The app update constantly shows errors. Asking me to try later. The old app worked better.

As a new user I needed some advise as we had a problem adding a 2nd user to the app. Customer service was great, fast and efficient and problem easily sorted.

As a solar PV and battery storage installer, I’ve worked with a wide range of manufacturers over the years. In my opinion, Alpha ESS stands out as the best system I’ve installed so far.

They’re not the cheapest on the market, but the build quality is second to none, and the products inspire confidence. What really sets Alpha ESS apart, though, is their app and technical support. When commissioning a system, it’s not unusual to need a firmware update or some technical assistance. With Alpha ESS, you can get straight through to their support team, and they deal with these issues quickly and efficiently.

I’m about to install my third Alpha ESS system this month, and based on my experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to both installers and customers.

I've had the system in for 9 months now, so plenty of time to find the good/bad sides.

The app is great, with lots very informative and complete control of the system.

Equally important, the customer support team have been really great when I've needed them (e.g. one occasion I messed up a setting and needed help to revert it, on another occasion the system got itself in a state and needed a reset). This is technology, and sometimes things will go wrong, so it's great to know with AlphaESS you can reach a human being that will help get it right again

My battery has never allowed me to force discharge to the grid, having moved into a house that had already had them installed. I sent a ticket to Alpha, not expecting a reply, but within 24 hours I had received a reply saying that the issue is a settings problem, that they have hopefully resolved, but required further information. 24 hours later the issue is indeed resolved and I am now able to force export to the grid for the first time. Absolutely first rate service.

We recently commissioned an Alpha ESS T20 system, and I can’t speak highly enough of Lewis throughout the entire process.

From the initial call right through to delivery and commissioning, Lewis maintained excellent communication and made sure everything progressed smoothly. His technical knowledge is exceptional, and when we needed support during commissioning, his patience and expertise were second to none. He took the time to work through everything with us, ensuring the system was set up correctly without ever making us feel rushed.

Nothing was too much trouble, and he consistently went above and beyond to provide a seamless experience. It’s refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely cares about customer service and takes pride in delivering the highest level of support.

Great help and technical support from Lewis, ran a full diagnostic of the new Alpha Ess Smile G3 system and quickly identified and rectified the issue.

Since installation the system has ran smoothly ever since.
