Initially, Yarbo support was TERRIBLE! I had to email the CEO to get the proper response to my initial questions. Once I was able to get the right amount of attention, all my issues were resolved. Eve... See more

Very Poor Customer Service
Very Poor Customer Service
I have a Yarbo (snow blower, leaf blower, lawn mover incl trimmer) since 2024. I am now at core #3 due to various issues (no problems with exchanging the cores) and the snow blower and lawn mower worked fine so far.
The problems started when I tried to operate the trimmer (I bought it last year for this season).
Here is my customer service nightmare:
I kept getting error messages and the brand new trimmer never started to spin. I opened a ticked on May 25, 2026. On June 9, the Yarbo customer support informed me that the trimmer is broken and that I would get a new one. On June 12 I got a message that a "refurbished core" is on its way. After contacting the customer service again, they told me that it is a mistake and a trimmer will be shipped soon.
On June 22, I reached out to Yarbo when the trimmer would ship ... later the same day I received a message from UPS that a shipment is on its way from "VOC-Jerry" and that I need to pay import fees for $103.97 ... I called UPS and they couldn't provide any details but recommended to cancel it if I do not know the sender ... which I did. Potential scam.
On June 23, Yarbo send me a note informing me that the trimmer is on its way ... with the UPS tracking number I just canceled ...
After countless emails back and forth they informed me that they can only send me a new trimmer in August 2026 and that they would give me 5,000 Yarbo points to compensate for the poor experience ...
The points never made it into my account.
On August 21, I received an automated pickup notification from Yarbo support ...
I thought the trimmer is on its way and contacted them that I am still waiting for the trimmer ... and the points.
After several email exchanges and trying to explain why I still do not have a trimmer ... I haven't received an update since August 28, 2026 ... Yarbo Support does not react to my requests about getting an update ... complete silence ... Today, is Sept 6, 2026.
Would I buy a Yarbo again: No.
Not because of the product. I love it but because of the terrible customer service.
I hope this helps.
I preordered a Yarbo mower and…
I preordered a Yarbo mower and snowblower a few years ago. There has minor quirks etc throughout getting it set up etc, as expected being a new unit. Yarbo has been very responsive on getting these issues resolved as well as any mechanical failure. I have received any replacement parts fast and follow-up has been spot on. The unit now runs seamlessly for the most part. All in all I have been very impressed with the company.
Love our two Yarbos
Love our two Yarbos!
I’ll say upfront, if you expect to drive this machine out of the box and onto your lawn to mow, you will be disappointed. There is a learning curve.
If you read, use the wiki, ask questions, go to the Discord meeting on Wednesday nights, and contact Yarbo Support, IN THAT ORDER, anyone can figure it out. If you do these things, and Yarbo Support can’t fix it in the end, they will replace it. Mostly (not always as there are rare exceptions) the people who whine and complain HAVE NOT done the work.
When I sold my 40 year old small lawn tractor as a museum piece, a replacement was $25,000. AND I STILL HAVE TO DRIVE IT!! Yarbo has saved me 253 hours in the last 10 months.
I have a 26 hp tractor with a bucket and 62” mower deck. The deck hasn’t come out of the shed this summer. I use the bucket only for plow snow and to push back banks when they reach 4-5 feet.
I’ve had my first Yarbo almost a year. I researched them for two years before I bought and talked to the prototype testers as they were just really coming to the mass consumer market when I got mine. It’s the best on the market.
I have two cores, two mowers and a blower, and cover almost four acres mowing and an acre total blowing. There is a fair amount of setup involved, but if you follow directions and don’t rush it’s not bad. There is TONS of support from Yarbo. You see some folk complaining on facebook, but usually they are taking shortcuts.
I’m a retired educator, so my interest is in helping people learn about robotics. Some people just sell machines. I love Yarbo because I don’t like people getting taken advantage of. It is also why I do demos and am an amateur contact so I can help people for free without a conflict of trying to sell them. If Yarbo won’t work for you, I’ll tell you. And Yarbo will too.
I love Yarbo products and the positive, supportive attitude of the Yarbo company SO MUCH that I’m in the process of setting up a dealership and repair center. The excitement and the fun, the look on people’s face when they get a Yarbo set up is priceless. We get to sit together, have a cup of coffee, and chat while a couple of button pushes cuts the lawn.
While Yarbo isn't perfect it's a Great Tool
While Yarbo isn't perfect, it has proven to be a great tool. We are from Canada, we winter in the southern USA. Last year, Yarbo kept my 6000 ft driveway clear while away with very little trouble. I was able to control it remotely making it easy to ensure it was working properly. The small issue i had with cameras, the support team was able to get it operating within minutes of receiving my email. My only wish is that the battery lasted longer in the winter months. But at -30c, what can you expect. It took 2 charges to complete the driveway. After returning home I purchased the pro mower and haven't had to manually cut the grass at all this year. Its been great. We have over 20,000 sq ft of lawn, and again, while not perfect, the lawn always looks great. Enough so that my neighbor just purchased one and loves it.
⭐ 1 star
⭐ 1 star — Serious safety concerns
I am extremely disappointed with my Yarbo.
The biggest problem is its behavior around obstacles. Yarbo drives directly into objects that are clearly large enough to be detected. Instead of stopping, it can continue driving, push objects, or even drive over them.
This has happened repeatedly on my property.
For example, Yarbo pushed my child’s sandbox approximately 1 meter from its original position and drove through and over toys and other objects in the yard.
I also have photos showing Yarbo driving into a large rose bush/tree and driving over a barrier. These are not small or difficult-to-see obstacles.
This is extremely concerning. A robot designed to operate autonomously should be able to recognize large obstacles and stop instead of driving into them or attempting to drive over them.
I bought Yarbo expecting a high-end autonomous robot that I could trust to operate safely on my property. At the moment, I cannot trust it to do that.
I consider this a serious safety issue, not simply a minor software problem or inconvenience.
I expect Yarbo to take this seriously, investigate why the obstacle detection and avoidance are failing, and provide a proper solution.
For a product at this price level, this behavior is completely unacceptable.
I would strongly advise potential buyers to carefully consider these safety issues before purchasing Yarbo.

