I am a business owner and recently used Angis to get new customers. Several weeks in my bill is over 6000 . I only received and accepted 3 leads and won those three jobs. The supervisor told me she couldnt do anything for me. Because it shows I received all the leads and if I wanted to I needed to contact every customer to prove I didnt except the job. They can see by my conversation ls with customers i didnt accept or win the jobs. Don't use them
If you are a business owner, STAY AWAY!!!
Terrible leads, terrible customer service, zero accountability for their horrendously flawed system. I wouldn't use Angi moving forward even if they were the ones paying me. The only place this company will "LEAD" you to, is less money in the bank. Pure Garbage.
I found out the hard way that Angi is only worried about their profit, NOT the customers. My contract with Angi was for $280 a month of leads. First I wasn’t getting the correct amount of leads then I’d get more than I paid for then less again. But 4 out of 8 leads, the lead phone number wasn’t a working number. Secondly they took $680 one month out of my account, after sending 6 phony lead numbers. I call them and they say it’ll be 5 to 7 days to get my money, I call 4 days later. Then they say ohh it’s 7 to 10 days, I call back 7 days later then they say 7 to 14 then 14 to 21 days. It’s disgusting because they held the money till my $280 was due and send back $400 instead of $680. They said they don’t pay credit for bad numbers and that any NSF fees from the 680$ is my and the bank’s problem. I STILL HAVEN’T GOT MY MONEY.
its a scam. Do not waste your time with them they took over 5k from my account with out my knowlage.
I’ve repeatedly received fake or invalid leads from AngiLeads/HomeAdvisor, and despite providing clear evidence, they refused to issue refunds. After attempting to contact several of these supposed customers, some never responded, while others confirmed they had never requested any services through HomeAdvisor. This raises serious concerns about the authenticity of their lead generation process. The absence of phone number verification by SMS or call further supports these concerns. I’m not alone in this experience—many other contractors have expressed the same frustrations and suspicions about AngiLeads’ lead generation and quality. I strongly recommend that HomeAdvisor adopt stronger verification measures and greater transparency for contractors.
Horrible experience. Charged me for nothing $1700.

Horrible lead program with fake leads all the time ! Total rip off

Most the leads say they never asked for the service or have no idea why we are calling. The numbers are "temporary numbers" so there is no way to verify that they are actually real leads. Absolutely terrible.

Angie Leads has been an absolutely horrible experience. They sign you up promising you success, their leads suck (a lot of leads don’t even answer the phone) and you still get charged. Don’t go near them, try somebody else..

I have been with Angie about 3 to 4 months and over 50% of my leads are scam fraudulent leads. They refuse to give me credit for these leads, which makes me think that they might be in on the scam. The leads are obviously scam leads they always ask if you can accept a check and then you cash it and give them half and of course the check bounces and you are left holding the bag. It's a disgrace!

I would love to give them 0 stars nothing more they deserve. This company Angi Pro-Homeadvisor are thieves. Bunch of leads of people looking for job, customers with disconnected phone numbers, customers that already have done their projects days before you got their information through Angi’s app. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.

I would give zero stars if I could avoid like the plague they will lie and take your money

Angi leads has changed its policies, they don't care the customers , the only care about their monthly income. I regret signing with them. They train their employees to deceive consumers. I have read many reviews from customers and the same thing happened to many of them as to me.

After a year of working with Angi ProLeads, I experienced nothing but disappointment. This company sells leads that are essentially junk leads, completely irrelevant to the services we actually provide. We specialize strictly in kitchen and vanity cabinet installation, yet most of the leads we received were for cabinet painting, door replacements, or other unrelated work.
Their constant “recommendations” to expand your list of services feel like nothing more than a tactic to justify selling you garbage leads. The biggest red flag came with the very first lead: as I later discovered, it had been submitted by the customer over six months earlier and was already completed. Still, Angi ProLeads resold it to me (and probably to others) while charging a $60–$100 commission with zero guarantee of results.
Dealing with their representatives brought no resolution either — you’re always the one to blame: wrong profile setup, lack of reviews, missing photos, not enough experience. In reality, to succeed with Angi ProLeads you would already need 1–2 years of experience, a large portfolio, plenty of reviews, and an existing client base. But if you already have all that, you don’t need Angi ProLeads in the first place.
If you don’t, they’ll bury you in rotten leads, drain your money on endless fees, and leave you with nothing but frustration. Luckily, we cut ties and are thriving without their so-called “support.”
Bottom line: I strongly recommend never doing business with Angi ProLeads under any circumstances. Save your time, money, and sanity.

Do not use this app as a pro. Don’t do that to your business, Scam. You get leads even when they are OFF.

Make sure you carefully read their contracts very very carefully!
They lock you into a 12-month contract and don't let you out, and just give you terrible quality leads. NO OTHER LEAD PLATFORM DOES THIS!

I’m a pro that had a business with Angi leads and it was absolutely horrible. Do not use angi leads, they will scam you. They take your money and don’t offer legit leads that they promise. Also when I canceled my agreement with them and they charged me nearly $1900 because I canceled before 12 months. In total I payed around 3k for absolutely nothing. I got almost 20 leads that had nothing to do with my service and another 4 or 5 that never responded. If you’re ever thinking of using them or making a contact with them, don’t. They WILL take your money and give you nothing in return. Also, when I tried calling they would never respond or say that their “shift” ends in 10 minutes and then they say that someone will call back another day but they never called me back. However, they call you at the worst times they spam you with crap that you don’t need. One of the people from Angi kept on calling and emailing me about getting more reviews even though I couldn’t because they didn’t provide any good leads. And she would just spam my phone non stop even when I didn’t have my leads on. It’s truly ridiculous how they operate, I don’t recommend Angi to anyone.
