The customer service focus of a brick

If there was a way of writing a more negative review than 0 I would. Toll is a company that has absolutely no regard for their customers and when you contact them for support they treat you like an absolute idiot.

Their business model seems to work off a model that they can say anything no matter if it's true or not just to get a customer off the phone because each time you contact them.

After seeing all these reviews I really think along with these reviews people need to raise complaints with consumer affairs and really highlight the useless customer focus toll has and how ultimately they are a horrible courier service.

First they make you wait all day to ultimately never show up, then they make you wait all day and claim they attempted delivery but surprisingly no one shows up as visiting on security cameras, then they say you can pick it up from the depot and that i should get a text, then no text arrives. Then I contact customer service and they say its being loaded onto a truck to be taken to the depot even though tracking says its already there. Then you say its a mistake and that I should wait for the depot delivery. Then when I ask how long i should wait you said there is no timeframe available but ill be notified when its out for delivery.

At this point I feel Tolls customer service will just say whatever and its never a real reflection of the status of the delivery.

Was notified that my address was not accessible.

Was notified that my delivery was on board for delivery to my home today.
Then mid afternoon I received email from TOLL saying the delivery couldn't be completed because there was no access to my property. That claim is total rubbish, clear access exists from the street to my front door, and authority was given to leave goods at the front door. Just another instance of laziness/couldn't bother attending ? I really wonder why AMAZON persist in using TOLL. I think AMAZON is an honest on line shopping service, but the choice of using TOLL as a delivery service is a bad mistake that is undoubtedly driving away customers due to the shabby TOLL performance.

they gave my parcel to a neighbour i didnt give permission or authority in any way she just went over and said she would take it and she took it. only becaus i was searching for it i found out she had taken it why bother to have any security its the opposite of security. i wont ever do an online delivery which involved toll ever again as i prefer it to go to my po box or the suite connected or parcel locker not just dumped here to some unauthorised person

Always a non-delivery or a incorrect delivery, or missing items.

Was always receiving deliveries on time, with other delivery companies then Ebay and officeworks decides to use Toll possibly due to thinner margins, and their new contract driver, toll, pretend to deliver their items, but security camera shows no one ever approaching the building at the times they mention, and then the hassle of having to chase them for non-deliveries. If I knew it was such a hassle I'd rather just go order from another company that doesn't use Toll. How is this place being operated? I feel like I need to set up odds each time at work whether the delivery will be successful or not when Toll Global Express is doing the deliveries.

Pathetic waste of money and they’re all incompetent

Honestly wish I didn’t have to give them one star. Spent a fortune having equipment sent to my home express - 3 days. Get notification at noon package is delayed. Ring them ten times to try to arrange for me to collect from their depot. Staff don’t even know they have a depot in Molendinar which they call Ashmore. Told them I had a job that required that equipment tomorrow and I needed it by 7am. Due to the time it would take me to get there it was impossible but possible that I could get a taxi or uber nearby to collect in time. “Sorry can’t do!” Had a lady tell me they could get it to a location I could collect from by 7pm - nope joint closes at 5:30pm. All I heard were the same “sorry miss” they’ve been trained to say. Paul Little ex-CEO would be appalled at how this company has turned out!! I’ll never use them again!

Horrendous

Horrendous. Avoid at all costs. JB HiFi uses this company. I paid for express delivery (next day). When I rang this delivery company, they said it would be at least another week before I received my parcel. They were prepared to accept more money for a faster delivery, but not the responsibility of actually delivering the parcel. Appalling. As well, do not make any online purchases from JB Hi-Fi. To add insult to injury I live one hour away from where the parcel is currently located. Why will it take at least another week to deliver it?

I paid for delivery from Victoria to my home address. The seller on eBay organized the delivery. Sent to Bathurst 40 kms away.
It was unbelievably difficult to speak to someone.
Computer generated lady a complete waste of time. After 45 min wait I spoke to a lady who I believe was overseas and told her I cannot find the address in Bathurst or a phone number. After 10 minutes she went away and after a while the call was disconnected I then contacted the seller, and they informed me that they tried to deliver which we know isn't true. I now have the address in Bathurst. Would definitely not recommend. Try and do a search for where they are in Bathurst . Why don't they try and contact you or at least give out the address??

Its unbelievable lazy workers

Its unbelievable lazy workers. Waiting 80 truck drivers for paper stamps for hours. They talking between each other without stress. The problem is not that they work without stress. They dont have a clue that the drivers are stressed by driving time, working time, boss, customer etc. Its not a good match, and they dont care. They should work in kommun where they can relax and work.

