Cris arrived and was very professional and got the job done very quickly. He verified what areas needed to be completed, and was great to work with.

Wish I didn’t have to leave a star. Had to have this mess taken off my house. Less than 3years old. Call repeatedly when the water falls ran off my house. Less than a year old I called the woman that answered the phone was very rude. I’m 74 years old and never have I been spoke to that way. I believe in customer service. The have none after you buy the junk they sale..
I still have excessive leaking. Installed yesterday. Raining today. What a frigging waste of precious money.
They came out and removed when we had a new roof put on and instead of replacing what was taken off which was beyond using, they used it anyway and left one gutter not connected to the down spout and you can see leaves in that downspout. And we had to pay 1400.00 for this mess.

Leaf Filter out of Billings, Mt. Did work on my 76 year old Mother's home in Bozeman, Mt. She has a 1200 sq ft, single level, ranch style home. Roughly 100' of gutter. She was charged $8,000! This is Roughly 4x the market rate.
After reading just a handful of reviews on Yelp, Google, etc. 2,800 complaints with the Better Business Bureau in Mt. Please do your research.

We paid a lot of money for this service. We were told we would never have to go up on a ladder and clean off the gutter protectors because the rain will wash off all the debris. This is absolutely not the case. Leaves and pine needles have collected so much on them that our gutters overflow when it rains. I used an extended brush to try to clean off the debris and there is a massive amount up there. I called the company to complain about it and they said they could send someone out to have a look for $125.00 (which is in the contract. Read the fine print)
I could have just paid someone to come and clean my gutters out twice a year for that. I feel we were lied to and taken advantage of. Don't waste your money on this product. Just call someone to come and clean your gutters for you. Not impressed. Not happy.

I've had the LeafFilter system installed for 6 years. It does work very well. However, I now have an issue of a clog in about a 3' section at the end of the system over my front entry. Per their "Lifetime Warranty", they will come out and fix it, no problem. I just have to pay a $125.00 trip charge. Hog wash! I'm 62 years old and can't feel my feet due to neuropathy, but I'll be a monkey's uncle if I'm going to pay their extortion rates. I'll risk getting on a ladder and fixing it myself.

I went to Lowe’s minding my own business when I was approached by a store attendant who wanted to waste my time for a few minutes. She was able to set me up with an appointment to get an estimate with Leaf Filter, and at first I was excited for the possibility of getting some gutters on the house, or at the very least get an idea of cost. Three days in a row Leaf Filter no showed. I called each day to complain and I got an earful of apologies, but after the third day I decided to go with the competition. This is a sad story because Leaf Filter told me before my appointment to please be there because if they are known for anything, it’s their military like promptness. Whatever.

My advice is to avoid these people!
Their bottom line estimate was $9,000 for my project and I got an equivalent system installed by a local contractor for $2,100. In addition I was subject to badgering by their salesman when I refused to sign a contract before he left.
On Friday, July 10 a representative of Leaf Filter visited my home to provide an estimate for replacing my gutters or just adding leaf guards. He didn’t leave a business card and I don’t remember his name, but he is the first person I’ve ever had to throw out of my home.
Our appointment was at 5:00 and he didn’t arrive until 5:20, with no phone call to indicate he wouldn’t be on time.
After inspecting my home he provided me the estimates for replacing my gutters and for only adding leaf guards. He then described the discounts that would significantly reduce the costs. His first estimate was over $13,000 and after several adjustments the price was reduced to $9,500
When I advised him that I was getting several estimates, his was the first and I would not be signing any commitment until I had gotten some other estimates his demeanor changed.
He became more insistent that there was no need for other estimates since his product was so clearly better than any other option. When I again told I would evaluate other options before making a decision he became belligerent.
He asked what was the “real reason” we wouldn’t sign today implying there was some ulterior motive at play. He also accused us of being cheap and stupid for not buying his system. One example he used was going to a Mazerati dealership and buying a Corolla. He kept saying the same thing over and over again in a more indignant tone of voice until I told him I wouldn’t buy the Leaf Filter system no matter what the price.
I also told him to get out of my house, which he did while continuing berate our cheapness and stupidity.
I’m 79 years old and perhaps he felt he could badger me into purchasing his system. He was wrong.
Insulting your customer does not seem like a good way to complete a sale or enhancing your reputation.
I can now understand why he was so insistent on my signing the contract while he was here. I got a local contractor to install an equivalent system for $2,110 compared to the $9,000 LeafFilter would charge.

