Beautiful sofa, disappointing quality and customer service
The sofa was beautiful, and I genuinely loved how it looked in my home. The delivery was also efficient, which is the reason I have given one star.
Unfortunately, the quality has not matched the appearance. Despite looking lovely, the sofa has proved to be very poor quality and has suffered repeated structural failure.
The original sofa frame failed within the first year and was replaced. Unfortunately, the replacement frame has now failed again after a relatively short period of normal household use.
I’m someone who takes great pride in my home and my belongings, and I look after my things carefully. The sofa has not been misused, subjected to jumping or anything unusual. I have provided photographs and explained this clearly.
Despite the repeated structural failure, Home Detail are asking me to arrange and pay for an independent report to prove that the problem is an inherent or manufacturing fault. I find it extremely disappointing that, after the same issue has occurred twice, the responsibility is being placed on me as the customer to prove the cause and pay for an independent assessment.
I loved the look of this sofa, but unfortunately, looks are not enough when the quality and durability are so disappointing. The way Home Detail have handled my complaint has made the whole experience even more frustrating.
Beautiful sofa, efficient delivery, but sadly very disappointing quality and customer service when things went wrong.
I would not purchase from Home Detail again.

Very happy with this company
Very happy with this company. I bought an 8 seater garden set with table. It was delivered within a week! There was a slight bend in one of the legs. The company immediately offered either £100 off or a replacement. The support was excellent. Great communication and very helpful. I’d thoroughly recommend this company to anyone. I’m certain I’ll be doing business with them again.

Can’t contact support
We purchased the Bahia garden set and it’s really lovely but when unpacking we noticed that the base of the table had a dent in it and top of the table has some scratches I’ve tried emailing your support email but it keeps coming back unable to deliver and being at work I don’t have time to call.

Lovely furniture
We recently bought the ‘Bora’ outdoor furniture set, which we were very excited to receive given how beautiful and sturdy it looked! I bought the Marbella garden lounge set from the Shotts warehouse and it was all in all a great experience. Very attentive service, nothing was a bother, great price, easy to assemble and actually looks a million bucks! Don’t overlook places like this for the likes of Amazon or wayfair if you’re local.

Ordered the faro 8 seater with large fire pit I’m so pleased with it really good quality taken a couple off hours to put together the fire pit comes with the stones to put inside didn’t realise and also comes with covers for the chairs and fire which was another bonus thought I would have to buy separately.delivery was super quick kept up-to date the whole time even a call 30 mins before delivery

Charged me £70 because they couldn't…
Charged me £70 because they couldn't deliver in the time they promised.
I bought a sofa from this company through The Range website, which stated it would be delivered in 3-5 days. Two days later the website said it would be delivered on a date that was 10 days later., which was too late for what I needed the sofa for.
I attempted to cancel the order but was told it was dispatched and The Range advised me I could only reject the order if delivered. I stopped the delivery before the date but after back and forth with The Range and delivery company, rejecting 3-4 attempts to deliver, this company finally took the sofa back.
And then Home Details proceeded to charge me £70 for the privilege.
Be careful when purchasing from them if you don't want a hefty penalty for them not keeping to their own delivery promises.

Amazing service, Amazing staff!
Amazing service, thank you Shabab!
You were an absolute star. Ordered an air con unit that was delivered not working. Called Shabab on the Friday late morning and he was great, he arranged another one for me and managed to get it to me by 9am on Saturday. He even called me out the blue on Saturday to check all was ok.
These things happen, and what sets companies apart is their people and how they deal with things like this.
I would highly recommend Home Detail and would like to personally thanks Shabab for all his help. Customer for life!

Trustworthy company
I was a bit wary of this site as it’s not one I had heard of, bought air conditioning units from them as it’s the only place I could find with stock, they were delivered within 48hrs and work as they should. Price hike / Blatant lie
I've watched an AC unit worth £349 shoot up to £899 purely due to increased demand.
Not only this, they have the cheek to have £̶9̶9̶9̶ (scratched out) next to this price to try and indicate that there has been some sort of price reduction, which is just a blatant lie.
I understand supply/demand - the more demand the price usually goes up, but to double the price and then some, along side trying to tempt people into believing they're doing them a favour is nothing short of extorting customers.
Personally I will stay clear of such a company, and I suggest you all do the same.

Issues with product damage but we got there in the end
After some significant issues with damage to the sofa I ordered, including sending a replacement in the wrong color which meant a trip to the dump to dispose of it, I’m happy with the final result.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience. The price of the air conditioning unit I wanted increased three times in a single day. It feels like the company is exploiting customer demand rather than offering fair pricing. As a result, I chose not to purchase from them. I’d rather suffer through the heat than reward this kind of behaviour.

Excellent customer care and service
Excellent customer care and service. Ordered a sofa 10 June 2026, once order placed had updates on my order and scheduled delivery. Received a call friday afternoon to say the sofa I ordered was out of stock, and to choose replacement options - everything explained and making sure I was happy with what was happening. Not long after received another call to say that they had found the last stock of my sofa and I could have my original sofa, was most pleased! Had follow up call the day before delivery, on delivery day had a call to advise a time my sofa would be delivered. They also were aware of my disability and that I need a bit of time to get to the door. Delivery of the sofa was faultless and both colleagues from Home Detail were polite, friendly and helpful.
The sofa is lovely, very comfortable to sit on, recliner option is fab! The sofa is excellent quality and looks way more expensive that what I paid for.
I will definitely buy again from Home Detail and would highly recommend. Other retailers should take a note and provide excellent customer care and service like Home Detail.

Purchased the Harriet chaise sofa bed - avoid
Purchased the Harriet chaise sofa bed - the stitching was burst on the sofa - I accepted a £150 refund as I had no way of repackaging the sofa for collection… now less than a few weeks old and it creeks with every movement & also is brick hard to sit on, I would not recommend the sofa to anyone. Delivery service was fast though.

Ordered the Evelyn Left-Hand Corner Sofa, Navy Velvet. The delivery was scheduled for Friday the 5th which eventually did come however only ONE part of the sofa had arrived! The delivery people were very rude and couldn’t wait to get out fast enough I even let them know that there should be 2 parts and they were not interested! I had called the company and they said that there should be 2 boxes however they did not seem to know where box number 2 was. I have been emailing customer support also and still haven’t heard about what is happening with the other box! It’s now Monday I have tried to call the number and it is saying that they are closed?!!!

AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD Wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star as I ordered a gray triple bunk bed to be sent out half of the white triple bunk bed and when asked where’s the rest the told me it will be sent out tomorrow. Then next day nothing comes for them I rand the day after and told it got sent back to warehouse as it was damaged. Then got told to wait till Monday and we will deliver a new gray triple bunk bed and told I’ll receive a partial refund for the inconvenience. 1 hour later got a call to say we will pick all the boxes back up tomorrow and give you a full refund in 10 days. If I was you look somewhere else for any furniture or anything else go else where.. AVOID AVIOD AVIOD
