Tesco WSM awful pharmacy

I made an appointment for the Weston-super-Mare pharmacy service, to have a consultation with a pharmacist. I arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment and was asked to wait. 15 minutes later I was still waiting so I asked again and was told I would be seen straight away. You’ve guessed it. 10 minutes passed and I was still waiting. There were about 6 staff at the pharmacy and a growing queue. They were all standing around computer screens laughing. I’m sure they were working, but they certainly weren’t paying attention to their customers. I was going to pay privately but the service was considerably worse than the NHS. I left without having my appointment. This is truly a dreadful pharmacy.

I will never go back to Tesco

I will never go back to Tesco. They are, without doubt, the worst supermarket in the UK.
The latest in a chain of problems. I was in Tesco, had various club card items. Realised I hadn't got my key tag. Any other supermarket the phone app displays the card details and doesn't actually need a card. Morrisons displays the scan code without even logging in. Tesco, unless you have the card you can't even access the scan code in the app. Their instore reponse, bring your reciept next time! I dumped my basket and walked out.
I have registered my card in the app so many times. It drops the registration on a regular basis and there is no workaround. I have fallen foul of this numerous times.
I have never been to Tesco with a list and successfully got everything on it. I always have to go elsewhere. I can complete the list in Asda, Sainsbury and Morrisons virtually every time.
The local Tesco supermarket has a fuel station. It only opened a few months ago. I don't even try looking for fuel there anymore. It is a very convenient location but out of about 6 or 7 visits, I have filled up once. Pumps closed for various reasons on most visits.
This Tesco put a roundabout in to ease access to there store, it has increased the already horrendous traffic jams on major round.
The Tesco's local in the village is not better! Last time I went, 6pm, they were refusing everyone entry, no reason, staff present and storeopen untill 11pm but not allowing entry.
Sadly, the 3 I use (Harrogate, Killinghalk and Ripon) are in convenient locations but I would rather walk/drive the extra distance to a decent supermarket.

Whoosh go the clubcard prices

I got some free Whoosh vouchers (as long as £15 spent) so thought I'd try it. The first thing that I noticed was that the items that I wanted either had their club prices removed or were unavailable. If I added them to a normal delivery, the prices and availability all went back to normal. Our deliveries come from our local store so there's no good reason that I can see. You can make your own mind up whether this is a rip off or not. The 'free' vouchers are now in the bin.

Massively inconvenienced

Received an email this morning from tesco saying our monthly food shop (£300) which is due tomorrow has been cancelled but doesn’t state why, rang them up and all the guy said was i don’t know whats going on, this is above my pay grade….. wow so now we have had to think of an alternative. We dont drive and we live in a rural area so that doesn’t help the situation,

Prepare to be disappointed.

Most medium stores now have a wide choice of brands selling identical food types - but the range and quality of foods is actually very narrow and often ultra processed awful quality stuff. You want decent European foods; best go elsewhere. Tesco have sunk from being a great supermarket to a lost place neither budget store nor a quality food retailer.

Tescos are the lowest of the low

Tescos are the lowest of the low. Staff are misreable, food is overpriced, the food is terrible quality and the stores are dirty. Then on top of that they are buying out local stores and ruining peoples lives by putting them out of jobs while theypush theyre complete garbage on people. Sooner tescos goes into administration the better. Dont understand why anyone ever goes there. No issue with the other supermarkets just tescos.

Tesco has gone down in my opinion

As a long term customer of Tesco's I've noticed how it's really gone down the pan. I've got a yearly subscription which ends in December and I won't be renewing it. I've often had to return things to the store after my online delivery to my home. What's the point in delivering near sell by date food that should be in the reduced section. Then I'm having to return it to the store. Never again shopping elsewhere now.

