Extremely disappointing
Absolutely terrible experience with Foot Locker customer service.
I ordered a pair of shoes online and wanted to return them. The shoebox arrived with tape already on it, and I returned the shoes in exactly the same condition I received them. I did not add the tape or modify the shoebox.
Foot Locker then rejected my return and refused to issue a refund, claiming that the shoebox had been returned heavily taped and was no longer resaleable. I repeatedly explained that this was the condition in which I received it, and provided evidence and a detailed explanation of what happened.
What makes this especially frustrating is that their response never actually addresses the key question: what evidence do they have that I was responsible for the tape? A photograph showing the condition of the box when it arrived at their warehouse does not prove who put the tape there.
I was passed between customer service and warehouse management, repeatedly explained the same situation, and ultimately received what felt like a completely dismissive response: essentially, the warehouse had made its decision and nobody else could change it.
The irony is that I deliberately returned the product without altering the packaging because I wanted to return it exactly as I had received it. Apparently, that was held against me.
Very poor handling of a straightforward return. I would seriously think twice before ordering from Foot Locker online again.
Don’t order on line
I decided for the first time to place an order online biggest regret as the order kept changing delivery date once I went in to check the tracking days later the shoes never shipped out I called yet the delivery date kept changing I contacted foot locker twice all they said was that I must wait the window of time provided for delivery on top of this very time I called I had to do a 45 min hold very very very disappointed
After my third call I finally got someone to put in a refund request now I have to wait for approval
They will not go out of their way to help at all horrible horrible do not place an order online
Horrible delivery service
Extremely frustating experience with Foot Locker, my order was delivered to another person and my refund was refused.
My experience with Foot Locker has been extremely frustating and, at the time of writing this review, I am still without the product and without the €169.99 I paid for it.
On 28/07/2026, I placed an order with Foot Locker for €169.99, with standard delivery stated as 3-5 Business days. The delivery was initially expect on 31/07/2026. I organized my day around the expected delivery and remained available to receive the parcel.
However, the delivery did not take place. The carrier tracking showed an incident described as ''LACK OF TIME'', with no actual delivery attempt being made. Because of this failure, I submitted a complaint and explicity requested that the order be cancelled and the full amount refunded, as I no longer wanted to receive the order after the delivery service had failed.
Despite my cancellation request, the parcel continued to be sent out for delivery on subsequent days. The tracking shows further delivery attempts on 03/08 and 04/08, and the parcel was finally marked as delivered on 04/08/2026.
The problem is: I NEVER RECEIVED THE PARCEL.
Even more seriously, the proof of delivery provided by the carrier identifies another person, Eunice Sousa, as the person who received/signed for the parcel.
I do not know Eunice Sousa. She is not a family member, is not someone I authorized, and I never gave her permission to receive any parcel on my behalf.
I contacted Foot Locker and explained the situation. They requested my personal information, order number, email address and telephone number, which I provided. They then asked me to complete a “Non-Receipt of Goods Disclaimer Form”.
I completed and submitted the form.
What followed was an extremely frustrating series of corrections. First, I was told that the order date had to be entered differently. I corrected it. Then I was told that my claimant name had to be added next to my signature. I corrected it. Then I was told that my signature had to match the signature on my official ID. I corrected it again.
At one point, I was so frustrated and confused by the repeated corrections that I asked Foot Locker to provide me with an example PDF showing exactly how the form should be completed, because every time I submitted it, another issue seemed to appear.
I remained patient and cooperated with every request.
After finally submitting the form according to their instructions, I expected the investigation to be completed and the matter resolved.
It was not.
Foot Locker informed me that they had investigated the matter with the carrier and that the parcel had been delivered to the “correct address”. On that basis, they refused to issue a refund.
I explained again that the issue was NOT the address. The issue was that the parcel was delivered to another person who was not authorized by me.
Foot Locker then stated that because the delivery address was a corporate/office building, the parcel could be accepted by reception, building management or an on-site colleague, and that the signature of Eunice Sousa therefore fulfilled their delivery obligation.
