have a ticket number! However, I don't know what to do with that. No further information was given and, of course, still no eSIM.
Day 3: I have received the QR code to activate the eSIM on the website! Unfortunately, when I try to activate it I receive an error message saying to contact my provider. I did, and they told me that everything is fine, but the eSIM still cannot be activated.
Day 4: Sent email with reminder my eSIM does not work. Email sent in the morning, no answer all day.
Day 5: Called the assistance and they said they would send en email with a new eSIM. I’ve received no email but… the eSIM on the website now works! Victory! I even have 5G!

# Emails to assistance: 3

Relief after terrible experience with another company
After struggling for over a week with Mtel, I decided to give up and throw away my Mtel SIM.
CHMobile was a relief after my previous experience. Online ordering and identification worked like a charm, I received the SIM at home within two days, and it was already activated. I’m very happy with my choice so far.
easy, cheap
it was super easy for me to get my line! being new to Switzerland, it helps to get my phone line so easy to understand and to order
Very low price. Everything worked
Not expecting much for the low price, but everything working really great until now. Great customer support!
Cool brand for now
Really cool brand I found on 20minuten! Easy to purchase and nice experience.
