Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 191 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently reported significant delivery delays, missing pieces in their building sets, and unexpected order cancellations without proper notification. Many buyers felt that prices were excessively high for the delivered quality, while others struggled extensively to reach support agents to resolve payment or shipping problems. Some reviewers were happy with the prompt shipping, friendly staff assistance, and well-organized online sections for choosing individual parts. These individuals mentioned that getting replacement components for incomplete kits was straightforward and that their packages arrived safely within expected timeframes. Other customers also noted that their orders arrived quickly when purchases went smoothly without complications.

Pre ordered not delivered, autistic son distraught and customer service do not care

Pre ordered a set for my autistic son.
DPD claimed they couldn't deliver, even though they have my what3words on their app. I had it redirected to a pickup point as they are incompetent.
The pickup point at post office said they never dropped it off. Upon looking at the tracking it was going back to Lego.
I contacted Lego customer service who could not have been less helpful. The advisor did not listen to my concerns and the upset this has caused to someone unable to comprehend what's happening, and literally left the live chat with it still not resolved. Disgusting.

Unrealistic Assurance

Lego is the most profitable toy company in the world. The extreme reduction of PRINTS and re-use of current colours and moulds gives them unrealistic assurance and this might just be the downfall as seen early 2000’s LEGO.

I ordered the Pokémon smart play

I ordered the Pokémon smart play, training house with Pikachu and Mewto Lab Break for my Grandsons birthday which is today. He wants to fight one against the other but you can’t. You need a smart brick for both pokemon but only the Pikachu kit has one. Lego do not sell separately so the only way to get one is to spend another £100. I contacted Lego as I am very disappointed as I think the website and the marketing is very misleading and my Grandson is very disappointed and has spoilt his birthday as he was so looking forward to playing with his toys and they do not work as marketed on the website. Lego pointed me to a second hand site where I can buy a smart brick from Poland for £60 but I am worried I am going to get ripped off again. Very disappointing. Won’t buy any more Lego after this.

Finally….My Issue is Sorted

This is a follow up to a review I wrote a few days ago. I was having problems with customer service over an issue. At the time it was not resolved.
Well, now it is. Finally tonight, my daughter has received the e-gift card I ordered for her👍👍👍
It’s only taken them ten days to do it🙄🙄🙄, which seems to be a lot less time than a lot of customers have experienced, and at least she has received it, and I haven’t lost the money I paid out.
To be honest I don’t think they would have bothered about it if I hadn’t kept sending emails inquiring what the heck was going on…….emails which were never answered.
I did get an email from customer service yesterday (21st) to say the issue was resolved and that they had sent my daughter her e-gift card, but no apology for not answering my emails or keeping me informed of any progress.
I shan’t be buying from Lego again though, that’s for sure!

Not as bad as the reviews claim

I've had good luck with the Lego website. I get what I order and it comes relatively fast. The only issue I have had has been in buying individual pieces. The Pick a Brick section is well organized and it's easy to find what I need, but getting those pieces is something else entirely. I ordered a large assortment of pieces and they never came. It took months and then, with no explanation, my order was refunded. It was nice that I didn't have to fight for a refund, but what I really wanted were the pieces I'd ordered. So, I won't be bothering with that again. But the rest of the site is good. It's easy to navigate the site and the products have always come to me quickly.

PROMOTIONAL OFFERS ARE NOT AT ALL WHAT…

PROMOTIONAL OFFERS ARE NOT AT ALL WHAT THEY ADVERTISE, Bought a Fortnite set for my son primarily for the fortnite redeemable game skins, when I registered it it displayed an already claimed message, it’s been 3 weeks. lego has made me sign up to buy their products on their site and jump through a bunch of hoops, their support is not at all helpful and now i’m giving up trying to fix it, last lego product I will ever buy

I have nothing but praise for the LEGO…

I have nothing but praise for the LEGO Customer Service. I recently placed items in my online basket, and when I returned to pay a free gift had been removed. I complained and a supervisor rang me within 20 minutes to explain that demand had been very high and the item was out of stock. The supervisor listened to me carefully and said she would do what she could to see if there were any cancelled or spare stock. I was astounded to receive the gift within days of my complaint. Brilliant service, and a very happy customer

Loosing identity again…

You’re loosing your identity to branded sets again…
I visited two stores yesterday and the amount of Pokémon, Fortnite and other branded products was ridiculous, to the point the sets I was after weren’t on the shop floor.
I get that you need to cater to the customers and the majority of those are young kids, but you forget that those with money to burn are adults looking for you signature high quality and not wasted money from the new fangled light up bricks, if you want to start pushing that bring back the mindstorm sets.

Missing Pieces

I purchased the Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape. After I began to build, I realized two different pieces were missing. I completed the form online and was denied the two missing pieces. Than I contacted Lego via emai and they sent both pieces out. Two weeks later and I get one of the two pieces. They forgot to mail me the other piece. Now I have to wait another two weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be purchasing another set. $140 down the drain.

I purchase the Lego Classic Batmobile…

I purchase the Lego Classic Batmobile 76328 and it is the worst Lego item i have ever purchased. It took a while to build due to missing pieces which i requested 8 times in all. I spoke to lego direct about the missing parts and i later was told that due to my frustration they were going to send me a gift. The email said they were going to send Batmobile 76328 which quite surprised me.What i received was a crappy little Batmobile 76332. The person i spoke to at Lego about this said he would pass my remarks on to the department who dealt with this. That was over a week ago and i am not holding my breath for a call. The very least Lego should have done was to apologise if the Model that i though i was getting was a mistake.

Wrong set delivered, now I have lost money and not received my order weeks later.

I ordered a £260 set and the completely wrong set arrived. I have since contacted customer service and was asked to send a picture of what I received and the shipping label, so I did within minutes. I have since called back multiple times for over a week now and all they have said is that someone in the warehouse team will have to look into it. Meanwhile they have not sent the set I actually ordered, nor have they offered a refund. I don’t know how much longer I’m supposed to wait when I needed it weeks ago. I would order another one but then I’ve paid twice, and who knows how long the “refund” process will take. The set that arrived was more expensive than what I ordered, I may as well have kept it/sold it, it was their mistake and should be their loss. Yet I am the one left having lost money and not received what I paid for. How hard is it to send the item that someone paid for and give them a return label to give back what you sent them? Surely you would investigate your warehouse team after your customer has been sorted. Appalling service, I thought for such a large company, and such expensive items, it would be better than this.

Don’t buy it from their website

If you want to buy from Lego just go to their stores instead of their website because your order will stuck in their warehouse and can take more than 48 hours or more just to process before it send it to you and after checking my parcel status it turns out that the are shipping it from Belgium and they got in UK warehouse that’s weird and funny, after placing a order from their website it can’t be cancel or get refund until you receive it so all you can do is wait for it means you are stuck with them .