My gutters were installed and are mostly working fine.
I did have a yearlong issue where no one called me back.
FINALLY they did come out and fix the issue and they are working better.!

when installed the salesman said they would clean off pine needles if necessary. and guards were warranted for life.
Well I just spoke to a representative and was told for 150 dollars they would send someone out.
not a happy camper!!!

Good product but try to get in touch wth someone about warranty needs, GOOD LUCK! I have called 3 times to ask if someone can come out because there are issues. I have given up on trying to talk to someone. I paid alot of money for this. I believed in the warranty, but what good is a warranty if you can't talk to someone at the # provided! Please advise

We were lied to the water runs across leaffilter and not in the gutter and we were told leafs and pine needles would wash or blow off also a lie don't waste your money and the only feedback you get is we appreciate your review but tough we got your money and not going to fix the problem

I have had my leaf filters for one year now. I just did my fifth cleaning of the Leaf Filters. It is not in the gutters but the Leaf Filters plug with pine needles. Other pines or spruces may have the same issue. I had Home Depot filters that needed replacing, that worked better than these. I am 70 years old and was hoping to not have to clean the gutters every year or so. Their salesman said they will never clog. I asked about the pines, he said it will just wash off, no it does not. I spent a lot of money to do more work. Be warned if you have white pines you will be cleaning the filters or the gutters will just spill the water over the edge.

Do not hire this company they do not take care of their customers. I called several times they said it was because I didn’t have leaf filter on the back half of my house even though the water kept rushing over the gutter causing the gutter now to pull away from the house and the soffit. They will not come and fix it or repair it since they are the ones that installed it improperly I’ll never use this company again.

I was a contractor for leaf filter for several years so from the horses mouth dont buy it. They lie right to Customer face and push them to get sales they do not care about you or your home and any damages that will happen to your home and then they will try and blame you for any future services because you were not informed correctly during the install. They do not want installers to speak to homeowners about anything except to collect payments at the end of the project they use 1099 contractors so they dont even work for leaf filter so the company doesn't have to be held reliable. Cause you only get a 1 year labor warranty not a life time like they say. The people get trained for 2 days 2 small jobs then they get sent to work on people's home, they treat workers like trash. They dont care about the workers well being they just want the work done doesn't matter if it's correct or not. There motto is tnt today not tomorrow cause there scared the customer will do research on them and just not except there crappy product dont buy it it's not worth it in the long run just pay someone to clean your gutter out. Don't buy leaf filter they have countless law suits against them, they are a sleazy company and dont care about you or your home.

This company is a SCAM! They give you a Lifetime Warranty and you are told it’s full coverage. What they don’t tell you is the “ lifetime” is only 2 years and it’s “limited”. We called because our filters are sagging so low they are pulling off our gutters in a few places where the leaves are now building up. When I called they said it was $125.00 for them to come plus the charge for them to fix it. What kind ow warranty is that? Not really standing behind their product are they? Their warranty is a “no clog” guarantee. Not a product malfunction one! Total misrepresentation. BEWARE!
I would caution anyone from buying from these scammers.

Had system installed in August of 2024 which was a very dry year (drought conditions) and during the past year experienced heavy rains that created a waterfall effect over my front porch. my house has two different roof pitches both diverting water onto a single roof over my porch. Called LeafFilter to see if something could be done about this thinking lifetime warranty would cover. was told would send someone to inspect for a charge of $125 to which I objected. A inspector came out and installed 4" high metal barrier thinking it would divert the flow of water which it hasn't. This warranty is a joke...just an avenue for profit. Called another time to ask price to replace downspouts which were damaged by lawn service and wouldn't advice price without someone coming out to inspect for cost of $125. The people. I spoke with were arrogent and rude especially the little bimbo in the parts department. Wish I had gotten a competitive price elsewhere!!!

The system seems to be working fine.
The frustrating part is the cost. When asked where a comfortable price would be I told the salesman. He told me he could get it to that price. Lots of things discussed not in writing. Contract was signed with the understanding that I would be paying the amount I wanted. With a suggestion of paying the original higher rate if I could. Surprise when my first bill arrives and it’s way more than what I was told I would pay! Very disappointed in how this turned out especially since they just keep trying and trying to sell you the product when you say you can’t afford it!

Product is great! However, the customer service is awful! Never answered their phone when I needed to talk to someone regarding our filters, and when we needed to have them taken down due to damage to our roof and filters from hail they charged us $2000.00 to remove them and put them back on which was a 20 to 30 min job at most! Thats $1000.00 for a 15 min job, Ridiculous! You would think that after paying almost $10,000 that they would be more helpful. "BUYER BEWARE"!
