Great platform to find jobs

had a very positive experience with Yoopies. Through this platform, I was able to find two job opportunities, which I am very thankful for. The process was simple and easy to use, and it helped me connect with families quickly. I appreciate the support and opportunities provided. I would definitely recommend Yoopies to anyone looking for part-time jobs or babysitting work.

Blocked without a reason, personal data lost

There was no clear instruction about how to add « auto-entrepreneur » status on the website. So I sent my personal documents to Yoopies official contacts and then I was blocked from the website. Not sure what I was doing wrong as they never responded to my emails.
I just hope that nothing bad happened to my personal info and documents.
Never ever I would advise this website to anyone.

You'll never get a job without paying for premium. Clients don't see your job applications.

Not a good website.
I'm not sure what the channels of the communication are between clients and service providers are but it does not appear as though you can get through to, or message each other directly.
Jobs are not approved or declined by the users seeking services, but by the website itself. Users apply for jobs, and applications are 'sent', but are not seen by potential clients. The website filters them all out for you, so you don't see any replies to your ad. All applicants see are rejected applications.
Many jobs are declined without the users and service providers doing the 'actual' declining. The website does it for you. Hence the reason why so many of you aren't getting any answers back. No one sees your request, and no one see the offers made. But you'll still be required to pay the subscription fee either way.
If service providers choose not to pay the monthly 9 EUR premium subscription fee, then you get a limited number of jobs (max 4) sent to you. A lot of the jobs proposed are brought to your attention weeks, months and sometimes years after the initial ads are posted. There are still unanswered ads posted from 2022 and earlier which Yoopies does not seem to take down.
Almost every single offer you make is rejected with the reminder that if you pay the premium subscription fee, you can have access to profiles.

Premium trap

I find it ridiculous that I am required to pay for a premium account just to be able to respond to anyone applying for my post. I only expect to use the service once per year maximum so see no benefit in paying so much to the website. I see that this has resulted in plenty of others, unfortunately, falling into the trap of automatically paying to renew a subscription they did not want. It's a predatory tactic that makes me question how well they treat the ones searching for work on their platform.

Very dodgy company

Very dodgy company, beware if you register for a 1 month subscription as they will continue to take money from your bank without your permission and without letting you know,

Hi Mark,

We are sorry that you didn't notice the renewal of your subscription. Indeed the premium subscription is renewed automatically. This is indicated on the subscription subscription page, in the email confirming your subscription and at each renewal date in an email titled "Thank you for using Yoopies. Important information about your account". In the email, we give you the procedure to follow if you want to stop at any moment the renewal process.

Sincerely,
Yoopies team.

Wrongfully charged and no answer from the customer support

I have been charged wrongfully even though I have cancelled my subscription (it is renewed automatically by default).
Then I tried to cancel it again and it doesn't work. I have sent messages to the customer support service and didn't get any answer.
I have had to block the debit from my bank directly to stop being charged.

Note: after some time, the customer service cancelled my subscription and refunded my account.

Hi Benoit,

We are sorry to hear that you were unable to cancel your subscription renewal by yourself. As mentioned during your subscription on the site, in the subscription confirmation email, the subscription is automatically renewed by default. You can cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time, to do so, you will find a "premium" box in the my account section. To cancel it, simply click on the "cancel" button. This way, your subscription will not be renewed on its expiration date.
In case you can't find it and succeed in cancelling it, you can send an email to our deleted custommer service. We strive to respond to you within 24 hours. We apologize if we have not responded within this time frame.

Yours sincerely,
The Yoopie team

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This Company have refused to reimburse me "membership fees" which have been collected for over a year from my account and contest that this is legitimate as it is contained within their terms and conditions......

Nice business if you can get it, please don't give it to them!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Waste of a lot of time and poor customer service

I paid extra for a premier service to find a nanny for my baby, which was essentially a waste of money. Yoopies' customer service is also appalling - once they collected my money, they didn't respond to emails.

Many nannies applied for the post but hardly any came through because when contacted they said they lived too far away (this was in spite of me providing my address in the ad) or that they couldn't work the hours or days I requested (even those this was also stated in the ad). I'm not sure why they applied in the first place. I contacted Yoopies about this but got no reply. Needless to say my premier service expired after a month and I had gotten pretty much nowhere even though I had spent hours (while a new mum to an infant) trying to secure a nanny.

I've managed to get 2 ad-hoc nannies (who both end up not being particularly committed, canceling and refusing slots) on this service but not before contacting and emailing about 40 nannies.

If you have lots of spare time and don't mind wasting a fair bit of it, this service is for you!

Hello ST,

We are really susprised by your review. Our customer service answers absolutely all of the requeste by email, online tchat or phone.

Could you please provide us your email adress so that we can have a dep look into our files ?

As for you researches, we are very sorry to hear that you couldn't find a suitable profil on our platform. We remind you that we are not an agency: our role isn't to find the perfect match between you and a nanny but rather give you all the tools to make the research and help you with the administrative part.

I understand that you've been through a lot of steps to get into relation with profils but then were disappointed by the feedbacks you got. The results aren't always 100% perfectly adequat but our algorithms work for the most important criteria that you choose to put in your ad.

Moreover, we insist regarding our profils so that they answer to a maximum of families, and adapt their ads and applications depending on the family needs.

You can always report unprofessional nannies so that our services take necessary measures. You can also ask for profils to be verified by our team if you have any doubt.

Finally, the Premium subscription is renewed with the aim to give you keep up the researches part and getting our assistancy on hiring a nanny and benefit from our secured payment system.

I conclude that you probably chose the option not to contiue with the subscription.

We remain at your disposal for any further queries.

Kind regards,
Sophie from Yoopies

Easy to work with for an English speaker

I am really glad to find this website. Recently moving to France and not being fluent in French yet, I have been hesitating to look for a nanny, until I learned about the Yoopies website. Setting the language to English, I wrote my ad in English and got many offers from English-speaking nannies.
It is easy to surf on the site. The administrative fee of the website is 1 euro per hour. Although I wish it was cheaper, I am happy with their service.
