I've never used Homestay before, but was really pleased with the immediate response to my original request. Homestay also made other recommendations in the same area just in case I wasn't successful with my first choice.
As well, when I tried to email the other host to tell him I had made other arrangements, I got a message with the hosts email, with a form to fill in....very efficient. Whoever set the site up, has thought beyond the superficial requirements. Very customer focussed. Wonderful
Review of Chain Reaction
Unfortunately, and even though I received the items I ordered from ChainReactionCycles.com, there was definitely a mix up.
I ordered the product in March and in late April/early May contacted ChainReactionCycles - who asked for a review- to say that I had not received the order, so could not review.
I was told that there had been a delivery attempt, but that I had not responded so the item was sent back. I had not received a delivery notice, which is unusual, as most companies do this.
I requested that they cancel the order when it came back, and would they please re-imburse my credit card.
Two days later, a delivery notice was under my door. I emailed the delivery company and made an arrangement for the product to be left at my door if I was not at home. Two days after that, the product was delivered.
I am left thinking that ChainReactionCycles had actually lost my order or forgot to lodge it in the first place, and quickly made up for it. I would have appreciated an honest response if this was the case. So I can't really say it was a good experience even though I now have the product.
