Food they'll go wild for
Your cat's a sofa-loaf by day, a little carnivore by nature. Nine thousand years of evolution doesn't disappear just because they're sleeping on your jumper.
Built for meat. Born to be fed well.
Untamed makes food that respects what cats actually are: obligate carnivores built to thrive on real meat and wild fish, not grain, not filler, not ingredients that exist to pad a profit margin. Every recipe uses human-quality meat and fish, nothing artificial, nothing your cat doesn't need.
Our mission
To delight cats with food that respects their untamed heritage. We won't stop until every cat owner knows what goes into their cat's bowl and why it matters. Clean ingredients. Clean bowls. Simple.
We put the planet first
We are Certified B-Corp. All of our cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable. Our meats are ethically-reared and our fish sustainably caught and dolphin-safe.

Exceptional quality
Firstly, our cats love the options from Untamed - and we love the quality, plus the ease of managing the online account to review, make changes to choices, plus recently cancelling one cat's order when she passed away (about to add our new girl!). Recommend.
My cats and I are loving Untamed
My cats and I are loving Untamed! We’ve never had a problem with any deliveries or the order itself, my cats love the food and it’s so much better quality than the pouch brand they used to get from the supermarket. For a little bit more each month my cats are now getting proper meat and fish that contains the things they need and they’re loving it, which means I’m loving it! So easy to adapt your order through your account online as well!
Really great quality cat food
Really great quality cat food. One of our cats has a sensitive stomach,, our vet suggested Untamed food as it has very few ingredients - the good stuff only. Untamed has really helped. Excellent service too.
A great choice for cats. Eco friendly tins and lots of variety.
I’ve got 2 cats and they have been fed several different cat foods. Some they did not like and wouldn’t eat ; some they ate for a while and then decided no, but they have never dismissed Untamed. My cats were strays who found us so obviously would be less discerning. From my perspective I like the fact there is no plastic involved and the food actually looks like food! It’s very easy to choose from the various selections available and the treats are excellent as well. I would find it very hard to find an equal comparison. It’s also very easy to order and change the selection prior to delivery. Highly recommend.
Good quality food, worried about the Tins
The speed and easy of delivery is great, the food itself looks/smells good enough to cook up myself, my baby girl loves it, i dont hear her meow often, but always for the tuna, my only concern is the frequency in which im feeding her food from a tin, i have tried to find out if untamed tin have the same issue as store human tinned tuna (mercury or some chemical that lines the tin isnt good for cats) so im a bit skeptical and worried about that, hopefully untamed will answer that here for us all, she loves the kibble too and didnt take her long to swap from her previous kibble.

Clean bowls all round
Our cats lick the bowl clean with Untamed. Nothing goes to waste. No licking the jelly and spitting the rest on the floor. I don't think I've ever opened a tin of cat food before and thought I could actually eat that!
Happy cats and food that doesn't smell…
Happy cats and food that doesn't smell the kitchen out!

Our cats love this food- never any left overs. They literally lick the bowl clean.

I have two cats both very fussy but they love untamed it’s a little more expensive then other food but worth it to see them clean the bowl
Superb food, quick delivery, happy cat
I did some research for my cat who was developing open sores from possible food allergies I have changed her to a hypoallergenic diet but still wanted her to have some wet food ..I am a repeat customer for this untamed brand, it's purely fish and my cat loves it...her coat is now beautiful so I do believe allergens in food caused her skin issues...Thank you untamed...cost effective too as the food is so compact with fish that she is happily full on half a can alongside her dried Purina.
Food great, Amazon delivery not so...
Echoing what a lot of others say on here - cat loves the food but delivery has gone downhill since switching to Amazon! Every box comes damaged and this month resulted in one of the tins leaking. I have just flagged to customer service (to be fair, when I have contacted them before they have been very helpful) - so hoping to be rectified soon! Since seeing how many other people are having issues with delivery recently, would urge Untamed to look for another delivery partner!