Yarbo - you wont regret it !
Yarbo has been a great addition to my property. With a 5000 sq ft driveway to snow blow in harsh Canadian winters - Yarbo has been able to handle light fluffy, dense wet snow and ice. It sometimes does get stuck - but that is because of my rural country laneway that is unpaved. Customer service has been great so far - although a little disjointed sometimes when multiple people pick up your ticket. Overall though Yarbo goes above and beyond for the customers. No software update issues, no battery or mechanical issues. I'm more than a year in and it is smooth sailing so far.
YARBO MOWER
I have to say that initially I was a true believer in this product! In theory it should work great but does not! Slow delivery on timeline for products ordered that are prepaid for months in advance.
We ordered mower, trimmer and snowblower. All of which do not work. Snowblower destroyed within the second run on our driveway. Trimmer, weak at best. But the mower which we had the most hope for does not cut grass!
Mapping updates are very unreliable! Unfortunately, we spend more time babysitting Yarbo than what it does for us.
Also, getting parts is impossible. Sales team is great; service is not.
At the end of the day, Yarbo does NOT cut it!! I would not recommend spending your money or time on thus product.

Lot of money for lousy product
First they don't tell you it is back ordered. Then they always say it is shipping this week or in a a day or two. Took me canceling it for them to finally ship the core unit. A month later the snow blower is STILL backordered or stuck in customs.
In theory it is a nice idea. It looks impressive. But unfortunately it should still be in beta testing mode, as it always has software issues!
It is very complex and time consuming mapping a large yard. The main issue is it CONSTANTLY drops connection from the app, or gps, which is a major problem when trying to map a yard, because then you have to backtrack the unit to last place it communicated.
After days of set up and a learning curve, it finally mowed a large portion of my yard. Next morning it went out to mow, and died 30 minutes later. After a ton of signal drops, and now a dead unit with no reply after 24 hours from company, it is all being packed up. Chargeback has been started due to the nature of dealing with this company.

Could be amazing but is not
Constantly release updates with bugs. On my 4th core in a year. 2nd mower pro. Trimmer was delivered defective. Customer service went downhill and they pay for lots of ads but continue to fail existing Customers. When it works its great but for the price point it needs extensive work

Rocky Start, but Yarbo Made It Right.
I ran into a number of issues early on with my Yarbo, GPS issues, battery overheating alerts, and connectivity problems.
Since then, Yarbo's support team has really come through for me. They worked closely with me to sort out every issue, and stuck with it until everything was running smoothly.
Genuinely great people to deal with, patient, responsive, and clearly invested in getting it right.
They stood behind their product, and I'm happy to update my review to reflect that, because they've earned it. Been working flawlessly. Thank you.

Does my lawn and snowblows my driveway - yarbo is part of the family
Yarbo is definitely a bleeding edge product and not without some flaws. It does also have a learning curve and a need for understanding technology, but it does work well - I've put it to the test both with a complex lawn and with big snow storms and it did really well. It also always seems to be constantly improving and Yarbo is constantly taking community feedback into account.
Do not buy this mower
Do not buy this mower! I’ve had it for a year now. It mows at best at graded level of D. Customers service is overseas and difficult to get any satisfaction from their circular answers. If you are watching this mower the ratings continue to decline. They have a long way to go for a good experience.

