Last time on our return journey from India to Sweden.Gjendidige accepted finally our extra expenses in Kolkata,India due to cancillation of our original Qatar flight due to the war in the middle east. Due to misunderstanding ,we did not have any receipt but theu trusted us.Always Gjendige has been customer friendly.We now live in Sweden but have found them due to our good relation in Norway.They are customet friendly.

Five Months Later and Still Not Properly Restored

My experience with Gjensidige has been deeply disappointing.

It took five months to get my apartment back after a water damage claim. The restoration contractor selected through the process, Sluta Riv, delivered work that appears unprofessional and incomplete, including poor paint finishing, unresolved construction dust, and what appears to be an improperly sealed sewage connection causing odor in the bathroom.

Despite these unresolved issues, the case was treated as if it were complete, forcing me to request a final inspection myself to address defects that should have been identified before closure.

An insurance claim is already stressful enough. What you expect is competent coordination, quality control, and a properly restored home. That was not my experience here.

We travelled to Thailand and one of us had to be hospitalized and the other had a blood test etc. The entire claim process was very straightforward and the money was credited within a week. Very smooth handling of the case!

Extremely unreliable!
@Emily, I have taken several attempts to convince Gjensidige to review our cases (related to our cars and house incidents). You guess what, absolutely POINTLESS. We realised that we don't get anywhere, unless we take the cases to court and pursue legal actions (costly and time-consuming) or move on!

Unfortunately, we couldn't afford to take the legal route, got robbed by you (as a premium customer), and decided to move on.

Of course, you are a cheaper option in the market, but indeed a great gamble.

I also think some of the Gjensidige employees at the claim department are extremely unprofessional and impolite!

I can write a history book about how unreliable you are!
