Octopus won't fix their botched smart meter installation

Octopus installed a car charger in March this year which worked well. In September they decided to replace my smart meter but during the install they messed up the location of the EES and car charging clamps. Initially my EES stopped charging from my solar panels. Two weeks later they sent someone to fix it who admitted he wasn't trained in how to place the clamps. By trial and error he got the EES charging from the solar panels again but then my car charger started draining the ESS every time I charged the car. Although they originally installed the car charger OK, and it worked until they installed the new smart meter, they are strangely reluctant to send someone competent to get it working properly again. It is 6 weeks since the replacement smart meter was installed and all I get now is e-mails from different people with useless suggestions like re-installing the Octopus app.

Good Customer Service

I have 3 Olight products now, so I am a bit of a fan. I did have a problem with my Olight head torch recently when I started using again and I have to say the customer service from Olight UK was also exceptional.

Groupon hidden expiry dates

Last September (2023) my daughter bought my wife a Groupon voucher for a cooking class for (for two people) for her birthday. Today we tried to redeem the Groupon voucher only to find it had expired in after only 4 months (in January 2024). Nothing on the e-mail my wife received with the voucher mentioned this short expiry date. What a complete rip off and waste of money! Groupon have taken my daughters money and provided absolutely nothing but disappointment in return. Having logged onto the Groupon voucher site for the first time today there is no obvious way of contacting them to make a complaint.

On time and undamaged

On time and undamaged. Only reason why not 5* is that the driver only delivered the heavy packages to our drive and we had to carry them into the house. We later had a mattress delivered by M&S and they insisted on carrying it to the bedroom. That is what it 5* service looks like.

Quality workmanship, but double check before agreeing to additional work

Their maintenance of the car has always been faultless. However, will never completely trust Listers again after I foolishly agreed to an Air Conditioning service when they had sold me the same less than 12 months earlier.

Hopeless website

Hopeless website; it is so slow to respond it keeps timing out and so trying to do anything with your account on line takes forever. Like previous reviews, I have provided meter readings but all my usage is still shown as zero, so I have a massive credit on my account per their system and don't really understand whether I have under or over spent. Will definitely find another supplier when my contract runs out.
