thought I'd try Lancaster as ads seem good, told all ok and sales people though slow seemed Ok told me my value of the car Ok 2 months later valuer says 40% less
as interior aged and some faded paint? the fact it's all original apart from service items & is 53 years old I have owned nearly 40 of these. is what attract people to it (nearly top 4 at Classic at Shelsley last year and drew interest from guys from CSSC)
so ask for refund and to cancel. am told I had to do
within 30 days so because of lazy valuer taking so long was offered approx 25% of what I paid.
they sent me a refund of £12 For 40% less cover?
can't at the moment afford to lose so much but will never use this company again.
and I won't replace an original interior on word of a person who is supposed to know about old vehicles.
better not let him see my 70s Guzzi I've owned from new suspect he would say it looks old?

The young gentlemen that helped me was very informative, and knew all the answers to my questions, the most important being the average wait time which is 43 minutes, so much better then the big names who have kept lone lady drivers waiting for over 4 hours

I needed a rectifier for my V50
and even though there was a postal strike I got it in 2 days

SLIGHT ISSUE WITH DELIVERY AS TOLD THEY TRIED TO DELIVER BUT WORKMEN HERE AND DIDN'T SEE ANYONE AND NO NOTE LEFT? BUT CAME SOON AFTER SO NO REAL PROBLEM.

wasn't going to review but as you keep trying?
handles were great, but delivery held back as bolt from another supplier and missed weekend set aside for fitting.
bolt OK ish but screws really cheap rubbish and both sheared with little effort so wasted a lot of time getting broken bits out and finding suitable replacements.
