Hands down the absolute worst airline we’ve ever flown with. As seasoned air travelers we have experience with many airline companies but Transavia never fails to disappoint. Rude staff, massively overpriced, terrible aircraft. We paid 450 euro per ticket from Amsterdam to Funchal. Anywhere else in Europe is a fraction of this price. The excess luggage charges are absolutely criminal. We feel robbed. This company treats people like dirt. Never ever again. We would rather drive to another country and fly from there as this would be much cheaper and it would mean we are not bound to fly with this sorry excuse for a company.
