Review of Plusnet

Absolute bin-fire - liars

Lied to with regard to broadband and I hat Plusnet could actually do/offer. Moving to a rural property with poor connection - told by a Plusnet rep not to worry because the house is in a priority fibre area and they will contact Openreach to look at pushing for installation. Important as two of us work from home, but my mind was put at ease. Called to follow up and was told by someone else this was an outright lie - they can't supply us and they wouldn't reach out to Openreach like that. I'm sure we'll find a solution, but I just hate being lied to by companies like this.

Review of NHS Business Services Authority

Unpleasant experience

Just accepting that I have to pay the penalty change notice, because they will not have any discussion otherwise and their departments won't talk to each other. Despite having evidence on my bank account app that a direct debit was set up, I was told it never happened. Then gaslit by being told it's my fault for not checking that payments were coming out each month for a prepayment certificate, despite there being no notice of any DD cancellation. The woman I spoke to definitely attempted to make me feel like a fraud.

Review of Tails.com

New lease of life

After a couple of months of a dodgy stomach, and a bunch of expensive tests at the vets, someone recommended trying Tails. Within a week it was like I had a whole different dog, healthy stomach, wanting to go out for walks again, so much energy. The cost is really reasonable compared to the food vets were suggesting. Really handy to have it delivered to your door too.

I don't often write reviews

I don't often write reviews, but sometimes you just feel you have to do your bit to warn others...and possibly vent some frustration.

This is actually a review I don't want to have to write, as I love the ethos of this company. However, I would say this is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. I got the phone having read reviews that were truthful about areas it was lacking in, which you could forgive because the ethics made it worth it. What is not forgivable is the constant crashing, restarting, switching to airplane mode during calls, refusing to connect to camera, getting round the airplane mode issue only for the phone to randomly just bin calls (checked with my operator and used sim in other phones and this confirmed there is no issue there), when camera works randomly turning half the image purple (but it's a game of roulette as to which will come out like this), random overheating and battery drain. I think that's it, for now. I read another review on here that basically suggested it's us users being too stupid to understand the technology, but I don't think you need a masters in engineering to know that your phone should deliver basic function... I also find myself asking, how ethical is it to put this sub par product that people pay a lot for on the market.

Credit score potentially affected by this company giving me duff information when I cancelled with them. Told the next direct debit would not need to be taken, so cancelled it, only for them to come back at me with a bounced payment notice. Not impressed.
