I had to reorder...

I usually do not purchase anything from Target but some of the things on my grandson's Xmas list were Target brand items, so I went online & placed an order to be sent to my grandson's address. I received an email stating that 2 packages from the order had been delivered. I checked with my grandson's mom and she only had an Amazon packaged delivered & nothing else.
I went back to the order to see what happened and saw that the 2 packages had been delivered to a completely different state. 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼 I asked for a refund back to my original payment method and they quickly took care of it. I then had to go and purchase the same items again. This time they are being sent out by UPS instead of OnTrac & the rest of my first order is arriving from the USPS on the same day. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼that they arrive in the correct state to the correct address.

Scamming people out of tax money

Scamming people out of tax money. Went on line to purchase nasal rinse, TAXFREE in PA, and was charged tax. Called customer service at store before going to pick up and was told they couldn’t help me with the tax, I had to pay even though it was non taxable. I cancelled order and purchased at Walmart in Lebanon, PA. It was less expensive and they didn’t charge tax.

Delivery and Dropped Items.

The delivery experience is horrible. Today, October 31, 2026, I am still waiting for a Halloween dvd ordered before the 23rd. They use the UPS/USPS combo which guarantees I will probably will not see my order for a while, if at all. While trying to track the dvd I discovered a $2.00 shipping charge. This was due to an item that disappeared from the total order and put me under the free shipping threshold. Unfortunately I did not print the order (when I ordered) or the email confirmation so I have no proof but I always order enough to get the free shipping. On Target's website they break the order down into multiple invoices for when items ship(?). Nowhere did I see the complete order and an explanation as to why an item was dropped. If it is there it is well-hidden!
When things go right you get items in a reasonable amount of time but more often than not items are "delayed" or just dropped from order.

Defective sofa from Target—unreasonable…

Defective sofa from Target—unreasonable return requirement

I purchased a Dyonery 81-inch sleeper sofa through Target.com. After unpacking it and attempting assembly, I discovered that the screw holes needed to attach the hardware were missing, preventing me from completing assembly as instructed.

When I contacted Target, I was told that I must put the sofa back in its box and transport it to a store myself to return it.

This is a large, bulky piece of furniture. Requiring me to repackage and transport a sofa that arrived defective places an unreasonable burden on me.

I am requesting a full refund and pickup arranged at no cost to me, without requiring me to rebox the sofa or transport it to a store.

I would like Target to provide a practical resolution and written confirmation of the refund and pickup arrangements.

I don’t trust target pricing

I don’t trust target pricing. Consistently one price on line a more expensive one in store!
I called customer service because I was entitled to the online price.
The Ai service machine with the human voice told me o was entitled although I bout it on line twice!
I had to ask to speak to a person.
Thankfully that real person reviewed what I asked a gave me my discount!
Such confusion bordering on scam!!
Why do o have to jump through so may hoops ? I spend a fortune there.
Very devious pricing.

I ordered 2 items online for pickup

I ordered 2 items online for pickup. I go to pickup the next day. I walk in and 2 cashiers are huddled together at customer pickup/customer service. I wait for them to finish chatting before 1 greets me. I tell her I have a pickup she tells me to go to next register and scan pickup barcode....what?! I stand there struggling with a barcode and a scanner that's not picking up. After a few minutes another employee comes up she is actually trying to help. She tries to show me how to scan the thing, then says maybe turn off your wifi it makes it harder. Then I tell her I will never do another online order. She tells the other 2 who are having trouble with finding other packages to assist me. Won't be back Target.

Sent back and forth over a defective bed, with no resolution

I paid $202.43 for a GREENSTELL Queen Bed Frame through Target’s marketplace. After approximately four months of normal use, it developed electrical problems and structural instability.

Target refused a refund because the return window had closed and directed me to ARESON for warranty support. I provided the requested evidence. ARESON then confirmed it had no replacement parts or bed available and could not process refunds for Target orders, so it directed me back to Target.

I shared that response and my evidence with Target and asked for my complaint to be reopened and escalated. Target again refused a refund and told me to contact the manufacturer.

I followed the process Target gave me and still have no resolution. Being sent back and forth over a bed with electrical and structural problems has been incredibly frustrating.

Piss poor management

A mother of one of my friends was harassed by a group of teenagers to the point she became scared and reported them to the manager who said she needs to get tougher. This was at a target in the KC area.

I ordered a chair from Target

I ordered a chair from Target. It was delivered without attachable legs. Target customer service said too bad if I want my money back I have to bring it to a store or ups. I am a single older woman-this will cost me $40 for a $150 chair that I could never use in the first place. Forget about customer service. A joke. Here is a cute if the box I am supposed to carry. @target.

looking for an insulated 8 ounce cup

I went online looking for an insulated 8 ounce handled cup. Target had it. "Good news if you order within 2 hrs and 38 minutes you can have it (screen shotted btw) in 2 days." I ordered within the time frame. Exactly then. When tracking shows up after label created (no refunds givens)....5, 5 days later it was expected to arrive. No storm fronts, no emergencies with weather. I remember those days during the pandemic of 2020 when companies lied and said they had it to beat competitors, knowing, full well, they didn't. I could have already been drinking from it from somewhere else!!!

HORRIBLE ON LINE ORDERING EXPERIENCE

First, there's no communication to me as the customer regarding my order. Nothing. I go to the website and I'm unable to even get a tracking number. The site says delivery today and it did not get delivered. Customer Service tells me that I should have shopped in person, but what I ordered is not in the store. She checks into my order and said there's a delay and she can't give me any other information about my order. Failure by Target in every way. I'll NEVER order or shop with Target again.

The store is OK, web site is worthless

The store is OK. The web site is useless trash. When I tried to log in, using two different browsers, I got this trash: "Something went wrong on our end. You can try again later or send a report to let us know about this issue."

Lack of a follow up.

Purchased a Braun Coffee maker that caused the circuit breaker to trip in my home. Contacted Braun and they were no help at all! Target customer care sounded promising - but never followed through with me regarding a replacement coffee maker that was still within the manufacturer's warranty period. Won't be purchasing Braun products again!!!

I want to thank Manager Kristy at the Belleville Crossing Target in Belleville, IL. for SAVING ME today. I had terrible difficulty using a target gift card I received from Impact Life after donating blood. I also thank the checkout cashier who tried and tried to help me use the ELECTRONIC gift card. It was confusing and I think unnecessarily complicated. KRISTY WAS ABLE TO ASSIST ME IN USING THE GIFT CARD. She went through ALL the extra trouble of returning each of my many items at her desk. Then she activated my gift card and re-charged ALL my many items. She made sure the totals were the same and completed my transaction using the gift card. It took quite a while to do this and I could tell Kristy was busy. But she was absolutely SO SWEET, KIND, HELPFUL and she knew exactly what she was doing. It may not sound like a lot to you but TO ME IT WAS PRICELESS. I was at MY WITS END. THANK YOU SO MUCH KRISTY FOR HELPING ME, BEING SO KIND AND MAKING MY DAY! GOD BLESS YOU KRISTY!
