I collected all my receipts and took photos using the app. I used it to produce a bar code and when I got to the airport I scanned this and got a message to say it was successful. Although I had all my receipts and the goods purchased, I did not need to show them on this occasion. My refund was completed the next day.

The first time I’ve used this and almost didn’t bother. I downloaded the app and set up my account in a couple of minutes. The lady in the wine store was incredibly helpful and showed me what to do with the receipt and where to validate my barcode at Calais.
I’ve received approximately 13% back in my wine pitches with just a few minutes of effort.

I was recommended SkipTax for a recent family trip to Disneyland Paris and honestly wasn't expecting much. The app advises you to keep receipts for eligible purchases and claim the VAT back later if you've spent enough.

I dutifully kept all my receipts, although by the end of the trip they were mostly crumpled up in my pocket! It wasn't until we were queueing for Eurostar security on our journey home that I suddenly remembered I needed to use SkipTax.

While standing in the queue, I scanned all of my receipts, my passport and a selfie through the app. To my surprise, the whole process was incredibly quick and I managed to complete everything before reaching security. The app then generated a barcode which I simply scanned in the departure lounge.

Adding my bank details was straightforward, and the refund arrived in my account the very next day.

The best compliment I can give SkipTax is that I probably wouldn't have bothered claiming the refund if the process had been complicated. Instead, it was fast, simple and hassle-free. I'm still slightly in disbelief at just how easy it was.

Very easy and straightforward to use. Uploaded receipts and generated barcode before I left hotel for the airport. Scanned barcode on terminal at airport, literally took a couple of minutes and money was in my bank account next day. Wish everything in life was so easy to use!

It's a very easy process, every stage is well explained, I left France in the evening and the money was back in my account by the next morning.

I have used skiptax twice now and had no issues either time. Its easy to upload a receipt and its easy to exclude items from the receipt. The machine in the airport was easy to use and the refund was in my account by the following morning!

Perfect! Easy to use. Great service and money straight into my bank account in less than 24 hours. So easy to use app and scan receipts. I scan them virtually as soon as I have made a purchase in Disney. Then once at the airport once you have finished and generated your barcode (all in app and so easy to do) you just scan at the France airport machine and you get a green / good notification and then money was in account.