The superstore in rutherglen Glasgow …

The superstore in rutherglen Glasgow is conducting bank fraud from your cards. After picking shopping we went to the self service checkouts second one on the right. Scanned groceries and put card into pay comes up failed transaction. Spoke to Sharyn deputy manager and explained she said it was a ghost payment and Tesco's hadn't received the payment. We called the bank and were informed that the money had definitely went to Tesco's after explaining to Sharyn she kept going on about payment being in the eather.we said we didn't care where she said the payment was and explained that the machine for paying had taken the money and we wanted it returned as she wouldn't let us leave with the groceries. Funny how Tesco's doesn't have a phone number for customer complaints or head office there is a number advertised but once called it tells you that the number is no longer in use. Can't get a manager because suprise suprise they're on holiday and don't have a stand in manager and Sharyn has no idea how to deal with the public constantly jamming her phone in my face saying read that. I kept telling her i didn't want to read anything. They could have called my bank and been told that the payment had indeed gone to Tesco's. Instead threatens to call police and leave the store. Worst thieving store in Britain and I still want to talk to someone from head office and the store manager and not Sharyn the worst deputy manager ever . - : Update: well it's the next day and Tesco's admit that they had indeed taken over £70 payment for groceries and that their machine the one second from the right hand side and flagged the payment as needing review and said payment pending and my bank was correct in stating that Tesco had taken the payment and the money. They refund the money and offer a poxy £3 or £5 bouquet of flowers and before I know it the wife accepts them. After the indignation of neighbours and strangers stood and watched us have to leave the groceries as if we couldn't afford them when the fact of the matter was Tesco's had indeed been paid for the groceries and this isn't an individual event that Tesco's has a name used in-store for this exact same event that they call it a ghost payment. A name that neither myself or my bank had ever heard of but Sharyn the deputy manager told me that was the designated name for when this type of incident occurres and Tesco's thinks it is worthy of a bunch of flowers. Shocking. If I could i would remove the one star and award none but the minimum is one.

Tags left on items

I left the store not realising I still had security tags on the items of clothes that I bought (the alarm didn't go off). I returned to the store the next day to explain what had happened, and that I didn't select to get a receipt at checkout as was happy with my purchase. The assistant was very understanding and removed the tags for me.

Bought an item on Tesco Marketplace

Bought an item on Tesco Marketplace, paid by C/C to Tesco account. Item, a Cheeseboard, was not the cheapest on line but with the cost and Tesco connection I was confident the product would live upto my expectations. Item arrived by post, first attempt to cut cheese the wire cutter guillotine was unfit for purpose, cutter fell apart. Contacted Tesco Marketplace immediately to return item, phone number of supplier was ansaphone, no response, eventually contacted by email. I had to request a return Royal Mail return certificate, returned item , same day , received email back 4 days later on Tesco Headed document stating the return was not accepted , no explanation. Have contacted Tesco Marketplace twice for further information and still 'colleague will call you."Very unprofessional Customer Service, , very disappointing product , my experience and time spent on the phone and keyboard feels a complete waste and not what I would expect from a brand leading retailer TESCO.I am still awaiting a prompt and fair outcome to this depressing experience.

Home delivery...no other help!!

I ordered a home delivery as there were a couple of items only tesco have..so with being unable to go home delivery was the only option. As we usually use Ocado for home deliveries I was surprised at the difference in services.. Tesco bring a big crate and deposit it at the front door..no further. The driver is not allowed to help you, company rules, no matter how pleasant they are they just stand there until you finish. OCADO on the other hand deliver your order in returnable bags..10P each upon return..the driver will put it wherever in the house you wish it to be placed. Chalk and cheese services... I won't be using Tesco home delivery again.

New clubcard vouchers are a disgrace

New clubcard vouchers are a disgrace. The cashback I've earned is now split into four weekly vouchers with a one week expiration date on each one. Forcing me to come back and shop in store week after week or lose the perks I've earned. Including fuel I spend £500 a month with Tesco, and this is the contempt with which they treat me? This is the last time I ever shop here.

Complete waste of time items missing but not refunded

This time Tesco have completely lost me as a customer. So ordered a small click and collect so I could collect straight from work. Easy enough you would think? Well actually know. So I have large superstore less than a mile from my home address. However it turns out they don’t do click and collect and nearest one is 4.5 miles away irritating but nothing mayor. So now the fun begins the click and collect is from the distribution centre. So hidden on an industrial in the end of nowhere the postcode tries to take me through a gated of premises ( so direction should be made clear on ordering). Signage to the store from that point is well non existent so you just feel lost on a massive industrial estate when you find it (eventually) you think to yourself well at least they will have everything in stock as it’s the distribution centre. But get home to find items missing and items substituted. But missing items still charged for( not substituted just missing). Staff were friendly enough on site and are aware of the problem finding the place but it’s out of their hands. So from now on I’ll be using Asda as there is no way I’m going through all that ever again
