Highly recommend the Renatal Manager for landlords looking for qualified tenants

I’ve been using a realtor to find tenants for my condo for over 10 years. I finally decided to try it on my own using Zillow rental manager. It was so easy, all the communication stays within Zillow, the process is super easy. They (tenant) pays for the background check and credit report. The application is sent to (landlord) based in my criteria. It was wonderful and free! I found a great tenant through Zillow and the step by step process was super easy to follow. Thank you Zillow! You just saved me about $800.

DO NOT TRUST ZILLOW 0 stars.

I would rate Zillow 0 stars. They intentionally post inaccurate information about your home the picture is wrong, when pointed out there response is yea it maybe wrong but we are not changing it. They are frauds and cannot be trusted. Redfin and Realtor.com. Are so so much better. DO NOT TRUST ZILLOW, THEY REFUSE TO CORRECT ERROS THEY MADE.

Awful

Spammy, frequent emails, lots of pressure to use services. When I posted a review of my mortgage company, they kept taking it down and sending the same nonsensical message that it was about a different mortgage company, but it was not; I used the same, exact mortgage company name as on the page and in Zillow's communication with me about the correct company. I was unable to actually edit the review because their website is so bad. Now that I am trying to delete my account, they will hold my information hostage for 45 days. Terrible.

Everything is automated and all…

Everything is automated and all communication is by text and email. When I talked to broker, I told her I wanted to do everything in person on paper.. not computer and docusign...she said I was not the agent for me. When I put a one star review on her? Zillow blocked my account.

10 out of 10 do not recomend

My son-in-law is trying to buy his first home. I have never known of such ridiculous assistance in doing so. 10 out of 10 I would not recommend. The worst possible way to go about buying a home. Overpriced and they keep throwing on fees and they do not help they're just ridiculous you're better off just living on the streets.

Zillow provides uneven zestimates…

Zillow provides uneven zestimates tricking the public into buying properties for over or under actual value and their call center in India refuses to do anything. They literally have empty lots next to each other that are the same size but will be valued at $40,000 difference. They give RVs and trailers higher valuations than houses and the public actually believes it. Zillow caters to realtors and now refuse home owners the right to sell.

Zillow is a joke

Zillow is a joke! Impossible to look a house without having to sign a bunch of agreements first! I just want to look at the house in peace and decide where to go from there! Most of the agents I've dealt with were rude! They want you to get pre-approved before dealing with the customer! I will get approved after I find what I like! I've never had to sign any paperwork before simply looking at a house!

False Advertising

Zillow incorrectly listed my multiunit property as 1 BR 1 BA instead of 4 BR 4 BA. I didn't give them permission to advertise this property. But they did it anyways and incorrectly, which minimizes our product. Both I and my realtor are powerless to change this.

Working with Zillow is a Nightmare

Working with Zillow as a real estate agent has become an absolute nightmare. The level of incompetence from their customer support is not just frustrating, it actively impacts the livelihood of professionals who rely on their platform.

Accessing client messages for active listings is completely broken. To make matters worse, their support follow-up is a joke. After waiting an entire week just to get a call back about this issue, the rep who called today claimed he couldn't help because he doesn't handle rentals.

He then transferred the call, dumping it directly into an automated recording instructing to send a message through the Zillow app.

That exact channel had already been used, which is what triggered the useless week-long wait for a phone call in the first place.

It is unacceptable for a company of this scale to operate with such negligence. Every single day that Zillow ignores these system failures or provides useless, delayed answers, real leads are lost and money goes down the drain.

A platform servicing the real estate industry cannot afford to offer such a broken customer service experience.

Inaccurate and no real assistance

I've seen other reviews about Zillow's lack of accuracy on the website and I completely agree. My home's value went down $50k for no reason while other homes in my neighborhood stayed the same. Smaller homes were listed $50k higher. My value on Realtor.com and Homes.com stayed the same ($50k higher than Zillow). I tried to contact them and they were absolutely no help.

There is no customer service at all…

There is no customer service at all! I am writing this to warn other real estate professionals and sellers about the complete lack of customer support and ongoing data inaccuracies on this platform. I uploaded a listing through our MLS, and while every other real estate platform syndicates the information perfectly, Zillow is displaying the completely incorrect city. This makes the property link highly misleading to potential buyers.

She wouldn’t show me the home until I signed an exclusive agreement that’s blackmail way to go Zillow

Recently while trying to buy a home in Ouray Colorado I used the Zillow app to find available homes. After finding one I was directed to call their Broker Julia Kuzmina . She informed me that she would not be able to show me the property because it was a 2 1/2 hour drive for her and the weather conditions were not good.
Then she suggested that instead of paying commission, I should pay her hourly to show me this property and sign an exclusive listing sales agreement that she would represent me in any purchase I made whether she showed me the property or not.
She’s young and ridiculous. Why would I pay her to show me a market that she doesn’t even understand ??? I will never use Zillow referred agents again. Always GO TO THE LISTING AGENTS.

Low opinion of Zillow

IMO, Zillow is old and lacks updated facts about the properties they show and list, Zillow does more harm than good to sellers. If a homeowner spent 100k over a period of time remodeling and updating their home Zillow would have no clue and would continue posting old pictures and old info for that property. The info and pictures Zillow has for my home are well over 11 years old and do not show the true and improved condition of the property. I think companies like Zillow should be ignored and driven into closure. I believe Zillow is all about money and not quality or integrity

I wouldn’t even give this platform one star, but I had to in order to leave this comment! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLATFORM… and… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE SUBSCRIPTION so that you can apply to all the homes that utilize the platform for their application process!!! THIS PLATFORM HAS NOTHING BUT LANDLORD THAT’S GONNA FORCE YOU TO FILE HOUSING DISCRIMINATION CHARGES ON THEM!! SO IF YOU HOLD A VOUCHER (or of color) , DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR STRESS YOURSELF OUT!!

Inaccurate Agent Sales History and Extremely Difficult Support

⭐️ 1 Star

I have been a Realtor since 2018, and Zillow is currently missing a significant number of my closed sales from my public agent profile. My profile shows only 6 total sales, which is nowhere close to an accurate representation of my transaction history.

I have identified more than 14 missing transactions so far, and I believe there may be additional sales missing as well.

I have spent months calling, emailing and leaving voicemails trying to get this corrected. Zillow is now communicating with me and has acknowledged that there appears to be a glitch in their system that they are having difficulty resolving.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I personally know several other agents experiencing similar issues who have simply given up trying to get them corrected because reaching Zillow support can be incredibly difficult. In my experience, getting meaningful assistance is especially challenging when you are not a Premier Agent.

This matters. Consumers use Zillow profiles to evaluate Realtors, and an incomplete sales history can make an experienced agent appear significantly less experienced than they actually are. That can affect our professional credibility and potential business.

I appreciate that someone is finally communicating with me, but agents should not have to spend months chasing support to correct inaccurate professional information being displayed publicly.

I will gladly update this review when my sales history is corrected and the missing transactions are restored.