But where is the evidence that Eunice Sousa was authorized by me to receive my order?
No such evidence has been provided to me.
I continued to dispute the decision and asked Foot Locker to provide concrete evidence that I, or someone authorized by me, had actually received the parcel. Instead, Foot Locker continued to repeat that the tracking status showed “delivered” and that, under its terms and conditions, it could not issue a refund.
In other words: Foot Locker acknowledges that the parcel was signed for by ANOTHER PERSON, but considers that sufficient to close the case.
I did not receive the product.
I did not authorize this person.
I do not have the product.
Yet Foot Locker is keeping my €169.99.
I have now filed complaints through external platforms and the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book because I consider this situation unacceptable.
I have all the relevant documentation: tracking information, proof of delivery, the completed non-receipt form, the entire email correspondence with Foot Locker, and their final refusal to refund me.
What frustrates me most is not simply that the parcel was not delivered to me. It is the entire process afterwards: the repeated corrections demanded on the form, the delays, the insistence that the parcel was “delivered” despite the proof identifying another person, and finally the refusal to refund me without providing evidence that this person was authorized to receive my order.

Extremely Disappointed with This Experience
I have been a Foot Locker customer for years, and I have never been this disappointed with an experience.
I ordered two pairs of shoes for my son for school well before his first day on August 4. One pair arrived about two days before school started. Unfortunately, the second pair was not even the shoe I ordered.
When I contacted customer service, instead of immediately addressing the fact that I had received the wrong item, I was given the runaround and told that the order showed as delivered. I kept explaining that I knew it was delivered—the problem was that Foot Locker sent me a completely different shoe than the one I ordered. To make matters worse, the shoe was a size 9.5, and no one in my household even wears that size.
I provided pictures of the shoe, the box, and everything that came with the shipment, because I wanted to make it very clear that I had received the wrong merchandise. At that point, I still wanted the shoes I originally ordered. I was willing to simply have Foot Locker send me what I actually purchased.
Instead, I was told that they could send me an $11 gift card and somehow put the remaining money on it so I could purchase the shoes myself and keep whatever was left. I was literally sitting there thinking, “What?” because I should not have had to repurchase something I had already paid for because Foot Locker sent me the wrong item.
While the representative was trying to explain the situation, the call disconnected on her end. I received no callback. I had to call back myself and wait another 55 minutes before getting someone else.
At that point, I was done. I told the representative that I wanted a full refund. Even then, he had to check with a supervisor before he could send me a return shipping label. I honestly don't understand why that required supervisor approval when I was returning an item that Foot Locker sent me by mistake.
What makes this even more frustrating is that these shoes were for my son and his first day of school. I ordered them ahead of time specifically so he would have what he needed. Instead, one pair was completely wrong, and the other pair that eventually arrived was too small, so now I have to go through the return process all over again.
I just received the shipping label today, so hopefully this part of the transaction goes smoothly.
My advice to Foot Locker is simple: If the shoe I ordered is unavailable, just say it is out of stock or sold out. Do not send a completely different shoe and expect the customer to spend hours fixing the problem.
I will absolutely be keeping copies of my receipts, packing slips, shipping labels, emails, and everything else associated with this transaction until I know my refund has been completely processed.
I work too hard for my money to have to chase it down because of someone else's mistake.
Very disappointing, Foot Locker. I expected much better.
2 different sizes sent!
I have just been to the store to collect my trainers and they have been packaged with the wrong sizes. One is an 7 and one is a 7.5! It was lucky that the cashier asked if I wanted him to check the items before I left the store. I have never ordered from footlocker before and never will again. This is an absolute inconvenience to my life. I’ve had to pay for parking and left work early to collect my item only to find the sizing is wrong. I wanted these for Saturday in which I’m attending an event and a re-order would not arrive in time. The cashier said openly that ‘this happens all the time’ so would you not think that you would do everything you could to prevent it from along repeatedly? Unbelievable!
