Poor Service
My printed photo did not arrive. They do not send your photos tracked so they do not know if or when it will arrive. As it didn't arrive after 1 month I used another photo service (Max Spielman) which was quick and efficient. Regarding PhotoAid's editing of the photo, it was nothing I couldn't have done myself using AppleStore or GooglePlay applications. I won't be using them again in future. I was also under the impression that PhotoAid was a British run company based in the UK, it seems however to be run by Polish nationals who do not appear to send the photos via tracked UK delivery.

Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money. My passport application got rejected because this company does not print on heavy weight glossy paper. The passport office can tell it printed from an inkjet printer. Photos are not checked by this company before sending it out. They also remove the background which the passport office considers this an edited photo and automatically gets rejected. I was not even refunded for photos that dont meet the criteria because this company is a scam

Fraudulently selling 200% refund acceptance guarantee
I used this service as I needed an urgent passport for my infant son and understand the rules and requirements for passport photos for infants is more complicated. I paid extra for the 200% refund guarantee if my photo was not accepted. The photo was manually reviewed and edited by PhotoAid, however was rejected by the Passport Office due to it being over-edited with the reason being 'this doesn't look like a digital photo'. I submitted my claim with customer service for the 200% refund guarantee and they were insistent on requesting a letter from the home office, despite previously stating a screenshot would be sufficient. Although they have offered a refund of the price paid, their 200% refund guarantee is being fraudulently advertised and miss sold. I will take this up further with trading standards and the financial ombudsman for the misleading information they have provided for this product, including vague terms and conditions that customer service are then providing conflicting information about.

Photo wasn’t accepted
Photo wasn’t accepted, 200% guarantee is stated on website…. Not true. They now say they need proof it wasn’t accepted (which wasn’t provided). Their site states: no complicated process, no fine print.
It is misleading though. I now need a new appointment for my documents and new photo’s. It’s a hassle.
Ps. I did contact you quite a few times the past few days (before I wrote this review) and you only offered 100% refund while you claim on the website it’s 200%. Despite pointing this out, it is said that the general terms and conditions state it is required to provide proof that the photo is declined. When asked where I can find the GT&C I didn’t get a response. I couldn’t find it on your website.
Ps. 2. You required more info. Which I gave…. You did nothing with that info.

If I could put no stars I would. The government will not accept the photos from here. I was told by them that it has to be done in person at an actual place. Scam...they just take your money and you can't even use the photos.

You can renew or apply for a new passport without having to leave the house
