They are declaring that accepting all sellers from Europe. Even the registration form has information about non-Polish sellers. But in fact, they accept no one outside Poland, because required polish business number! Support was rude, too. I think I will stop buying from there too, just they politics are not honor.

Probably the worst online shopping experience. Ordered 1 week ago, and many many phone calls, e-mails later, product order realized today. And past 4 days, including today, it was stated that day is shipping day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, fingers crossed...) they don't answer the phones now. I wish I checked this site before to see the ratings. It turned into an experiment for me, let's see for how long Empik will hold in the market where sellers deliver products to you even the same day. You need to catch up with the century we are in. Masakra, masakra, i masakra... Never again.

Avoid Mini Store on Empik Marketplace! They sell non-EU iPhones (Egypt distribution) and illegally refuse 14-day returns of opened items. They don't provide VAT invoices and block return processes by refusing to provide a return address. Empik support is not helpful in this case. Total lack of consumer safety for high-value items.

I bought a stroller directly from Empik (not other sellers through the marketplace).
It was shown with a carrycot in the picture, but I received it without it. Support said that it was a mistake on their website and they were nice enough to give me a voucher for the full price of a new carrycot and some extra.
Later, I noticed that the wheels are crooked and wobbly. The support has contacted the supplier who had sent me a new pair of wheels directly to me.
Everything took quite some time, but in the end, all problems were solved.

Not recommended! Waiting more than 3 weeks for my purchase and no one-is responding to my emails

I'm pretty satisfied with Empik, I've never had any issues with them. I can choose delivery as I wish: by a courier (additional fee) or I can go and pick up my parcel in a bookshop of theirs (free of charge). I can also quite often decide if I pay in advance or when I pick up the parcel.
It's usually cheaper to buy online than in a bookshop.

They stole 300 pln from me. I got a voucher from myBenefit that is not valid and I can't return it as I paid with my points from the employer. They are scammer. Don't buy anything here.

Ordered subscription of magazine just to be told it is not a subscription.
Magazine is worth £2 paid £16 for one off delivery. Empik just confirmed no refund will be issued.

This app had poor service after I ordered an iron. The iron arrived without factory seals, a water dosimeter, and with a bent ironing surface spout. I requested a return with photos. It took days for them to respond. Frustrated, I asked for a refund instead of a replacement due to lack of communication. They refused, claiming it's their choice. After waiting over two weeks for inspection, they initially said they'd repair it, then said it's cheaper to send a new one, and finally, they couldn't send a new one, offering compensation instead. I waited a month without an iron, unable to purchase another. My negative comment wasn't posted due to app censorship of negative feedback.

Empik is a disaster on wheels. Maybe some locals might use it if they have a cautionary country-specific VISA card – this reminds me of the Russian issues with restrictions. It's bizarre that in a supposedly European country, in a company which allegedly has a history and reputation, someone would hire such a dysfunctional operation manager who can't handle payments with VISA cards issued by a bank other than a Polish one. It's like shooting oneself in the foot and then sawing off the wounded part on the spot. I had a few subscriptions, although their selection isn't vast. I wanted to pay for another one and got a confirmation after using my VISA (UK bank). Everything seemed fine, a charge equivalent to 1 zł in GB Pounds currency appeared in my bank account, and I thought the matter was settled. But then, suddenly, there was a second charge attempt (?), followed by hours of confusion with customer service, and in the end, I was informed that they accept VISA, but only from a Polish bank (really not a joke). Someone once said that Poland is a wild country; I say don't insult the wild places because there, all cards work.

There are several reasons why I do not recommend to buy at empik:

1. Really bad customer service. You can spend "Empik funds (towje srodki)" only if items are sold directly by Emplik.

2. Once you order an item they send you the invoice in paper format. If you want an e-copy you need to talk to the customer service. (why creating additional workload for yourself?)

3. In general prices are higher than in other stores. Even "discounts" are more expensive.

4. DIscounted items are often sold and afterwards cancelled. - Why?

5. Search function is really bad. Hundreds of unrelated search results pop up. It's a pain to find the right product.

6. Shipping is super slow. Ordered some items with stroke pick up. I had to wait 1 week. Please look at Amazon how they work and give me one reason why I should order at empik.

Hopelessly disorganised shop. Glacially slow service. English book section total "balagan". They don't even bother to sort the books by author alphabetically. Don't buy here unless your desperate. Buy online. Anyway impossible to find good book shop in Poland (even in Polish language).

Nie Polecamy. We will never use them again. We ordered some DVD's (we think)? Thei website is difficult and confusing. It seemed to work until we got to payment. They dont seem to take Visa. After several confusing emails we tried again, and opted to pay at the Post Office! We have paid, but have no idea whether the DVDs are ordered, on their way, or our money is on its way to the moon. We accept that Polish is not our first language but we are not stupid! Their "English website" isn't! Dont go there! 27 April. They came! No explanation, no tracking info, but finally the DVDs appeared. 3 weeks? I have no problem with the time, but the total lack of feedback is unique.
