Received a call from Callidus replying to my query about a solar system.
Having supplied my requirements and told him what I needed he immediately told me that I was wrong essentially. When I told him what I expected to use in kilowatt hour usage per day , he didn’t like that so he increased the figure, without any reasoning. when I told him that I needed a ground mount system optimise for winter he insisted that the angle of the panel should be 30° and that I would need 20 panels. This person wasn’t there to listen to me, he was there to try and sell me something. He tried to brush away or deflect any questions I raised .
Because of this, I won’t go near this company and would not recommend them to anyone else.
For the record, I have an engineering degree in electronics, but he tried to tell me that he had been in the business X amount of years and knew best regardless of my situation regardless of my location regardless of the information I gave him, he knew best. Even though he knew very little about my location and wasn’t interested in finding out.

don't bother, bought a leisure battery for my campervan which has stopped working within a year of purchase, have emailed numerous times and not received a single response.

I had to contact Callidus as my order was being delivered to the wrong address (East Sussex) when I needed it to be in mid wales. This was my mistake. They were incredibly helpful, intercepted the parcel just a few minutes before it was due to be delivered and redirected it for me.
Amazing customer service, highly recommended.

Dreadful. I ordered an item with a 2-3 day delivery. It took two weeks of chasing for them to admit it was never in stock. As they couldn't tell me when it would be in stock I asked for a refund. It's been a week and still no refund. They are dodging my emails and calls. Avoid this company.

My husband has odered quite a bit from Callidus and has been happy with his purchases, this was my first time. I ordered an EV charging station to go with our Victron set up. It was delivered by DPD on time and right to the door. Good quality kit, intalled now and works beautifully.

Purchaed Kit 37 3KVa Full Victron kit - Had to replace the solar with 2 x Victron 185w units to fit my Sprinter L1 conversion job. All worked at first switch . Instructions need some clarification for civilians regarding AC neutral into / out of isolator and fuse sizes not stipulated on some pages . Being an Electronics Engineer it was not an issue but a first time builder may generate support queries . Happy with customer service and would buy again .

Order processing and delivery was faultless. The kit is very good, except for the ABS plastic mounts, which I replaced with Renogy z-angles. No instructions were provided with the kit, though it was easy enough to work out.

I called with a query and was assured of a same day call back, however, no phone call ever came.

I would probably advise buying what you want separately and not having plastic mounts it would probably be cheaper.

Their recommended kits are a joke. I filled out their quiz and it recommended me a 3kVA inverter/charger to power a 150W ebike charger. They have the option to include a single 220Ah AGM battery with a 3kVA inverter which is completely unsuitable.

The team at Callidus were immensely helpful and supportive. I cannot recommend this company enough. I purchased a complete inverter and battery system, and they helped me set it up every step of the way, even into the late evening, well beyond the call of duty! Exemplary customer service. Thank you so much.

Professional company offering very good value for money, delivery of my solar batteries and inverter arrived as scheduled.
