Payment is not good

Insanely easy!
The app and website is very easy to navigate for checking current, ordering new or cancelling any unwanted insurrances.
Just got a new one, and it was done in a few minutes, and the documents were ready.

I have used if for many years. May be they Are expencive, but the have supporterklubb me when I needed the.

Customer service doesn’t exist. You can spend 1 hour on the phone without any answer

If applied a blatantly incorrect calculation to my travel insurance claim. They deducted the full refund of a round-trip ticket from only one part of the claim, ignoring that it covered both outbound and return legs—and that these were two separate incidents.

Even after I explained this clearly, they refused to justify their calculation or provide any breakdown.

They kept wasting my time and patience for weeks with no results and understanding.

Would not recommend.

Future oriented, and feels modern. Almost a bit to modern. That chatbot is useless at times.
When damage happens, the process is fast and efficent, as long as everything is documented nice and tidy. If you need assistance, or them to help you out with something it gets slow.
The insurances and coverage is topnotch. But you are paying alot for them. So that's the main drawback. IF is expensive!
The agents and employees are often very likable, nice and feels genuine. But as most places, beeing loyal gets you nowhere.

If you get a good deal, take it, but be ready to jump ship when you get a better one next time somewhere else.

IF is 2-3star company in my opinion. They where a 4. But time changes.

They force you to pay fee even if its not in the policy.. and their custumer service are rude and ignorant..

I’m very disappointed with If Insurance’s travel coverage. It’s advertised as comprehensive, but in reality it’s extremely limited and inconvenient to use.
I needed blood tests while traveling, but because I had consulted my doctor in Norway from abroad, the claim was denied. Later, when I caught a bad cold in Milan, the medicine I bought to relieve fever and sore throat wasn’t covered either, simply because I didn’t see a local doctor.
So to get any reimbursement, you’re expected to pay for a doctor abroad (at an unknown cost) just to be told to buy over-the-counter medicine. You end up spending more, with no real guarantee of coverage.
Overall, this policy feels misleading and unhelpful. I would not recommend it for anyone looking for reliable travel insurance.

I came to contact IF sometimes ago but never did it to commit until few days ago my heart just told me so IF is a trusted insurance company. So i went call customer service and were very easy to talk to and understood exactly what type of insurance i was looking for.
But, with all this scamming going on so extreme so i ring IF Bergen and really proved that they see the last conversation i have with kundeservice and ecen given me the name of the person. So, i am glad have found a package of travel insurance for me and my son so affordable price. I couldn't me more happier with my subscription!

This is the most an trustworthy insurance who keeps singing in people when they can not pay for there injury diagnose housing problem, with fire or……,,

Not a beneficial at all very unprofessional they promise a lot but they don’t do nothing!
until you Sign in your insurance with them they will make you feel safe and comfortable!

And when something will happen to
you, they will be keep waiting forever!!! and when you claim them for ignoring your case they will close your case??? Really???

I don’t understand why in the first place..if, If Insurance company don’t have any finance support how can they invest in insurance company where people put their trust on if the know that they will not be able to have the money to pay them out if anything happens to them or to their property 👀! Isn’t that scam???

specially the people who works in the claim settlement Department they are the most rude one and the most fishy people and manipulative, they evil eye there client if they know that, they have the right of any money! And they will come with all kind of excuses so you don’t get nothing and any thing!!

And when you call other insurance companies you will hear completely different answer, and that you have all right to compensate for your insurance!

To all of you, who is insured in this company save your money and change your insurance as soon as possible don’t hesitate, because if anything happened to you or your family or your property you will not receive anything

so you better find yourself another insurance company before it’s too late!
Even if they give you any money, you will never receive the seam amount of money that you will receive from any other insurance company!

I had full insurance with them, home insurance, pregnancy, and child insurance, but never get any help they always tried to get away so they don’t pay any money!

In December2024 we had a big damage in my ceiling in my apartment because my neighbors toilet was lacking on my ceiling and they needed to do a deep renovation and we need to leave the apartment because they was doing deep work and they removed all our furniture’s!

And when I contacted IF to put me in a hotel because my home was insured and they refused to help me and they referred me to contact my landlord, so he can provide me a temporary residential so IF they don’t pay for my hotel 🏨 we all know in Sweden if you have that kind off problem that your home insurance is the one who has to take care of you, there for we are paying insurance to be secured in this kind of cases !

And not only that my child get diagnosed with permanent allergy and asthma and they want to wait for him to become 18 years old before they take any decision so to scape doing any payments now,
and he’s only 3 years old now,
so they want to wait another 15 years before he gets his Insurance money!!

And there you go and as you can see how they are not serious’ is this insurance company?

So please before you end up in the seam problem cancel all your insurance with IF and put your insurance money somewhere else we’re they will treat you seriously and Respectfully, and will not treat you like fool!!! And try to get away from there on responsibility!!!

We just did a maternity insurance which says it will cover the event of a continuous hospital stay of 7 days or more before birth (for the mother) or after birth (for the child), a compensation of NOK 1,000 per day is paid. The compensation can be used freely, and is often used for additional costs a family incurs when someone is hospitalized for a long period of time. 
But we got a reply today that it will cover 300 per day and it's 3600 for 12 days.
Also it says that it pays Svangerskaps-og fødselskomplikasjoner

Financial assistance to the mother if complications arise in connection with pregnancy or childbirth. The compensation is 5,000 kroner per complication and can be paid up to two times.  

 Complications covered are: 

Preeclampsia 

But now they are denying to pay that also.

I don't trust this company from now as they only know to take an insurance premium and when it's time to return the claim they have unknown reason not to pay the claim.

Only getting a error.

I have tried several times to check prices online for a car insurance. I am only getting "Fault ID: 13007" all the time.

Is this a way to go back to the 1950 where you have to call the company to get a price every time you want to check how much it costs? I thought we were in 2025.....

Horrible company to insure dogs. After 18 months of correspondence from our and our vet’s side, finally we had an answer for not paying out. Our dog had some health problems and the vet tried to figure out if it was allergy related or not. After several tests and medications, all the results showed it was NOT allergy. It was unknown what was the cause of the constant ear infection, but luckily the dog grew out of it. It was quite a costly investigation (NOK 40000). Our case supervisor was super horrible, rude when available, but usually he was not answering for phone calls and emails. When finally we had a contact, he refused to reimburse anything as the company doesn’t pay for allergy. And it wasn’t even allergy!!!! We just had to figure out, that it wasn’t. Well, we are only one customer to leave this company, but I think every little helps.
