We purchased the Discovery Sport in 2019 as 3yr old car. Shortly after we experienced the first issues of the exhaust filter. More issues followed with excessive oil leaks, timing belt and turbo. In 2022 we hardly drove the car as it constantly broke down. Plenty of mechanics advised the engine needs replacing. JLR didn't listen. We have now been quoted to repair the gearbox with another huge bill which we declined, as it's financially not feasible. We have now found ourselves in a full dispute with the complaints department of JLR and the situation is unsolved since months. The situation is very stressful and we will certainly never return to JLR.