Not a great experience for me but what…
Not a great experience for me but what I love about foot locker is the quality of their products, and I think your online shop really needs improvement.
I put an order the size wrong i tried…

I ordered a pair of Jordans online on…
I ordered a pair of Jordans online on July 31 for my daughter's first day of school on August 10. The order remained pending, and I never received an email or text letting me know it had been canceled or refunded.
When I called customer service, Hope wasn't able to help. I simply wanted to reorder the shoes and asked if they could expedite shipping since the delay wasn't caused by me. She spoke with her supervisor, Taylor, who refused and told me I would have to pay extra for expedited shipping.
This was extremely frustrating. A lack of communication from Foot Locker created the problem, yet I was expected to pay more to fix it. Customer service showed no willingness to help or make things right. Very disappointing experience.
The absolute worst experience ordering…
The absolute worst experience ordering a gift for my daughter's bday they sent the wrong item 3 times they have absolutely no compassion for there mistakes they offer no compensation for me going out of my way to return the items they screwed up sending me! I work over 50 hours a week Im a single mom I don't have alot of time to work around they messed up and they won't help anyone out but themselves just to make sure they get there product back to the warehouse the absolute worst company I hope everyone rethinks before placing an order through them it's not worth the aggravation
Rejected After a Month Over a Shoe Box
Terrible customer service.
I returned a pair of shoes and had to wait almost one month just to receive a rejection. After making me wait that long, Foot Locker rejected the return because the shoe box was slightly damaged after shipping. Using the condition of the box as a reason to reject an otherwise valid return is simply unreasonable.
Waiting this long only to receive what feels like a copy-paste rejection is unacceptable. The whole process has been frustrating, and I will be looking into my consumer rights.
This has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve had. I won’t be ordering from Foot Locker again.
Avoid Foot Locker Poor Customer Service, Conflicting Information & No Resolution
I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have received from Foot Locker regarding a pair of defective Nike trainers.
Despite sending numerous emails, providing clear photographs of the defect, and supplying all the information requested, my complaint remains unresolved. Weeks later, I am still waiting for Foot Locker to take responsibility and provide a satisfactory resolution.
On Sunday 26 July 2026 at approximately 4:30 pm, I visited the Highcross Shopping Centre store in Leicester to discuss the issue in person. A member of the management team inspected the trainers and confirmed there was a physical defect. However, I was then told that the store could NOT authorise a refund or replacement unless Head Office first provided written authorisation by email. I asked whether they could contact Head Office directly, but I was advised that there was nothing they could do.
I found this response completely unacceptable. If store management have NO Authority to resolve a straightforward issue involving a defective product, it leaves customers with no practical solution other than waiting for Head Office. As a customer, I was left inconvenienced, frustrated, and without any resolution, despite the defect having already been acknowledged.
I visited the store on a Sunday, yet there appeared to be no process in place to deal with genuine product faults outside normal Head Office hours. Customers should not be expected to make repeated journeys or continue waiting indefinitely simply because the appropriate authorisation is unavailable. A retailer of Foot Locker's size should have clear procedures that allow store management to deal with legitimate consumer issues promptly and professionally.
In addition to my visit to the store, I have spent considerable time sending numerous emails and making several telephone calls to Foot Locker Customer Services. Despite all of this effort, nothing meaningful has been done to resolve my complaint.
To make matters worse, another member of the management team gave me different information, advising me simply to bring the trainers into the store for inspection and that I would receive a refund if the defect was confirmed. These contradictory responses left me with NO Confidence that the management team understood the correct returns procedure or had received consistent guidance.
I was also informed by two members of management that Nike trainers only carried a 6-month warranty. However, after contacting Nike directly, I was advised that warranty claims are handled through the retailer and that Nike products are covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. I also spoke with Foot Locker Customer Services, who confirmed that a 2-year warranty applies. Receiving completely different information from the store and Customer Services raises serious concerns about the consistency of information being provided to customers.
