I adore the products here. I purchased several Halloween decor objects online and had them shipped. They were packaged just.. loose in a box with minimal packing material so of course they were all sm... See more

Michaels at L Street Omaha has the most…
Michaels at L Street Omaha has the most unfriendly staff. The last several visits have been worse. When waiting for a cashier I hear a voice saying we have self checkout. Lazy, I want someone to talk to. It was once a friend place not any more.
Trainyards rebiew…
Has the pleasure of visiting your Trainuards location today. Absolutely best service I have ever received. The woman cutting my fabric was amazing. And the young gentleman at the cash was super friendly and helpful. I was checking myself out but he made sure everything was good and that I did not need help. Took an interest in what I was making. Everyone there today seemed happy and looked like they enjoyed what they were doing.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with the manager at Michaels. Her attitude toward both customers and employees was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She came across as rude, nasty, and completely uninterested in providing good customer service.
A manager should set the example for how customers and employees are treated, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. The way she handled interactions was unacceptable and made the overall experience very uncomfortable. Michaels really needs to address the way customers and employees are being treated at this location.

I just went to Michael's on 66 street and 20 Ave N Saint Petersburg Fl Plaza and their Employees are the Best 👌 bar NONE. THEY TRULY ARE SUPER HELPFUL .. THANKS AGAIN 😊 TO ALL 3 OF YOU , ANN & MICHELLE., ALSO SORRY I DIDN'T CATCH THE 3RD PERSONS NAME.. ALL 3 OF YOU HUYS ARE WONDERFUL
Michaels Stores Are Unreliable
I ordered 12 yards of fabric. I have received only 2 yards of fabric. The company is doing nothing to find the missing fabric or solve the situation. The only response I get from them are form emails that say basically nothing and do absolutely nothing. The 2 yards I received were not cut from a 54 inch bolt as advertised online. Also, you would expect when you order fabric from a fabric store you would get the entire order intact. Not only did this not happen but also 10 yards of fabric are missing and nothing is being done. It is clear they don’t really care.
First I went to Michael's near McKinley…
First I went to Michael's near McKinley and they were nice but only had one left of what I was looking for..turns out it wasn't what I needed. So I go to the Walden store and the guy cashier is very rude telling me why didn't I return it back to McKinley??!! Be cause you can return at any location. Then I'm supposed to do his job and read the receipt to him. I said you must need glasses. He didn't like that. But oh well but he was a jerk and I dealt with him before and no wonder he works at Michaels I can't see many other stores hiring him!!
You’d think I would learn my lesson
You’d think I would learn my lesson, but no. Every time I order online from Michael’s, shipping takes forever. And, I have never ordered anything from one of their third party vendors; only from Michael’s. I ordered a craft cart on a Monday that was supposedly in stock in the Dallas area to be delivered in the Dallas area by Wednesday according to the website. On Wednesday, UPS tracking showed the carrier was still awaiting the package, and I have no idea when I’ll get this. The same cart is on Amazon. I wish I could travel back in time because I would pay the extra $30 to actually receive the product. No more orders from me, Mikey.
No in-store sales anymore
I am really frustrated with Michaels. I don't understand their obsession with making people shop online to get items on sale. When I ask their chatbot why the store never has sales that match the website, it says "there are higher fixed operational costs for the physical stores, but you can always purchase online to get the sale prices and pick up in store". Doesn't that contradict itself?? Why would you want to pay more in labor for someone else to go do my shopping when I am likely to purchase MORE if I do my own shopping? I'm directing this specifically at the yarn. I like to touch the yarn I am buying. I have gone into the store every week for the last 5 weeks, and none of the yarn has been on sale in the store, while online it has been up to 30% off "Online Only". Does Michaels just want their stores to go out of business??
Honestly do better
Honestly, I don’t know how you guys are still in business. None of your crafts are actually worth any of the money you’re selling them for half of your store is just paper and it’s only paper you can use with certain expensive machines not only that, but all of your holiday decorations are absolute garbage like what kind of team do you have that makes your merchandise Ashland is absolute garbage whoever is in charge of that team needs to be put on probation and needs to be put into fine arts program because they have absolutely no taste or aesthetic in any way shape or form. Like honestly who is your quality control, honestly for the last 8 years it doesn’t seem like your company hasn’t given one single care with what you put on your shelves. Completely down hill 0/10 will be buying online from now on
Mats for Cross Stitch
I have been purchasing mats for my cross stitch pictures for a few years 50+ mats. I choose a colour from the large in store collection and usually can wait for it to be cut. I went into the Port Coquitlam store only to be told they now carry maybe 12 colours in store (very dull colours) and that I would have to order any other colour and wait 3 weeks to get it. I am disappointed at this cut back and will have to look elsewhere. Pam Shelast.
Ordering online for smae day pick up.
Ordering online for smae day pick up doesn't save time. I thought it would be more convenient to place an order online and have my husband pick it up for me, but when he arrived it was not ready and they did not fill it on the spot, telling him he would have to come back. It would have been quicker to go myself.
They sent me the wrong item
They sent me the wrong item, wouldn't refund me for the amount and screwed me around for a month. So stuck with the wrong yarn. won't even honor their return policy with the receipt.

Never received mail order
I ordered yarn in July. The delivery supposed to be August 3. I received an email from Michael's to review the product on Aug 7th. I checked the tracking and the product had never been delivered to the shipper. The agent took nearly 30 min to come online and basically said it wasn't Michael's responsibility to track late orders an I would have to wait until Aug 14th to apply for a refund. So Michael's isn't responsible for letting customers know about shipping problems and don't keep track of mail orders. Poor customer service and bad business practice.
In your Frederick MD store
In your Frederick MD store, I have been helped by Elaine on several visits. She assists me with the checkout and helps me with suggestions. She has always been friendly. I appreciate it very much.
No way on-line to indicate orders cannot be picked up...
I live 70 miles from nearest store. No way with on-line to indicate that all items must be shipped. Inquiry to customer service (on-line) totally useless. If they cannot deal with such a simple request, why are they even on-line?
BUYER BEWARE: Huge discrepancy in online vs. in-store pricing
Buyer Beware: If you are using Michaels custom framing, always check their online pricing estimator before heading into the store! I looked on the Michaels website to have two 18x24" prints matted and framed. The website was advertising 70% off, and the quoted price came out to $98 each.
Because I wanted to see the mat colors up against my actual prints, I decided to take them into my local store, which was also advertising the 70% off sale.
The salesperson who assisted me was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job helping me select the perfect mats to set off the artwork. However, when it came time to ring it up, the store system calculated the total for the two single-matted, MDF frames with acrylic at $422.82 (reflecting a staggering "regular" price of $1334.22 for the pair).
Fortunately, when I showed the employee the $98 online quote, she kindly adjusted the total to match the website. While the customer service at this location was fantastic, the in-store pricing system is highly misleading and vastly inflated compared to their own website. Make sure you do your homework online first so you don't overpay!

I wanted to make a return today at Toledo Talmadge store and I didn't have my receipt or was a member, but the manager ( I think Julie) went above and beyond to help me... Customer for life thanks to her.

Michael's is now selling items on their website that is not affiliated with Michael's. When I went to check out I noticed each item was being shipped from different companies. I will never shop Michael's again. I want a real store not a temu shop.
I bought a frame there for 100
I bought a frame there for 100. then paid an extra 80. for them to frame something, I was told that it would be stich in. Upon picking it up over a week later all they did was pin it in with the pins that come with the frame. It would of took me 10 min to do the same thing, are you kidding me what a con-job!!! I'm going back for a refund!
