THEY RUINED THIS APP. THERE IS TOO MANY ADS AND EVEN IF YOU TRY AND HIDE THEM IT DOESNT WORK MORE APPEAR. I TRIED TO TELL CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY DONT CARE ENOUGH AND IT SHOWS. THEY ARE FAKING REVIEWS ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE AS WELL. ITS DISGUSTING

Out of touch CEOs and stockholders are destroying Pinterest with their AI obsession. No one wants AI in any part of Pinterest.

No one wants AI generated images.

No one wants an AI chatbot.

No one wants their work to train AI models.

No one wants recommendations given by AI.

So. Many. Ads!

I don’t use Pinterest as an app to find things I like or for inspiration. A million spam posts and direct shopping which I use other apps for. Can it go back to what it was?!

I have been using Pinterest for years, but it is becoming insufferable. The proliferation of ads is bad enough, but it now seems to be dominated by scam sites that seem to be mostly operating out of China. In many cases the AI generation is glaringly obvious: items that move in impossibly animated ways, items shown arising out of cartons that could not possibly contain them, etc. What a shame to be losing a site that has been loved by many.

Pinterest has turned from a fantastic and inspirational website into one literally infested with AI and ads. If you're lucky, one in five pictures is real and you can watch three of them before an ad is thrown in your face, but often it's worse. Exit Pinterest for me.

It has gone from a source of inspiration to a money maker. I guess money corrupts all.

I've loved Pinterest for years but not any more. Searching for crochet patterns brings up so much AI. It's a shame because I'm trying to teach someone to crochet and everything she finds is AI.

Yeah, Pinterest is cool and all, but why is this stupid excuse for a safe app showing me AI rape ads??? Genuinely, it markets all its ads for a targeted audience. I AM NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE??? Disgusting that it allows these ads, makes me so uncomfortable..

I've had my account for over a decade, and it’s sad to see how much the app has changed. It used to be so easy to scroll through home decor boards, but now my feed is filled with cheap product links from questionable sellers. I still use it to organize my old pins, but I rarely discover anything genuinely new anymore. It just feels way too commercialized now.

Yes, when used properly it could be inspiring and helpful.
Unfortunately the "support team" isn't very helpful, and I was not once, but three times, accused of things I did not do.
Therefore my was account suspended on false grounds, and my appeals were dismissed completely.

I respect the need for the safeguards and policies a company must put in place, but either the support team made a mistake or it is EXTREMELY easy to unintentionally spam and\or violate their policies without even knowing it.

Unfortunately I cannot even rate it lower than this. Please do not use the Pinterest website as it appears one cannot rely on the companies posting adverts on it. At the moment there are various adverts for midi dresses V neck in several colours one of which I ordered to wear to my granddaughters wedding and the order was confirmed but soon disappeared but the transaction went through my bank on the 10th August 2026 with the details of the seller being PSG Quaffniche. I still have not received any further emails and the order has not been delivered to my home. There seems to be no way that customers can complain about this but I just wanted to warn other ladies who might see this come up under summer dresses not to order it on the Pinterest site as it seems it is not really available to anyone, this may be a small company that has made a mistake on the order but I feel I have probably been a victim of a scam and I for one will never allow this site to appear on my computer again. Hat I ordered came crushed by the cheap courier they use called YanWen. The quality image on the cap was bad! Definitely a low quality image and the cap material had grooves in it making it worse and dull. On top of that, Pinterest making it hard to return. Still making excuses not to be able to return this crushed cap. These guys are cheap because the quality is.

REcently the site is full with scam promotions.
Most advestigin link to a generci ecommerce site, they have a hotmail or gmail account as support.

I bought soemthing, and 2 months later the site is gone, nothing deliverd, just vanished. Pinterset is oibviously just going for the money and doesn ot cae about their customers.

Pinterest supplies a great variety of these photos and I put my interpretation of these animals into my paintings. A great inspiration! And help!

The Reports- and Violations Center keeps removing gymnastics, health related and such materia as adult content, treats material related to cooking and food as violent content and does a lot of other same type of misinterpretations. Either somebody working for pinterest is terrorising pinterest users, or they must be using AI or some other about as dum and clueles system to remove bad content.

Pinterest has become a wash of cheap,nasty AI and TikTok style, fake adverts selling junk or just pure scams/fraud all they want is you personal data to sell. And they do nothing about it because they skim profit off the top. Vile and unsafe site. It’s a shame we can’t upload pictures and videos here, just to prove the issue. If you use it don’t believe any of the videos selling you stuff, it’s been polluted by scams and TikTok junk. Last safe space, spoiled for profit. The government should have it reviewed.

This app used to be great, now it is crawling with AI and ads. Often I will search something up and the ratio of ads to posts will be 5:1. Really disappointing, greed fuelled capitalist bs.

Pricemaking.com is a company who scammer customers of their money.They took your money but never deliver the dresses.They advertised in pinterest deceiving the buyers and fabricated the delivery tracking system.The authorities should step in to take the company to task!!!

Pinterest being a renounced platform should check and screenproof the background of those companies( scammers) .How could Pinterest allow scammers to advertise via the platform and cheat others of their money.It is really disappointing !!!

Insufferable! Ads and ads and more ads. The so called option to block advertisers is a absolute scam as blocks nothing.
The more you "block" the more aggressive is the pop up. Tens and tens of ads running through the page and barely one or two of posts of real interest.
Every product managed by Google is a shame. And a con . Abusive, intrusive and disruptive. Disrespectful with the privacy and personal choices..

BEWARE! Avoid Pinterest ads! Do not click. The recent Sale ads for Dunelm are fraudulent. The bogus company who is running these ads leads you to a copy of Dunelm's site. BEWARE it seems it's a fraudulent site (an exact copy of Dunelm's genuine site). The bogus company allows you to place an order, but I didn't get an order confirmation email (which alerted me) and the bogus took multiple payments off my credit card. Emails to them are returned 'undeliverable' and there's no way to contact them and claim a refund. My bank has had to intervene. I will NEVER TRUST PINTEREST ever again. Pinterest should check and make sure ads are genuine. They are just a couldn't-care-less online site. NEVER TRUST PINTEREST ADs.