Parcel lost at their warehouse and Toll does not care

A parcel from my company has been delivered to Toll Global in Rotterdam, for some other party / ship. I have a confirmation from GLS it has been delivered but anyway Toll claims that they have never received the parcel.
When trying to contact their staff about it I was constantly rebuffed. Their employee Julio Bernveldt was extremely unfriendly and rude to me. I understood they are big company and do not want to bother with small issues like this, but I simply cannot understand how someone can be so arrogant and careless and how a serious Company in developed country can function like this?!

Toll has no idea where it's parcels are. Or when you'll get them.

I'm obviously not alone when it comes to my feeling towards Toll.

They were due to deliver a stroller I ordered on Amazon by Friday 15 Aug. They failed to do that.

At one stage they said I could collect it from their airport premises (an hour and a half away) or a local hub.

Yet they said the hub would not take the parcel because of it's size but later said it was there to be collected - but it wasn't.

Today's suggestion from Toll was to have it sent to the hub ... or my place but they couldn't guarantee it would be today.

Then Amazon kindly organised for it to be 'on a truck' today (18 Aug) but after waiting home for most of it, it wasn't. It was still at the airport.

Their customer service people were pretty good but I had to chat with them online around half a dozen times, half of the time being kicked out of their system. In fact it's interesting that in this day and age of knowing exactly where your taxi or food delivery is you can see it on your phone - but Toll is yet to discover that even though they presumably scan things all the time.

The problem you have when you want to talk with them is when you want to start an online chat, it asks you a lot of questions which you have to repeat, repeat and repeat. Before being booted off.

It also seems Toll's customer service people try to help you but their depot people don't.

So I have now cancelled the Amazon order. Amazon were great but they have now lost a sale.

They need to give Toll the boot.

Never, ever use them.

Appalling Service.

A component for a repair job ordered from a regular Sydney supplier on Friday the 11th July was picked up by Toll and transported to Brisbane arriving the next day 12th July. I was hoping to have it maybe 15th, nope, it stayed there for the next 13 days. The tracking never changed, I did 3 live chats with toll because you can no longer phone anyone and after the last chat I realised that who ever I was chatting to must have been in a Phillipines call centre due to the bad grammar. After 3 chats 4 days apart I was told that it had been escalated and someone would contact me with in 24 hrs on 2 of the chats. I had the supplier trying to chase it from their end to no avail either.I have filled out their complaint form on their website with no reply as they obviously just don't care. After almost 2 weeks and still no correspondence and tracking not changing the item finally arrived at 4pm yesterday 24th to my surprise. The supplier was about to send me another part which I hurriedly called to cancel.
Thanks for absolutely the worst service Toll I have ever experienced.

Consistently poor service

Consistently poor service. Do not deliver with the excuse that no one is home when the property is occupied. Happens regularly. No attempt to make contact by knocking on the door. Old school concept that the Jehovah Witness can manage with ease, and they are not a logistics company.

Have my parcel at the local depot…

Update: Here we are 10 days later. Amazon sent me some items 2 days after this review and used TOLL again, and again the local TOLL depot (Rockhampton but I think is actually in Gracemere) has had my parcel for well over a week. Delivery was meant to be yesterday. I am sick of this company. Stop using these companies to save a few pennies folks.

Have my parcel at the local depot (Rockhampton) for a week now. When I inquire where it is as the final day for delivery is today and no notice of it being out for delivery via tracking just get told "Sorry, it might be there tomorrow, maybe. Keep checking the tracking. bye"

This happens every time when I am sent items via TOLL. What would take a couple of days with most couriers or Australia post, always takes 10x as long with TOLL.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I'm going to avoid any company that uses them in future when possible. Which can be a challenge as Amazon sellers seem to be using them more and more these days.

Seriously, these guys have replaced Fastway/Aramex as Australia's worst delivery company. And that's saying something. Aramex has actually been getting good with deliveries recently, TOLL should take a lesson from them.

Ridiculous delivery times, worse that they hold your items for so long when I literally live a 5 minute drive from their location. Seriously over a week for what should have been a next day delivery once they receive the items.
And the items were sent and being received in the same state, not like these are international deliveries. (I get things from China faster via regular AusPost than I do locally through TOLL)

Any other courier I'd have my items already. Like a week ago.
I'm a patient guy, but how long TOLL takes is just ridiculous.

Bonus complaint: My last delivery from TOLL, some sensitive electronic equipment, on a Saturday, where both I and my wife were home and front door wide open, they didn't knock, and did they put the box in one of the many dry areas available?
Nope, put the box down on top of a puddle. And the box looked like it had been in a game of footy....

Thankfully the contents were ok.

It's like this every damn time with TOLL.

Never had a delivery on time with them.

Also, also. Good luck with tracking. If you google Toll Tracking. The TOLL sites? Your tracking numbers will not work. Instead you have to go to some myteamge site, which has almost nothing on it about being related to TOLL. Backwards is the only way to describe it.
