Warning: if you're renting from SIXT Canada 🇨🇦 Sixt refused to recognize my CDW insurance at Toronto Pearson, a policy underwritten by Intact Insurance – Intact Assurance , one of Canada's biggest insurers. Nobody told me this during booking. My wife Rania Fazah landed after a 16-hour trip and was held at the counter for 90 minutes, only to be told that in case there is damage to the vehicle, pay SIXT first and chase your insurer yourself. A formal complaint is now filed with Consumer Protection Ontario .

Excellent experience although the process

Everything was extremely well. The agent who handled my case (Pratik) was very clear, helpful, courteous and sharp.
