I tried to book a rental with them but received not even a confirmation email from them. A dodgy looking website and suspect way of taking a booking; it does not seem legit.

The staff member I spoke with (Chad, if my hearing was correct) was great. Friendly, polite and very clear. Without him I would not have proceeded.

We landed on a cold a wet evening just before Christmas. The staff were fantastic. As I walked through the door of the cabin (I confess to being disappointed that it was not a log cabin, with fake snow and luminescent reindeer, given that it was four days before Christmas - but, hey, I guess we are all on a budget) Tomas greeted me by name - the lad had clearly been doing his homework. Seated comfortably, we were taken through the process as smoothly as butter on a barber’s shave. Not only this but we felt welcomed into the family atmosphere of the cabin, being embraced in the rapid-fire banter of Abdul, who must have holidayed near Blarney Castle at some stage in his life. I have never had such a positive experience at a car hire pick up - but it got even better and hit the seasonal note we were all feeling. Tomas escorted us to our car: it could not have been more festive or Christmas like. Upon seeing the car (brand new, 147 miles on the old tickety-tock) I felt like Lieutenant Kije, approaching his sleigh and thought that this is what Prokofiev must have been picturing when penning that iconic piece of Christmas music. Tomas gestured with his right hand toward a crystal white, snow white, diamond white Fiat 500.
The car did, indeed, drive like a sleigh, whooshing through Narnia. The difficulty arose when it was time to return the vehicle. Our sadness was palpable as we pulled up outside the cabin but Shia (with remarkable empathy) could feel this and gently helped us with the check out and goodbye. Abdul’s good humour helped lighten our spirits as we made our way to the shuttle taking us to the airport terminal.

Well played, lads! A great team, making a mundane experience an exciting and uplifting part of the journey.