Best possible option
We started feeding our little boy Untamed at 12 weeks old and he has been loving it. His fur got much shinier almost straight away and he had much more energy, even for a kitten that age. Now he's a bit older he has started making it very clear when he thinks it's mealtime. He walks over to the cupboard where we keep all his food and then proceeds to flop on the ground and show his belly. He knows this will get him attention no matter what. And when the Untamed tin comes out he tries to make us hurry up and feed him already. Any time we ask him if he wants breakfast or his dinner he starts excitedly meowing. He finishes every meal with much enthusiasm, which definitely wasn't the case when we fed him a generic brand. He clearly wouldn't want anything else and the ease of having it delivered to our door means we don't want anything else either. I have started recommending Untamed to anyone who asks (and those who don't) as it's really the best option out there for all cats of all ages.
I love my untamed subscription
I love my untamed subscription, I get a reminder each time a new delivery is scheduled and it's so easy to amend the date or quantity and selections if I need to. My cat Bradley is very happy with the variety packs (he's also very pleased with the hairball help licky sachets we added last time)! He's prone to overeating and sensitive digestion, but since swapping to untamed this has markedly reduced.
Brilliant
They have been eating Untamed for months, and my cats love the food and haven’t gotten bored of it at all.
They both had bad stomachs before, but since being on untamed that has completely cleared up. You can tell the food is great quality.
Picking which tins of food to get is easy on the website, and delivery’s are always prompt and in good condition.
I would recommend to any cat owner.
Was not clear trial would lead to subscription
I bought a trial and it was not clear that it was a subscription. The subscription renewal of £58.80 came out of my bank account at 4am, and even though I cancelled it at 7am (as soon as I woke up) I was told I can't get a refund as it has already been dispatched.
It's just not a fair or reasonable business practice. It feels like they reach into my back pocket and take my money and make it difficult for me to get back.
The product itself is good, but the business practice is total bs and shows that behind the happy optimistic branding there's snide practices making it difficult for the consumer once they've signed up to a trial.

Updated review
⭐ 1 star — Subscription continued after my cat died randomly four months later – £58.80 taken
I am extremely disappointed with Untamed.
I signed up for a trial subscription for my cat Frank and believed I had cancelled it afterwards. Sadly, Frank died at the beginning of May, four months before this latest payment.
Despite this, the subscription remained active and £58.80 was taken from my bank account, and I only discovered what had happened when I logged into my account and saw that another order was being prepared.
The most frustrating part is that I could not find an obvious way within my account to cancel the subscription. When I contacted Untamed, they actually acknowledged that the cancellation facility could be made clearer.
I have now been told that the order has already been dispatched and that I need to refuse the delivery or arrange a collection before they will refund my money.
So, to be clear: I believed I had cancelled the subscription, my cat died four months ago, £58.80 was subsequently taken from my bank account, and I am now expected to deal with the delivery and returns process to get my own money back.
I find that completely unacceptable.
I have asked Untamed to simply refund the £58.80 and arrange collection of the unopened food themselves. At the time of writing, this matter remains unresolved.
I will update this review depending on how Untamed ultimately deals with my refund.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars
UPDATE – Issue resolved and credit where it’s due
I originally left a 1-star review after £58.80 was unexpectedly taken from my account for a cat food subscription I genuinely believed I had cancelled. Sadly, my cat Frank had died four months earlier, so discovering an unexpected payment and having to deal with an unwanted order was particularly upsetting.
My initial contact with customer service left me very frustrated. I was told that the order had already been dispatched and that I would have to refuse the delivery or arrange a collection before I could receive my refund. I felt that the responsibility for sorting out the problem had been placed on me, when I genuinely believed the subscription had already been cancelled.
I then dealt with Joel from the customer care team, and this is where my experience changed completely.
Joel took the time to properly read through everything, checked the account history, acknowledged my concerns and personally sorted the situation out without dragging it back and forth. He cancelled the subscription, processed the full £58.80 refund, and confirmed that I didn’t need to return or refuse the food.
He also apologised properly for how the situation had initially been handled and acknowledged the difficulties I had experienced with the cancellation process.
I have to be honest: Joel’s handling of this deserves 5 stars. He was kind, understanding and actually listened. This is exactly the kind of response I would have hoped for from the beginning.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars overall rather than 5 is because the initial experience was genuinely poor and caused unnecessary stress at an already difficult time following Frank’s death. I also think the initial response should be addressed internally so another customer doesn’t have to go through the same thing before getting the help they need.
That said, Untamed did ultimately put things right, and I want to give proper credit to Joel for making sure of that.
I’ve also been given the option to keep the food rather than return it, which I really appreciate. I’ll be donating it to English Barn Cats, where it can help feed cats who desperately need it.
Thank you, Joel, for taking ownership of the situation and resolving it properly. Your personal handling of this is the reason I’ve changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars.

My cat Mia has loved this simple…
My cat Mia has loved this simple chicken wet food since she was a kitten. No weird additives, just straightforward ingredients and it agrees with her so well. She has a healthy coat, solid energy. It’s been comforting to know she’s eating something wholesome and it actually keeps her well.
Very fussy and old cats- love the pate
Very fussy and old cats- love the pate. The food looks better than some human food. Excellent quality