No proper Support. So much work to setup. Pain to Map.
I bought a Yarbo with Mower Pro and Snow Blower. I had to submit a ticket the first day as Yarbo connected to the data center but didn't work (No GPS Signal). After 2 weeks of Back and forth on 5/27 they fixed it online and said it was a technical issue on their side!
Mapping is very hard especially if you have a hard-to-reach big yard. (A simple google map would have helped but no you have to manually walk around the yard and remove every obstacle from the edge of perimeter to map it) -Doesn't make sense for the amount of money spent!
No proper user Manual available online. Yarbo site recommends you buy stuff and then you will realize that most of them were already in the package you bought.
After 23 days my Snow blower hasn't arrived yet and in the website shows everything was delivered. To my surprise Chat with rep didn't work and they said look out for an email which probably will arrive in 2~5 days!
Another issue that I had which is mostly on my end but still doesn't make sense is that Yarbo tries to go and recharge on the charging station but then for some reason instead of backing to the charging station it actually goes forward and puts the mower pro module on the charging station. (Huge Bug!)
So:
1. No Tech support! Very Slow! Very frustrating
2. No proper Manual on how to properly use the app and setup Area map (Advanced setup for mowing options and details of each mode and obstacle detection option for example.), and too much work creating map.
3. No detail about what is in the box, so you might order extra stuff.
4. Yarbo Core is good. and this might work on a yard with small number of obstacles. For a complex yard it will just start avoiding obstacles and reroutes and then simply stops completely or goes back to charge. which if it is very frustrated parks the mower pro on the charging station instead of Yarbo Core!!!

I really wanted to love the Yarbo…
I really wanted to love the Yarbo system because the concept is amazing — robotic lawn care and snow blowing in one platform sounds like the future. Unfortunately, the actual ownership experience has been incredibly frustrating.
The biggest issue has been customer support. Responses are either extremely delayed or nonexistent. When you’re dealing with expensive equipment that isn’t working properly, waiting days or weeks for meaningful help is unacceptable. It honestly feels like once they have your money, support becomes an afterthought.
The battery performance has also been disappointing. Runtime is inconsistent, charging takes longer than expected, and in colder weather the snow blower setup drains fast. For a product marketed around automation and convenience, constantly worrying about battery levels defeats the purpose.
Then there’s the app — easily one of the weakest parts of the experience. The software feels unfinished and unreliable. Features are buggy, connections randomly fail, mapping can be inconsistent, and updates sometimes seem to create new problems instead of fixing old ones. You end up spending more time troubleshooting than actually using the machine.
For the premium price Yarbo charges, I expected polished hardware, dependable software, and responsive support. Instead, it feels like an expensive beta test with customers acting as unpaid QA testers.
After their placating response on trustpilot, their service continues to refuses to communicate nor honor their warranty. My unit will not even turn on and their refusal to honor their warranty is resulting in me filing complaints wit hthe BBB and Attorney General.

Don't buy it-Doesn't Work
Don't buy it! It hasn't worked on our 1 acre lot since we bought it! Support Team keeps dragging their feet, send new modules, new units and parts, and over 9 (Nine) Months now, still doesn't work. It is garbage. THEY NEED TO JUST REFUND OUR MONEY NOW!!!! Never worked since Day 1.

Don't give them your email!
Upfront I have not purchased a unit. I've considered it and made the mistake of giving them my email. A week later and multiple unsubscibe attempts I still get 6+ emails a day. So I've blocked them. Unfortunately they must auto sign you up on multiple marketing streams from different addresses since my email is unable to block all of them and I keep getting them. The constant spam stream has turned me off even considering their product. Its partly on me for ever giving them my email in the first place but sheesh this is ridiculous.

hit and miss
I’ve been using Yarbo on my rural property for a few months now, and when it works, it’s like magic. But there’s a catch: it requires a lot of babysitting. The battery is a bit of a bottleneck; it takes hours to charge and often gets 'stuck' at a certain percentage, meaning I have to manually send it back out at 50% just to get the job done. The real headache, though, is the navigation. It always tries to take the shortest route home, which usually means slamming straight into a snow wall on my curvy driveway. Once it’s stuck, it drains its battery trying to escape, leaving me to trek out and rescue a heavy, dead robot in the middle of a storm.
Purchased Yarbo snowblower package in…
Purchased Yarbo snowblower package in December2025 hesitantly and it has beyond a doubt proven itself in a central New Hampshire winter setting ! Had a couple of hiccups during initial setup and the support team got me right through them promptly. This machine sits in a semi remote setting on its own and performs regularly and flawlessly so far. I cannot and won't speak for others but my results have saved me countless hours of snow removal. I will say it is working an 1800 square foot paved driveway basically a horseshoe shape .I have taken control of it manually also from over 70 miles away again it did what was wanted. There is a learning curve no doubt but patience will pay off. Although only one and three quarter month owner I`m sold and can't say enough. I hesitated and hesitated for months to make a decision ,read and watched numerous videos and finally decided. Glad I did !
There is absolutely nothing this setup that is worthy of praise.
There is absolutely nothing this product did correctly the first time. And it continues to fail. Many performance issues have been blamed on software, and we get updates almost biweekly. They may or may not help. Why weren't these fixed before release? Both mowing and snow blowing performance is poor when you eventually get it to work as they say it should. It is mediocre at best. Many parts have failed and continue to fail even after owning for 1.5 years. Many of the marketing promises are just fake. Not going to happen.