After spending nearly £100 on these trainers, I expected far better customer service. Instead, I have been left with a defective product, conflicting advice, unnecessary delays, and the feeling that no one was willing to take ownership of my complaint.
Following the service I have received, the conflicting advice, and the inaccurate information provided by store management, I personally would NOT purchase Nike trainers from Foot Locker again.
What has disappointed me most is not only the defective product but also the way I have been treated throughout this process. I have had to repeatedly chase for updates, receive inconsistent information, and make unnecessary journeys to the store, wasting both my time and money on fuel, only to be told that nothing could be done.
A company the size of Foot Locker should have a clear, consistent process for handling defective products and should ensure that all staff are properly trained to provide accurate and consistent information. Based on my experience, this has simply not been the case.
Until Foot Locker resolves this matter properly, I cannot recommend purchasing Nike trainers from this retailer based on my personal experience.
I’m extremely disappointed with this…
I’m extremely disappointed with this experience\.
The trainers I ordered for my girlfriend arrived used and damaged, which is completely unacceptable\.
Since then, I’ve been trying to return them and it has been a nightmare\. I was only provided with a DHL packing slip rather than a proper return shipping label\. I took the parcel to a DHL drop\-off point and they were unable to help\. I was then directed to the Post Office, but they also confirmed that it is only a packing slip and not a valid return label
Returning a faulty item should not be this complicated Other retailers like ASOS and Nike make returns simple and straightforward, but this process has been frustrating and time-consuming
I am requesting that a correct prepaid return shipping label is provided immediately, or that an alternative simple return method is arranged I expect this issue to be resolved as soon as possible
I never order from Footlocker and was…
I never order from Footlocker and was rushing at the gym, my tablet was in the car with my Nike sneaker app. Called footlocker which make it worst. It's the way a you talk AT someone not to someone. I will make sure no matter what shoe comes out a frying shoe, invisible shoe and I WILL never order a shoe, sock, nor shoes strings at ANY Footlocker again this always a mistake anyway. My sneaker app is now downloaded on my phone.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Trainers fell apart within 4 months of purchasing. Emailed as per the policy and they put the damage down to heavy wear and tear which I disputed as this is untrue, I asked for the report from the department that came to this conclusion and now they have ignored my emails for 22 days. I believe they are doing this as it will be 6 months since purchase soon. Absolutely awful company and definitely will not shop there in the future.
Disappointing Delivery Experience
The sneakers I ordered took longer than expected to arrive. I was really looking forward to them for an event, but they showed up a whole week late. The tracking wasn’t helpful at all, just left me guessing when I’d get them. When they finally arrived, I noticed that the packaging was a bit damaged too, which was disappointing. On the bright side, they were exactly what I wanted, but the delays really took away from the excitement. I expected better service from Foot Locker.
DON’T DO IT
DON’T DO IT
Please don’t shop here, ever. If you order online, just don’t. The return process with this loser of a shop is an absolute joke. They never reply, when they do reply they have incompetent staff telling you the wrong thing, it’s just all a big fat mess. Just please don’t do it, save yourself some stress.
Decent shoes
Decent shoes, ordered last week, delivery slightly long as online said they was in stock.
Would be zero if we could
Would be zero if we could. Ordered online, shipped in 24 hours, brilliant. Due for delivery to the store thought this would easier.. and waited… waited.. at 20:30 in the evening, tracking says there’s been an exception and delayed…. No one at the address… but it’s being delivered to store right.. and the store closes at 5pm… so no updates given on the tracking after this day. Spent over a week chasing customer services who kept advising will be delivered until one person advises that it was delivered but wasn’t scanned in.. a week later. I’ve since bought another pair of trainers as assumed these had been lost or stolen and returned them the same day via the online returns service. We are now into the third week since the trainers have been returned and FL have yet to refund me. Everything is so slow and simply unacceptable. Avoid at all costs ordering online as it’s simply a joke dealing with them and chances are they will hold onto the refund for as long as they can.
