Truly awful customer service.

I tried to place some orders before the weekend. The website advised that the Payment had failed so I would need to order again.
So I did order again. To find that all of my orders had gone through and I had been charged for them all with no way to stop them.
So I raised a request for help from Customer Service. Madelene ignored my plea for help and my explanation of what had happened and happily informed me that all of my orders had gone through fine and been dispatched! I responded and said that that wasn't right and that I had placed an order in error, asking them to look at my original request. They have ignored me and offered nothing.
I am livid that I am facing the likelihood of having to pay the full price of returning this order to Sweden, because of their website issue, so I will probably just try and reject the whole lot on arrival so it costs me nothing.

NAC's Engineers are knowledgeable, trustworthy and service focused. I will be using them for all Appliance repairs in the future. Its not often you can phone a company that can get an engineer out the next day AND do the job on a single visit

Great coffee, hard to access customer service

Great coffee, poor comms from Customer service
Ordered a variety of coffee from Rave (Order 884989) including 1kg of a blended coffee. They only sent me 250g by mistake.
Have been trying to contact Rave to resolve for a week via email, form and phone. No one answers or comes back to you.
Hard to complain though when a full 1kg back was subsequently sent to resolve the matter

An awful company that is best avoided.

An awful company that is best avoided.
Remind me of the wild west days of car hire.
I reserved a motor home for a weekend away, then was harrassed by the company to pay up for the full amount, which we reluctantly did 3 weeks ahead of the booking date.
2 weeks ahead of the event a personal crisis meant that we needed to cancel. Landruise would not even refund a penny... even the extra money that they had charged us for using their gas bottle in the vehicle. They hid behind their terms and conditions and felt no compunction to refund us any of the hundreds of pounds we'd paid out well in advance for a service/rental that we cancelled well in advance and had no direct impact on their overheads. I could understand losing your deposit, but the full amount?!?
I would book with any company in future over these cowboys

Did not find leak, poor communication and unengaged engineer

The engineer spent much of the time on his phone making personal calls and sorting out issues with his car. Made no effort to discuss the leak with my parents, who have lived in the house for over 40 years, to get an understanding of where the leak could be coming from. Failed to find anything and communication was non-existent. Still insisted on full payment as no win no fee has loads of get outs, including anything to do with Central Heating pipework. Look elsewhere if you want an effective job

Dishonest marketing and hide key information

Purchased a high spec instant water heater to use for a shower. After commissioning it, it didn't make the water hot. Luke warm on Maximum settings. Contacted Stiebel-eltron for help. Only then did they advise that the device needs a water flow rate below 5 litres per minute to get water above 40 degrees. I'm not even seeing that though. Also, they have advised that the cold water infeed needs to be above 10 degrees. Good luck seeing that in a British winter. None of this key information is available on their Web site or the product technical information. I've spoke to the company but they don't care as they say the product does heat water under the right conditions. So I have the option of cold showers or a warm trickle for a water heater that cost £379. A dishonest marketing led company who sell low spec products dishonestly. Never again and I'd recommend you look elsewhere.

This customer unfortunately bought this product from a wholesaler. As we did not sell the product direct we cannot issue a refund and the dispute in this case is actually with the wholesaler. Never buy a high value item with…

Never buy a high value item with Paypal. You have no protection, they do not apply your consumer rights in line with the law and are not interested in anything relating to warranty issues after point of sale. Basically if anything goes wrong with an item, you are stuck with it unless you go do the impossible and get 3rd party validation of your complaint, which involves more inconvenience and cost to you. Awful. Stick with a credit card provider if you want product insurance and any right of return

Cheap coffee machine prices at cost of awful communication and service

Purchased an Italian coffee machine back in October 2019.Good price, quick product receipt from manufacturer.
There the good news ends. After sales service is appalling and if you have an issue with a product after purchase, you'll wish you had paid that bit more to buy from a reputable retailer.
My machine failed after the manufacturer installed plug melted. No idea if this was a fault with the machine or a power surge. Either way, that meant the item was still live and connected to the mains after it should have blown the fuse at worst. This could have electrocuted me or my family.
After 2 weeks, the company finally advised where I could send the machine to for repair, at my cost of packaging and shipping with no detailed instructions or clear way to see how I would be refunded. After shipping the product I was then contacted by Minipcaffe to advise they had given me the wrong shipping address. More hassle for me to contact the courier and rearrange delivery. Now, after the product being with the repair service for 2 days, Minipcaffe have got in touch saying the packaging was poor, the machine has water in it (and saying I probably left the tank full of water before shipping which I know I didn't!?! ) and potentially the machine has been damaged. Again more hassle for me as the buyer of a £2k coffee machine.
God knows how long I'm going to have to wait now, when or if I will be refunded and what sort of state they will try and return the machine to me in.
Awful experience, condescending approach in communications and a terrible failure to take real responsibility or adequate action.
Do not buy through Paypal if you want any consumer protections, as they have no interest in protecting your consumer rights and left me high and dry in any negotiations with Minipcaffe, who made things up as they went along.

Update:
I did finally get a refund on returning this machine. Minipcaffe have confirmed they are dishonest company with their below reply. I had to send the product back directly to the manufacturer, after the manufacturer agreed to a refund and me constantly asking them for help. NOT Minipcaffe. I had to provide pictures of my packing return and double packed it to ensure adequate protection during shipping, which was acknowledged on receipt. Minipcaffe never handled or processed the return as they do not have operating sites in Europe and only act as a middle man to deal with all orders through 3rd parties, so they are lying here about the state of the returned machine

Some order issues but people work there who care and have great products

I placed an order with Loaf in September, expecting to receive my order at the latest 7 weeks later, as they advertise. After changing my order 4 days after submitting it, then the customer service rep, entering it wrong on the update, I had some longer than expected delays on receiving the goods.
Their production is good but they have some issues in their order processes.
Update: pleased with the proposed follow by Loaf following setting our complaint here. Could be a better ending than initially hoped. Thanks Tori

Dishonest next day delivery

Tried to buy Cybex car seat for next day delivery.
Phoned up two days later to find out cause of delay. Told that stock not available so would have to wait about 12 days!
Small print indicates stock will be sent next day if they have stock but no way to know when placing an order if they have stock. Total waste of my time and created nightmare getting a new child's car seat in time to go on holiday.
Won't use again.

We do indicate stock levels on the product page to give people information to guide purchasing. On a desktop PC it appears in a blue font next to the add to basket button, or on mobile/tablet it is in black right above the add to basket button.

The item in question is one we do not stock regularly as it is collect in store only, and we only tend to order them in as and when customers request them in store. We place them online mostly for advertisement purposes, so it states on the product page collect in store only, as well as only offering customers a delivery type for collect in store.

Delivery options only appear for additional items which in this case is due to the free accessories, and we apologise that confusion has occurred because of this and will be looking at a way to fix it but still offer the free accessories.
