I would not recommend wasting your time…

I would not recommend wasting your time with this company. I arranged for my car to be collected for the discussed fee and they did not bother to turn up. I was told the car would be collected between 8am and 5pm and the driver would call about an hour before arrival. A complete and utter waste of time!

Great experience with Cash for Cars

Great experience with Cash for Cars. Everything was quick and easy from start to finish. Ben, the manager, was very prompt and professional, which made the whole process smooth. Dan, the salesman, was extremely helpful and did a great job getting the car ready within a short space of time. The entire experience was hassle-free and efficient. Highly recommend!

Absolutely would NOT recommend!

Absolutely would NOT recommend to use this company.

I broke down over 200+ miles from home with an unfixable issue with my car that would require it to be scrapped. I arranged for cashforcars to collect my vehicle from the garage it was at.

Despite the fact they originally offered me over £400 and then dropped it to £150, I was desperate to get the car gone from the garage it was sat at, since I didn't wish to pay yet another recovery company to remove it after having it already taken there, and could not return home until it was sorted.

I waited 3 days for a collection to which they had twice confirmed with me that it would be happening (once by email, once by text). I waited all day for someone to collect the vehicle and yet NOBODY arrived, no one even contacted me to let me know this was the case. When I rang them to ask what was happening they transferred me to their sub contracted company who did not seem to know what was supposed to be happening. There seemed to be no communication between any stages of the process at all, and I had to lose not only a day of earnings, but the train tickets I had booked to get home the next day because of this.

A terrible experience, I rang them the next day and cancelled since, like I had previously stressed to them, I could not return home until the car is moved from the garage.

Timewasters. Don't pay quoted price

Quoted a fair price online based on the car being 24 years old, high mileage and scrap. They rang me the day after, asked loads of questions ( any marks on paintwork/interior etc) then told me they would pay me £75. Poor way to do business and a waste of everyone's time. The other company that quoted a similar price came a couple of days later and kept to the deal.

Misleading prices and quotes..avoid.

Have to say the scrap car quote service is very misleading and abit of a scam to reel you in with a higher price, got a quote for a scrap car at £257 which i accepted and it ssid sold , put down the mileage and any details so they were fully aware it was just a scrap with 112k, when they rang they said they could only pay £100 because of the mileage and condition even though they knew it was an old scrap car already, they also quote £75 on the website if you droo it off then say its actually £50 when they ring you..it's a scam ..avoid.

Avoid this company like the plague

A person called me today and was instructed by another company who my insurance company instructed and this person who spoke with me was extremely rude and put phone down on me. What a disgrace, disgusting and unprofessional person and now after reading reviews I’m not surprised. Avoid this company like the plague.

Do Not Use Cash for Cars they will rip you off.

We cancelled our offer with Cash for Cars and they sent a tow truck anyways to pick it up. We had another company that was supposed to come by so we assumed it was them. They gave us half of what we were supposed to get but did not argue with the driver just assumed they ripped us off. , They took our car when we told them we didn't want them to. We would sue them but not worth a couple hundred dollars. Do not use them or trust them. Wish I could rate them zero

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !
Cash for cars sent me an email with an offer for my Corsa of £1150 which I accepted. They then sent another email saying thanks for choosing us and we will phone you in the next 72 hours to arrange a pickup. Nothing happened, then when I phoned they said they knew nothing about the offer and said they would buy it for £350.
I would not touch this company with a barge pole !

Couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery

Dreadful. Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Suddenly move the goalposts. After nightmares I went to Peddle and things were sorted almost immediately. I learned that chasing the best price is pointless if they can't close the deal.
