I would give 0 if possible. Scam!!

I’m only giving 1 star because it doesn’t go lower. This company is a scam and I don’t know how they’re allowed to get away with it.

I parked in Vanløse Kronen center so I could go climbing. I read the sign which said 2 hours free then 14 per hour after that. Seems pretty reasonable pricing. I also read that the paid portion must be paid before (not before you leave. Before the parking period commences). So I would have to walk to climbing, climb for just under two hours, check out and walk back, pay for the next 2 hours, then walk back to check in to climbing again. I didn’t realise this was the case immediately so I paid for 2 hours upon arrival, assuming that it would automatically add on after the free period. It didn’t. I got a fine through the mail a few days later. After appealing this, it got rejected and I had to pay it.

So next time I went, I thought I obviously did it the wrong way round so this time, I’ll pay on the way out at the machine, then I know exactly how long I’ve been there. As I went to the machine, a worker from OPARKO told me that I’ve already been hit with a fine and there was no point in trying to pay the normal parking. Again, I appealed using the reasoning above, again it was rejected.

I have now, thanks to someone else who advised me, started using EasyPark because OPARKO themselves make it purposefully difficult to trap people and fine them. This is a predatory company and the fact that they’re still running is incredible.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

Use EasyPark app.

Svindel

Parked at 10:45. So my parking dics went to 11. There is 1 hour free parking with parking disc. Got yellow ticket at 10:48. Send appeal that everything is fine. Got answer that appeal is refused because according to documentation I parked 24 hours because my parking disc showed 11 xD. They have no idea how parking discs are working that if you park at 10:46 and up to 11 it will show 11. Because they are going forward every 15 minutes. The case will go to Ministry of Transport and newspapers with the answer I got from them xD

1 minute parking ticket in FREE ZONE

They gave me a parking ticket, because my EasyPark had expired for 1 minute. This was after having used 45 minutes of 3 hours of FREE parking.

Their website is badly designed, and they try their best to force you to pay. They are disrespectful in their responses and their director will not take responsibility for his statements:

He said no more petty cases, on feb. 2026, and here he is ignoring my case, and trying to make me pay 800 kr. for a minute of extra parking in a FREE ZONE!!!

Close these corrupt companies, they should have NO power here in Denmark.

Be careful with this company!

The most unpleasant and greedy company I've ever encountered. First, they put up inconspicuous signs in their parking lots, and then delivery drivers who park for just a few minutes to deliver an order to residents of the same building are hit with exorbitant fines! No amount of reasoning or explanation helps! Their greed is simply unbelievable! Of course, nothing good will come of this...

Absolute scumbag company & staff

Absolute scumbag company & staff - as a tourist in Copenhagen, i pulled off the main road into a car park to set my satnav - was there 4 minutes & didn’t use a space - it was empty anyway - charged £150 - appealed & got nowhere - completely over the top & ruined my weekend

Dishonest and incompetent – unlawful late fee

I paid my parking fine on time and hold clear proof of payment. Despite this, Oparko still issued me a late fee. This is not just a mistake – it is an unacceptable practice that punishes honest people who have done everything correctly in their system.

Their system is unreliable, their administration careless, and their customer service completely unhelpful. Instead of acknowledging their error, they try to squeeze extra money out of drivers who already fulfilled their obligations.

This creates serious distrust: if a company cannot keep track of simple payments, why should anyone believe they act fairly in anything else? It feels less like a service provider and more like a trap designed to exploit people.

I strongly warn others to avoid Oparko. Keep every receipt, take screenshots, and be prepared to fight, because even when you pay correctly, they may still come after you.

Based on my experience

Based on my experience, this company acts unfairly and uses misleading practices. They charge hidden fees that were not disclosed in advance, and the services delivered were not as promised.

Instead of resolving complaints or engaging in serious communication, the company withholds money and avoids responsibility. In my opinion, they are unfairly profiting from customers.

If anyone else had a similar experience with this company, please get in touch. I am considering a collective legal action (class action) to seek justice and prevent others from being harmed.

I got a fine

I got a fine, without even parking there(just passed through the parking). Also since they didn’t sent me an email on my eBoks, but only send to the physical post, I saw the letter 2 months later. Now the fee from 950kr is almost 2000kr.
I am trying to object the fee but they are answering very slow and already registered me in RKI.
So be really careful

I will never go to the center of Veri…

I will never go to the center of Veri again, just like I did to Meny and Veri. Keep punishing people. Shame on anyone who fines people, I believe they are not successful in life, and if they are successful, the boomerang will come back from another angle.o
I parked a little behind the line in the Veri center and got a 970kr fine, and I spent 5 minutes in the store. Shame.

I totally agree

I totally agree: TERRIBLE, TRICKY AND UNFAIR as described earlier from other citizen - Zero stars if possible.

OPARKO is a private cash machine without any consideration for the users, where easy parking management should be the top priority for the area's users and not remove, for example, the possibility of using a legal parking disc, but forces users to use Smart-phone apps.
This is called discrimination of users.

Many elderly people do not have a Smart-phone and therefore cannot park.
And myself do not own a Smartphone for IT security reasons and there is no phone number to contact to report parking.

Previously, an approved parking disc was legal, but this has now been removed from the signage around parking rules, which has not been made known.

100% a private cash machine that should be reported to the police if possible - and why should the fee be DKK 850,- (more than 100USD) when you have parked within the accepted time interval, used a legal parking disc and there is also camera surveillance over the area so that it can be proven that parking time has been observed.

If I were M.GOLDSCHMIDTH HOLDING A/S as the "owner" of the area, I would immediately see to getting this situation sorted out.

The fee has now been involuntarily paid by a VERY dissatisfied and frustrated user.

M.GOLDSCHMIDTH HOLDING A/S in DK has been informed by this occurrence.

TERRIBLE, TRICKY AND UNFAIR

I could give 0 if it was possible.
Terrible, tricky and unfair!
I don't know how they actually still exist with so much complains and deveived people from them.
There are many many people frustrated and unfairly deceived by You!
You have to be ashamed. Don't know how how you are sleeping at night.
In Frihedens Butikscenter I Hvidovre you maked a controversial rules for 2 weeks and you took the money if yhe people for 20.mim stay even with set watches, ans 2 hours free parking.
Because you have free, but you had to register in the app, even if you already had registered your car number and there is a camera.
Things made only to trick the poor people ans to take their money in such a criminal way.
Because if something is made to take something from someone in an infair and non valiant way is a criminal act.
I don't know if you get how disappointed, frustrated and sad I'm...
And I don't know how someone can fo such a things in 2025 in Denamrk.....
Shame on you

Cynical and Impudent criminal organization

Cynical and impudent criminal organization operating on the edge of the law by exploiting weaknesses of current parking legislation.
Most people are not going to go to court to prove their case because of associated cost in terms of time, capital and mental load and this organization is using this situation to a full advantage. Issuing extremely sketchy fines sometimes going a bit over the red line, to grab some extra cash.
Writing claims just doesn’t work, message - response time is about 15 days and they usually reply sometimes totally out of context with inaccurate statements and wrong assumptions, making it impossible to have decent conversation, they ignore the facts and evidence, like attached screenshots etc., this is another tactic to make people just “drop” the case.
Good business I guess.
