A total scam.

Their advertising is incredibly aggressive.

I got an ad for one of their new products, which I was supposedly going to receive “for free” after passing a test. I passed it, and at checkout the product did indeed show up as completely free of charge. The only amount I was officially told I had to pay was €4.95 for shipping to a postal address via the local postal service in France.

When I proceeded to checkout, the total displayed was €4.95. I was cautious, so I used one of my online bank cards. After entering my card information and pressing “Pay” for the €4.95 shipping charge stated above, they attempted to charge me €159!

Thankfully, the payment didn’t go through because I didn’t have enough money on that card.

I have never experienced something like this from an official brand before. Beware of this “free product” scheme. Attempting to charge €159 when the checkout explicitly displayed €4.95 is absolutely insane.

I've finally found the best foundation! Customer service is also efficient, prompt and friendly. Recommended.

Honestly the most flawless foundation I've ever worn. Great coverage and it lasts really well. Well worth it. The shade matching tool is spot on as well.

I bought this product from an Instagram advert, deep in the small print, I never saw it, is that you’re entering a 3 monthly subscription set up for the same product, I was shocked when the second product arrived, I thought I’d been scammed I got straight onto my bank to cancel my card, they informed me this is a regular problem with this company, they advised what I should do, I got in touch with Makiage, they issued a refund email for the post office, but when I went to return it, it couldn’t be used by the post office, I was so traumatised by this point I came away crying, I called the company up again & asked for another return label, they said they had had a notification from the post office of my trying to return it & to keep the product free as an apology

Received a complimentary bottle of Power Serum but unfortunately on opening, the neck of the bottle was broken. IL Makiage are sending a replacement free of charge. Their customer service is always so good!
