Some companies are not reliable. Just share my real experience with Isolux. My case went like this:
1, Got 3 quotes from Solarmarket in August. After discussing and comparing solutions and prices, I especially sent an email to Isolux to confirm whether they have their own CEC-certified electricians and installers. They replied YES.
2, So, on 12/08/2025, I signed an agreement with Isolux and paid the deposit $500. The key points of the confirmation email from them included: They will complete the installation before 30/09/2025; All installers are CEC-certified professionals. They do not work with subcontractors…
3, Because time was close to the end of September and no one contacted with me, I email to them to ask when they would come to install it on 24/09/2025. No any reply.
4, On 01/10/2025, I sent another email to ask them whether they had a new timetable or they thought it was too hard to install it. And I could change the plan or cancel the installation. One guy replied they would update me the next day.
5, However, no one replied me to give any update or further information about it after that. I also contacted the salesman on WhatsApp, and he replied me on 23/10/2025 that they were waiting for the installers to reply for the installation date as they were very busy…. So, I was confused about how they said they had their own installers and did not work with subcontractors.
6, Due to their reply, I cannot believe they could finish the installation in the near future. More importantly, even if they install it someday, I cannot believe they will provide any customer services.
7, According to their refund policy, clients can refund if installation is not finished within 6 weeks after the target installation date. On 10/11/2025, I sent an email to them to cancel this agreement and refund the deposit. One guy replied to ask my bank account detail. Today 14/11/2025, I haven’t received the refund yet. I have no idea when they will refund me.
I hope this experience could give you some ideas for how to choose a company to install solar system.

Some improvement
Some of the organisations didn’t respond quickly enough and a couple didn’t even bother to contact me. I had to get other companies to quote via your system.
You need to get providers to respond and provide quotes. You also need to get them to follow up once they quote.

The "ultimate Solar Guide" they offered was excellent as an introduction to understanding what the installation of a solar system involves. The 2 quotes received (to Date) were detailed and gave me a good indication of the solar products on the market.

Stop passing on details to cowboy companies
Thanks for the referrals,however some of these people are cowboy salesmen, don’t listen send incorrect quotes and annoy the hell out of you expecting a decision right there and then.

Somewhat disappointed
I was disappointed that I only received one quote, when there were supposed to be three. This may well have been beyond Solar Market's control, but disappointing nonetheless.
The blame should not necessarily fall on Solar Market, who have assured me that they have sought other quotes and may have been let down by a 3rd party.

I chose the most expensive quote…
I chose the most expensive quote Expecting that this would give me the best quality and service. 30% deposit was required which I paid. I was continually ringing to see when installation was scheduled. Had issues with Synergy which I sorted. Then when finally I go an installation date a full payment was requested which I did not pay. At this stage I was very nervous about the company I had chosen and was concerned that they would not even turn up. Installation was done after 8 weeks which I think is not satisfactory. After installation I paid the bill in full and I am still waiting to have the installation fully completed. The inverter is still not linked so I can access output of the unit. I was told this would be done within 2 days. Have already called and the same answer given. It is now 13 days after installation and I am still waiting. Don’t like to leave reviews but this was not an easy or pleasant experience
