Review of CDON Danmark - Nordens største markedsplads!

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is a scam company

This is a scam company. So an item is missing in my order and I reached out. They have a customer service that when you email to them, they respond with an auto reply that your case has been closed which means there is no way to contact them and then I get random weird email addresses afterwards asking about my case, which is scary. Absolutely do not buy from this, don't be lured in the cheap prices like I've been. There is a reason why it's cheap. Quality is really bad and non-existent customer service, how is this allowed to operate in Denmark? Totally not worth it. Please help complain this company because it needs to be shut down.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand that it is very frustrating to find an item missing from your order and, at the same time, feel that you are unable to get in touch with our customer service team or receive clear answers to your queries.

We are sorry that you have been left with the impression that cases are closed without follow-up and that subsequent emails are causing uncertainty. In some cases, automated replies and misdirected contact channels can be confusing, but this is of course not how we want the customer journey to work, and we take your description very seriously.

We will follow this up internally to review both how cases are handled and how we communicate with customers, so that we can reduce the risk of similar experiences in the future. We also take your feedback seriously and would like to understand more about your specific situation.

To help us assist you further, please contact our customer service team so that we can investigate your order and review what has happened. We appreciate you getting in touch and hope that we will have the opportunity to turn your experience into a better one in the future.

Kind regards
CDON

Can highly recommend

I’ve been using this company since I moved to Denmark, probably 5x now. Delivery takes a while but it’s also coming from Germany and they have full disclosure on delivery time. Happy with all the products I’ve ordered.

Very poor customer service and delivery

I ordered April 24 and still have not received the order 5 days later. I got a notif that it was sent but I can’t track it in DAO. I called the customer service yesterday and they said my order had an issue but they will track it and email me but nothing received. Note that I emailed them twice before the call and no response either. Neither any advise that my order had an issue (they only told me after that call I made which took forever to get through). I wanted to cancel my order as I am leaving tomorrow and would be away for weeks hence no one to receive the package but they insisted they will get back to me but still no answer. Feels like a scam.

Hi Erika
It appears that DAO has succeeded in withholding the package and returning it to us. I will therefore refund you the money as agreed. The amount can be seen in your account within 1-3 working days. Really good day.
Best Regards Med24, customer service

Products were great but the delivery…

Products were great but the delivery was not. We got a notification that it was delivered 4kms away from our choice because it was full in our choice and we were not given a choice about it. We would have rather waited because we don’t have a car so it was really a big hassle to claim it. I hope they can work together with the delivery supplier about it

Review of Upwork

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It works because there's no better choice so far but could be made fair

I have been using Upwork as an employer and it's a great way to find a resource. Although not all resources are screened to a proper filtering way where you can see who's really qualified. So you end up having to do a lot of trial and error. There should be a proper way to show qualifications more accurately. There is only one general score which doesn't say anything about the skill you need. Also, I know that they are taking too much commission fees from the worker so I can understand why others would prefer to work outside Upwork because they're basically forcing them to.

Excellent local company

Excellent company. Owned by locals and their guides work for them full-time which is not always the case for every company in Tanzania. They seem to be well-trained in handling clients from various countries so you feel like the service was personalized. I recommend without a doubt.

Review of World Nomads

Nomad Insurance only for Residents of Developed Nations

They changed their policy recently. I am from the Philippines and now to get "Travel Insurance", you have to get it from their partner, which is a company in the Philippines. I am a full-time traveler and cannot get any insurance because I am outside the Philippines and their policy states that I should leave from the Philippines for me to qualify. This is ridiculous because they claim to be the insurance for NOMADS but now slowly implementing conventional rules that are totally against the nomad lifestyle. And again, this was not an issue before. My husband who is European has no issues so it seems they are only changing their rules for 3rd world citizens.

So this WORLD NOMAD thing, for everyone's knowledge is not inclusive and is beneficial only for citizens of developed nations, so if you are not, please research properly what policies apply to your residency because the policies vary. You will also notice in their website that it's not clear what policies apply to who making it appear as if everybody's entitled to the said Nomad Insurance but this is not the case. Chances are it might be better to just buy your insurance directly from your home country. But if like me, you are not in your home country, this is not the choice for you. They have been helpful in communication but only to tell me basically that there's nothing they can do but to reach out to the Philippine Insurance company.

Hi Erika,
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Unfortunately we're not able to offer cover for Filipino residents at the moment due licensing and local regulations. We're working on this and hopefully will have a product for our Filipino Nomads within the next few months.
I'm sorry to hear you feel as though we only provide insurance to developed nations. Please know this is absolutely not the case.
Safe travels,

Review of China Bank PH

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Cheating clients into accepting loans believed to have low interest rates then increase after signing

I am a resident from the Philippines and my husband is a Danish citizen. We filed a homeloan in Chinabank for our flat in Makati and the beginning of the application was rather smooth and are actually happy with the timely service. However, this was apparently short-lived and had taken a turn after we signed the loan- after it was too late to change to another bank.

In one of the emails we got from them stating the loan was approved, it said the rate we were going for (6.25 p.a. fixed for 5 yrs) is only valid until end of September.

To cut the story short, we finished all the requirements before that (we left Philippines on September 15) and had our attending officer confirmed that all our documents have been approved. By end of November, the loan was settled with Megaworld where our condo was purchased and everything seemed to work out as planned. Only to find out as late as December 7 that Chinabank had suddenly changed our Interest Rate from 6.25% to 7.5% instead without informing us beforehand. We immediately asked for clarifications on this and for the interest rate to be corrected, only to be told that because loan was paid out end of November, not before September 30, the prevailing interest rate of the time had been applied instead. This without telling us any of this or clarifying why and when we tried to probe, gave us very brief answers and finally told us to "please send a complain letter to the customer contact center". We were stunned with this not even giving us a person in charge rather throwing us among the stacks of other complains of thousands of other people (including issues such as forgotten pincode, etc...) We are talking about a loan involving millions, and this is the treatment we get.

As a customer, we feel we have been tricked and cheated into agreeing and later on when everything else has been settled and have stopped all applications with other banks, they send you a notice that almost seemed hilarious "by the way interest rate is different, FYI. But don't worry, it's just a slight increase of over one million, no biggie".

My husband and I are versed in these kind of things and we still can't believe that Chinabank is putting us in this situation. We can't help but think about other fellow Filipinos, who probably has lesser knowledge and ultimately lost in the jargons and strings of the Philippine banking business . That one day, an officer will tell them that they have to pay more than they were initially told then hand them with a big stack of papers and say "the terms and policies" are indicated there.

As of this review, we have been asking for the right person who will help us with the issue but they keep referring us to the said customer service so this is going downhill as you can already tell.

If anybody has similar experience with Chinabank, please come forward and let us know what you have done with it. We want to inform everyone who is planning to do business with them as we want to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

This company should close down

No customer service at all. Total waste of money. If this is your choice of software, you might as well do it manually. Their system always have bugs and there's absolutely no one is available to help despite trying all means (Skype, phone, email, live chat). This company should close down.
