OCU have subbed work put to LRK witch is a traffic management company that are absolutely clueless about employing staff with releveant tickets that are in date and then after their mistake they sack lads on site and make them catch the train home from Huddersfield to doncaster at there own cost, that is not anyway to treat your staff or employees, for a man who has a family and dependants this is not the way to run a business at all and mess people about, upon finishing i continuously tried to contact them and I was ignored for days until I finally got word of payment so ive adjusted my review after a long and painful wait knowing this company would not make payments ive now adjusted this again and as it stands I still wait for the paymbet for my work witch is against the law, 100 percent avoid this company and ocu group inwoukd get rid and stop giving them work as they wear your uniform on site representing ocu group

On February 13, 2026, we took a Renfe train from Seville to Bobadilla, for two passengers. The scheduled arrival time was 10:27 PM, but we arrived in Bobadilla at 2:30 AM. Without clear information, we were taken to Dos Hermanas by commuter train, then by bus to Arahal, where we were put on a train that broke down, forcing us to transfer again. After the trip, they refused to refund the ticket price and didn't help us file a complaint. Thanks to the OCU (Spanish Consumers' Organization), we were finally able to get a refund.

Many years ago, I was a member of OCU, but later I had to cancel my membership. Recently, I saw a membership offer and signed up again. It was only for a couple of months, but... the experience couldn’t have been more positive!!! The organisation’s legal department opened a case regarding an abuse of power by an electricity supplier (NEXUS Energía) that I sued, and they won! I’d really love to stay with them and keep my subscription, but sadly I’ve had to cancel it again.
Consumer: if you can afford to have OCU on your side, my advice is: don’t hesitate!

I contacted OCU to set a claim from Iberia Airlines to compensate for a very late flight and in less than a month they obtained the compensation

I was able to get my money back, it was a nightmare, the company just ignored all my complaints and working with the OCU in just a few days I got it.
Thank you very much.

I would like to thank OCU for their professional and effective support in resolving a serious issue with a courier company.
My package was lost by SEUR, and after weeks of uncertainty, OCU handled my claim in a clear, structured, and firm manner. Thanks to their intervention, the company finally acknowledged responsibility and processed the case through their indemnification department.
OCU kept me informed throughout the process and provided clear guidance at every step. Their support made a real difference and saved me a great deal of time and stress.
I highly recommend OCU to anyone who needs strong and reliable consumer protection.

Without OCU I would not have been able to get my money back. I had tried for MONTHS and spent sooo many hours and OCU ended up getting me what I was entitled to. Sooo incredibly grateful.

I was their member for couple of years. They haven't solved not even one case in my favor. I had to write emails to reclaim the refund, and do everything myself. They just forwarded emails between me and the companies. They didn't protected my rights nor fight the company. Totally useless. I regret money spent on their services because they provided nothing valuable.
The saddest thing is that they claim that they did everything correctly and are not capable for understanding their inefficiency and lack of expertise.

The Office of Consumer Affairs (OCU) provided a swift, yet ultimately disappointing experience. Initially, they were responsive and validating, eagerly processing all the documentation I provided. However, this initial enthusiasm masked a critical flaw: they lack the legal authority to compel companies to take action. This was revealed only after months of payments and a useless, duplicated letter. While they offer further legal help, it comes at a steep price, unlike their small monthly fee. Essentially, they profit from frustrated consumers, offering the illusion of action without the power to deliver. My negative experience, sadly, isn't unique, suggesting a pattern of ineffectiveness and misleading practices.

I have read that OCU receives commissions from private companies in exchange for attracting customers.

First contact was to ask advice in accordance with OCU's ADVERTISED FREE SERVICE. Their response was "we don't have a free service, you must pay".
I paid the subscription and again requested assistance, 23 September 2024, 26 September 2024 & 4 October 2024. They sent confirmation receipt emails saying they would contact.
I never heard anything else from them and my communications are not even recorded in my account profile. 6134804-39

This company tries to make money from consumers who have problems with companies. Instead of advising the consumer to resolve the dispute with the company, they turn it into a public fight to harm the company. Even if consumers proclaim demonstrable lies, OCU will simply leave the complaint publicly online. This is a very shady company. Stay far away from it.
