SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT. My experience was similar to another review that I've read.
Received an email saying it had shipped but it never arrived.
"Mary" wrote to say that items can be delayed so to give them more time. She also promised to send me tracking information.
I never got this despite two requests. I then wrote 4 weeks later and she said if it didn't arrive within the next 7 days I would receive a refund. It didn't arrive and I heard no more despite asking for a refund.
I have now asked my bank to recover the payment.

Refund was prompt

I have bought from this company in the past so was confident in buying a 360degree baby car seat.
It was an excellent price (Puggle brand) but when it arrived, we found that instead of the normal "leg" that goes to the floor of the vehicle there was a strap that goes over into the boot and needs fixed in place.
I then read some reviews where people said it isn't possible to use the 360degree turn on the seat once you have fastened that strap in place because the strap prevents it from turning.
I asked for a refund and the staff were really helpful but said I needed to pay £22 for a return label.
(I declined and bought my own postage label for £12). I received a refund promptly as promised once they received the item back.
It is a good company and I won't hesitate to buy from them again but have given only 4 stars because I think the description of this item should be clearer.

Voipfone is SO good

Voipfone is SO good. I have had Voipfone account for some years and it's hassle free.
Recently we changed broadband router and the phone just stopped working. Tried everything then finally got in touch with technical via online chat and Ian managed to resolve the issue (router problem). I honestly can't praise Voipfone enough. If you want to get a voip number then use this company. The price is amazing too!

But disappointed in Better Brush but…

Bought the Better Brush but unfortunately due to the rubber “bristles” it is very hard to push and the handle keeps coming loose however much I tighten it
However the mini brush which came free is really good so worth keeping for that and at least I can use the long brush for cleaning outside window surrounds.

Have given this 5 stars because the mini brush is excellent. It cleaned car mats and house doormat much better than usual brush. Struggling with the full size brush. The handle just keeps coming loose however tight I fasten it but that said, it is effective and worth having for the window cleaning edge.

Some drivers are excellent

Giving 5 stars because our normal delivery driver is wonderful. Friendly and efficient.
BUT the parcel was due several days ago and an unfamiliar driver claimed address was incomplete. Parcel taken back to depot where it then got lost and eventually sent out way after the date I needed it.

Fresh veg and fruit is very poor

I have shopped at Sainsbury’s for year and have had home deliveries weekly since lockdown
Sadly the quality of fruit and veg is now so awful that I am not buying fresh goods. Popping into another supermarket for that
Can’t afford to be getting mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes etc which are looking poor when they arrive and not edible within even 24 hours. Wish I could upload pics to show how bad some have been. Sadly the same goes for salmon fillets. They were a weekly treat but have been binned more than once when cooked by date. However I have given 4 stars because the service is excellent. Delivery is always spot on time/ drivers are friendly and helpful and if I was shopping in person I could choose fresher items.

No free gifts as promised …

Altho some stuff is def cheap and reasonable quality I have had constant pop ups promising two free gifts if I buy five items. Add one to cart and get a nesssge “this will surely be FREE” but when I get to checkout I haven’t been given any items free even though I have bought the required number of items. VERY FRUSTRATING !

Avoid Hisense fridge freezers…

We bought a Hisense American fridge freezer from AO. It was a very big purchase for us (over £500). It had a two year guarantee but just six months after guarantee expired we have found large cracks in the freezer internal walls. Googled but understand Hisense doesn’t supply any parts??? Definitely avoid. We are retired and can’t afford such a n outlay again so soon!

Excellent company to deal with!

Don’t generally leave reviews but just bought a new washing machine from Mark’s Electricals and can honestly say the efficiency and customer service was amazing. Ordered 3pm Saturday on website and delivered 9.30 am Sunday. Emails and texts to update on delivery time. And the best bit? Cost us £20 less than nearest price rival AO and £50 less than some others and it was free delivery too. Delivery staff were very friendly too. Have recommended to family members and will definitely shop with them again. Thanks for a great service!

I would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could.
