I have had a very positive experience with Emerald Solar through the ordering and installation of our solar panels and battery. Installation was quick and they kept to their promised timeframes. I've not had to request any maintenance yet so I can't speak to their customer service in that regard.

Although I left a favourable review for the install. Our system has required further support.
Initially the customer service and support was poor, no calls returned and seemingly little interest in fixing the problem.

More recently an individual customer relationship manager (Miya K) has taken ownership of the problem, providing regular updates, showing genuine resolve in fixing our issue.

We’re very happy with the service provided by the Emerald Solar team. A great first impression made by Graeme from the sales team led to us selecting the EcoFlow Power Ocean solar + battery option, which provided a solution to ensure that we had access to power, even in the event of a total grid outage.

We were pleased to see professional work from all parties involved, including subcontracted parties such as the scaffolding company chosen by them. Almost everything went according to plan and they were able to find quick solutions to a few practical problems that came along the way.

We’re also thankful to the 2 team members who put up the solar panels and set up the system, for their expertise and care in making sure the installation didn’t cause any damage to the house and surroundings.

Finally, thanks should also go out to the office team members, who ensured that we received the required paperwork/certifications in a timely manner, post installation.

Darren who are from the sales team of Emeral Solar introduced the solar systems that they can offer to us. He is very informative in his proposal and answer all the questions we had. Customer services team handled our request promoptly, shows patientce and delivered incredible services that I highly recommend.

We recently had a solar panel package fitted with Emerald Solar. We were Very impressed with the service from start to finish. An initial consultation was carried out with Darren who came to our house, discussing various alternatives for us. He was extremely informative and went through different costs and proposed savings.
We also had quotes from large national companies as eon and octopus. To be open Emerald were not the lowest price we had quoted for a package. However they were only slightly more and it gave us a couple more panels than other companies were offering. Plus they were the only company that physically came out with a face to face discussion on our needs. Darren was not pushy in anyway and we felt he was very knowledgeable. The larger national companies were either phone or web discussion the lead time was also into months in advance. With Emerald we could actually talk to people the fitting was carried out within two weeks of our decision to go ahead. The fitters were extremely helpful and got on with the job very professionally. The whole system was fitted in a day. The scaffolding company were a bit slow to contact us and remove the scaffolding which was taken down a week later, but this was not really a major issue for us.
We had some initial tech problems with linking the solar system to the downloaded control app, which was found out to be an internet link problem and took a bit of technical support to sort out. But again we had contact calls from Hinen tec support and a WhatsApp video call to go through the issues with us.
We feel Emerald being a local company and having the person to person contact all the way through the process and after support was a great choice and we are very happy.
We feel we can just give them a call with any questions and not have the issues of making a telephone call to a big supplier trying to have a conversation with an AI bot and going through a push button service to go around in circles.
We have been provided with all the correct documents to set up our SEG agreement with our energy supplier and are now happily looking at our app showing power generated from our system and energy going back to the grid giving us savings.

We recently had our installation by Emerald Green. From start to finish was excellent, starting with Graeme who came to see us initially, to installation & afterwards. Can’t fault anyone of there services, would recommend.

All details explained well when we first met, job started quickly and then finished quickly, so far so good. Just a little issue on the measurements of the number of panels needed and the layout, as they use Google earth to measure the roof that at first didn’t turnout to be correct,

My overall experience has been very positive, the sales process was great and I felt informed to make the decision right for me. The installation was equally good and the guys that attended were brilliant in their guidance of how the install should be done and listened to our needs and then executed well. I have had some small niggles afterwards but nothing that should deter anyone

From the initial visit consultation and proposal through to install everything was great. All my questions answered in detail, installation was booked quick after I decided to have the solar system installed. The team who installed the system did a really tidy job and put everything exactly where I wanted it. No real need for the after sales support so far but the couple of things I did need help with were sorted straight away.

Overall a good experience but initial plan for scaffolding to be erected then it was only on the day of installation that the scaffolding was erected. But installation didn’t disrupt me much but drilling noise was a little difficult at times as I work from home. Overall a good experience sales answered all questions with a lot of backing information and a neat and tidy installation

Emerald Solar have just installed solar panels, inverter and batteries. Installation very quick and well coordinated (ie scaffolders, delivery of panels etc, electricians all on time with no delays). Was kept informed at every stage. Recommended.
