The beginning to get a bank account wasn't the best part of my experience , i waited 1 month , others had it in 1 day others in 2 or 3 days , but now after having it , I'm so happy and I've been using it for 2 months and is very easy yo use and clear , very recomandable

Slow application process and bad AI customer service
Have waited three weeks to get the bank account, meaning I will now go without salary for two months.
The only reason I chose Lunar over other banks is that they advertise fast service. The customer service is impossible to reach with only an AI bot that cannot help available, and when calling you need to wait for half an hour. Called a week ago and they promised to push the application but got no updates. Finally after calling for a second time since the 10 days they promised were over they seem to be working on my application but still is not accepted. They asked for additional information at 15:50, and close at 16 so assuming I will not be getting the bank account today. Needed a bank account fast to get salary, but will now end up with two months with no salary and horrible user experience and customer service.
The 'traditional' banks lunar claims to have superior service too all have customer service immediately available through an online chat, but lunar says it takes 5-6 days to get an answer from a human (I have waited over a week since the AI promised to forward my messages to a human and got no reply).

A waiting time like this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. Our onboarding team works as quickly and efficiently as possible, while also following the regulations we are required to comply with during the application process.
When an application takes longer than expected, it is often because some information needs to be corrected or clarified. In those cases, we reach out through the app and, in some cases, by email to request the necessary information.
If additional documentation or further clarification is required, this will naturally extend the processing time. The time it takes to receive the requested information, and whether it is sufficient, also has an impact on the overall timeline.
That said, I can see from your review that you've already been in contact with us several times and were promised updates, so I completely understand your frustration. I would very much like to take a closer look at your application to understand why it has taken this long and make sure it receives the attention it deserves.
