Very disappointing delivery experience
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. My order was not delivered and was returned because the recipient name was provided incorrectly to DHL. I contacted DHL myself and was told that the company had provided a different/incomplete name. This has caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience. I do not want a refund — I want my order to be shipped again, and I have already asked Vision Direct to make sure my full name, “Malaak Ali Karam,” is correctly provided to DHL this time. I hope this issue is resolved quickly.

Incompetent export department
Yet again the export department failed to distinguish between the value of the goods and the shipping cost. As a result the shipment was held up and charged import taxes and local VAT, from which it should have been exempt had they filled out the forms correctly. Worse is that having experienced this previously, I preemptively emailed the customer service department the minute I made the order instructing them to take care completing the Airway Bill accurately - but they ignored this. There is no place to add notes when ordering. I am likely going to refuse to pay the taxes and refuse the delivery. VD will have to pay DHL for shipping and return and refund me. Totally avoidable. Meanwhile I have no lenses. Time to find a more competent supplier.
